Being required to spend 20 -25 hours supporting RCC when my school age child only spends an hour after school is ridiculous. School are, after school families have the same requirements as full time preschool kids. That is nuts! When you don't spend the hours they send a bill at the end of the year at around $50/hr. I like the people, but the cost and parent hour requirements are out of line. I feel like we were trapped. Hopefully they will adjust parent hours to type of program in the near future. Be careful. You will spend much more money or time here than you expect.

We were looking for a smaller environment where the classrooms felt more at ease (as calm as a childcare center can be). We have been blown away by the center and their approach - our child has blossomed at the center in ways we hadn't see before. Overall, this has supported his social development and learning. Overall pros - the center maintains smaller class sizes but also stability in their teaching staff. This is consistent in that as long as the teacher isn't on vacation or out sick we consistently drop our child with the same teacher and pick up with a different teacher in his class. This has been a game changer compared to our previous experience. The only con is that since the center is smaller they don't have an app but the parents still get regular daily updates from the classroom about what the kids are doing and get tons of photos.

In fact, all the sitters we've had are responsive to email and text and are happy to confirm appointments and questions or talk about routines ahead of time. We have had the pleasure of Kendra watching our children several times now. She's done a fantastic job with a stubborn 3 year old and a 1 year old going through "stranger danger." She's great, and followed our routine instructions without any issues. She even texts us to let us know the kids went to bed or if there were any concerns along the way. Celebree Reston has a beautiful, clean and secure brand new facility. Mrs. Josephine, the owner, is a great communicator and creates a very warm and welcoming environment for children and parents. As first time parents, we were initially nervous about allowing any non-family members to care for our baby, but our daughter warmed up instantly to the caretakers at Celebree Reston. She is always happy to be there, and I can see the warmth and love that the staff have for all the children. We are so grateful to Ms. Carol and Ms. Noor for taking the best care of our baby girl. We really appreciate that there is a "plan" that parents can see for every day, which helps us to know that our child is getting the enrichment needed for healthy brain and physical development. I love that they take the children outside twice daily in their secure playground, and the app is so wonderful so that I can know what's going on with my baby while she's at daycare.
