They offer a small selection of sandwiches including turkey, ham, bbq and pulled pork. We ordered the turkey and pulled pork and took them outside to eat at one of their picnic tables. It's a very relaxing environment, especially on a cool day. The ice cream is excellent, sold by the scoop. The young ladies behind the counter were very pleasant. A great find our next TN adventure!

3 1/2 stars... we just stayed there last week for 5 days…read more *The good: 1) Sites for our RV are good sized and Nicely spaced. 2) It is convenient to the falls 3) The camp store had good ice cream and gifts of which we bought a fair amount. 4) The young lady running the office was nice. The Camp Host Lisa was terrific . *Not so good: 1) The promise of free WiFi was nonexistent! ZIP ZERO NADA! Avoid Site 4 if you want WiFi. Even when we had no 'neighbors' on either side, nothing! I would get a bar, BUT... a minute later it was GONE. Not any 5G either just LTE and no WiFi. I was advised by Lisa to turn off my phone, restart.... Nope not better. Tried several other things with same results...nothing. I wasted a lot of my vacation time trying to connect on their WiFi. One evening I took a walk to the far end of the camp and had full bars there for wifi...go figure... According to staff our Site 4 was really close to the office, and should have good reception... nope, wrong. When I requested something of any curtesy refund I was told No. Not sure we will be back to this camp ground.

It was a last minute decision to stop in TN for one night on our way hland we were happy we picked Deep Valley. First reasons to pick this place, great prices for the amenities. If you're cost-sensitive like me, or on a budget - great place. Of all the places we stayed at for the past two years they had the best prices! Second reason to stay here, and the biggest reason, the owner treated us like family - NO BS! When I pulled-in the park, I was greeted with a smile and he called me by my name before I introduced myself. They're in the people business and they do it well!! Pete is the man who greeted me. He is smart, informative, and super helpful. Everyone who writes about this campground is because of Pete and his family - they're great people and and worth meeting.

The owners are amazing, accommodating, and kind. Pete even checks with us weekly to see if we need propane. We have bonfires and potlucks, and we all celebrated Thanksgiving together. There's a beautiful trail that leads down to a waterfall and creek directly from the property. The pool is very nice, although it's too cold to swim now. The showers are much like campground showers, but they're always clean and warm with great water pressure. The washers and dryers are brand new HUGE HE machines. You pay one monthly fee and wash all you want, so definitely the best value we've ever experienced in a camp. The clubhouse is available at all times with pool, air hockey, foosball, games, puzzles...anything you'd really like to do. The camp itself is small and private and in the deep country. Very quiet. You will not ever experience similarities to a large, commercialized campground, so please do not arrive with those expectations. Come here if you enjoy the freedom to have campfires, hiking in your own backyard, and a family-like atmosphere. The owners are always here, it's safe, and it's close to Dale Hollow Lake, Standing Stone State Park, and many other attractions nearby. The electric is 30-amp, but we have had no issue with this. Pete lends you an adapter, as well as a cord to keep your waterlines insulated, then he coaches you on how to conserve electric. We've gone over a few times, and you simply walk down and flip a breaker. No issues at all. The WiFi is FANTASTIC. I work full-time from home online, so this is a MUST for me, and it has not failed us. What I love most is the horseshoe shape of the common grounds. You can see the swing set and pavilion from any site. My kids can safely play here, and the teenagers have been "hanging out" like they would with school friends. Lots of places here for them to socialize without being too close to campers (or bothersome). And they love children here, so it's a wonderful family camp. It's just an overall great camp filled with gracious people, nature, and heart. We love it here and will always come back when we're in this area. It breaks my heart to see only the negative Yelp review sponsored here because our family, as well as everyone else here and anyone who has arrived since, have experienced the total opposite of what this person reported. Twin falls was the best fall we saw on our visit of TN waterfalls. If you look carefully you will…read moresee that the water is coming out from the rock on the side of the gorge. It's actually leaking through the rocks from the reservoir on the other side. So it's partially a man made fall. The rock here is porous so this is basically a leak... The good news is that it is a steady and dependable fall, even when other falls are just trickles.

In Hilham, Tennessee, is Standing Stone State Forest (11K acres)- something I did not know existed…read more And in the middle of the forest is Standing Stone State Park, 1,000 acres which surrounds Kelly Lake. The park is two hours from Nashville. Apparently this area was named after a large boulder (a standing stone) that was in the area and acted as a border between Native lands. The boulder was eventually destroyed. The state of Tennessee acquired the land and opened the State Park in 1961. The park has a gift shop, a visitor's center, a scenic overlook, boating, picnic shelters, playgrounds, swimming, an amphitheater, fishing, 21 cabins, 4 group cabins, 36 campsites, and hiking trails- Cabin Spur Trail (.25 mile), Jordan Spur Trail (.3 mile), the Lake Trail (4.7 miles), and the Tea Room Trail (.15 mile). It also has something I've never seen before- these giant, huge display places for marble competitions with viewing bleachers. The park hosts a Spring Nature Rally every April, a National Marbles Championship in September, a Car Show every October, and a 5 mile run every November.

Unfortunately, that has not been our experience at Spacious Skies Belle Ridge. Throughout the campground, there are numerous dead and deteriorating treetops that pose a serious safety hazard. These are not isolated incidents or unpredictable concerns. Dead treetops have repeatedly fallen, causing damage to campers, vehicles, and even a cabin. Despite these repeated incidents, campground management has refused to accept responsibility, instead dismissing the damage as an act of nature. However, when hazardous trees are visibly deteriorating and concerns have been repeatedly reported, it raises serious questions about preventative maintenance and accountability. Other guests and I have personally brought these concerns to the attention of both campground management and Blue Water, yet our warnings have seemingly been ignored. Rather than taking meaningful action to address these known hazards, management continues to disregard the potential consequences. My greatest concern is that the next falling treetop won't just damage property--it will seriously injure or kill someone. It should not take a tragedy for campground management or its corporate representatives to recognize the seriousness of this situation. Guests should be able to enjoy their stay without worrying about preventable hazards, especially when paying premium monthly rates. This review is not simply about property damage or financial responsibility. It is about the safety of every family, child, and guest who stays at this campground. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and addresses these hazards before someone gets hurt.

With several campground options in the Lake Cumberland area, I think I found my favorite…read more Initially, I had planned on staying at Falls Creek Camp Ground which was just a few miles up the road, but after I discovered Conley Bottom was almost the same rate AND CB has full hookups, I made a last minute route here. When we pulled in, it was about to storm and almost dark. We were greeted at the store which was apparently closed. The gentleman explained that he would just come by in the morning to collect the due. He also said that there isn't any pre-booking available, everything is walk up only. Right now the rate in the first RV area is $24 per night. The rate increases for the season on 5/20/17. The second area RV section doesn't include sewer hook ups and is $4 cheaper. The second area is where the playground and dock access that leads to the marina is and seemed to currently be more popular than the first area. The views from both sections overlook the marina and beautifully picturesque. They have several large, pull through sites. We stayed in site L which was the closest one to the lake. None of the sites have lake access, but the marina is within a few minutes walk. A very important and possible deal breaker for anyone concerned about the drive there is that it is a narrow road and if you're heading in late when the boats are headed home, they take up most of the road and you practically have to pull off to allow them to pass.

It's quite a walk down the pier to the store and restaurant. There are cabins on other side of marina from Rv sites. Plenty of ramps to put boat in water. There is not a lot of signage where to go so got to ask many questions instead of someone explaining things to you. Prices are cheap right now. Average of $29 per night.

We've been to sites that were 26 min and the close were never rinsed well. The time started as soon as you hit start, but the water wasn't in. Crazy!! These machines are in great shape. We are able to get our laps in and walk our dogs out on the field track. They have a large bark park with seating. There is a pickleball court. It's is close to the highway. There are plenty of places to throw dog poo away and bags are there if you don't have any. The sites have grass for your dogs, trees or bushes, and fire pits. The staff is most friendly and helpful. We would definitely return to this site.

The sites are slightly close, but with a lot of green space. The people next to us had several tents set up and one was even placed in our site... some people just don't know proper campground manners and this isn't the first time I'd experienced that. I can't speak on the rates or the booking process, it wasn't my turn for that task. I do know that he booked it through the recreation.gov After check in, there is a sharp left turn into the row of sites. If you're rig is big, don't risk it, just go straight and enter into the site area from the back. Several sites are water front, but not really accessible to the water. The body of water isn't the lake though, it's more of the channel from the dam to Barren River Lake. The boat ramp about midway in the campground, is a great fishing spot, if the dam isn't open. Catfish are the scores, but not when we were there, while there was too much water current from the open dam. It's in the western region of Kentucky, about two and a half hours from Lexington, so I don't recommend it for a short trip from here. Glasgow is the closest larger city and that was about twenty minutes away. If you're a BBQ restaurant lover, Glasgow is your place. We passed so many, I lost count.
