I received nothing in the mail that weekend, and I waited a few extra days before contacting Tom for status. He told me he was having problems with mail. OK, but a call would have been nice, and if he had worked up an estimate he could have given it to me over the phone. Instead I was told he'd get right on it, or something to that effect. To this day, 10-11-24, I have heard nothing! Fine, if you don't want the job just say so. I contacted another electrical contractor who looked at the job one day and had a crew there 2 days later to complete it in an efficient, professional manner. I hate to use the terms efficient and professional in the same paragraph that mentions Leinster Electric, since Leinster is neither. If their Customer Service attitude is any indication of how they approach a job. Steer Clear! They do not deserve the 1 star I was forced to select.

I called Chris Baum at Espositio who had originally sold me the transfer switch, told him we were in the dark and the switch did not work. He said he would send someone out ASAP. 25 MINUTES LATER a truck shows up. The tech Alex was polite, friendly and professional. Turns out the generator was left off by the last guys to come out. He fixed the problem and tested the switch before he left. IT IS VERY RARE these days to find a company that provides such excellent and FAST service AND there was no charge for the visit.
