So close to the marina and our event we went up there for. The was a slight mixup with our reservations at their 2nd location so she arranged for us to stay at Lakeside. The thoughtful touches in our suite were numerous! Wether it was a sound machine, NetFlix on the television or board games on the shelf everything seemed to be carefully planned and followed through. This building in 1986 was once a grocery store & barroom. Then the Obey River Inn opened in 1996. Rachel & Alex bought it in 2020 and personally did the majority of the renovations! This place is going to take off once everyone wakes up and decides Florida ain't it and the baby boomer find that Tennessee is a great place to go with great weather etc. Reasonably close to Nashville and lots of outdoor activities nearby on the cleanest lake in Tennessee. The development is well run, always being improved and a real gem of a location high up on the ridge. Don't miss it! Good land that has great developers and quality management is hard to find and this place has it all. What I can't believe is that the people with dough in Nashville haven't discovered that they have this place for a summer home or retirement in their "backyard.".

The only complaint I think I would have is the older woman that checked us in, I couldn't tell if she was drunk, high or both and she was definitely not personable.
