From the Business

Specialties

We specialize in all types of lock work. We re-key locks, we sell and install deadbolts and knobs, and we work on both commercial properties and residential homes as well as little locks such as cabinets and safe locks. We also work on vehicles, such as making lost keys or opening vehicles. Our prices differ from how far you are from us, but we will always be willing to listen and come up with a deal.

History

Established in 1984.

Before we took over there was a small lockshop here called Hale’s Lock. When Nick Horton bought and took over the business, he renamed the shop and it’s stuck ever since. Over the years Nick has had his sons work for him, as well as a few other employees, but he’s always been the driving force behind the business. Now he is retired but his son carries on the tradition while updating parts of the past.

Meet the Business Owner: Wayne H.

Wayne has been working at the lockshop for over 25 years now and just recently bought the shop from his father, who opened the shop 35 years ago. A devoted Christian man, Wayne is also a dedicated father and a wonderful patriarch to his family. No one knows more about locks, in the area, than Wayne. Except for his father!
