Great place to grab a beer and some snacks! They have a pretty good selection of IPA's on draft, but they are a bit pricey and can add up quickly! It's located on a quiet street one block away from Hercules de Alameda. There's a couple tables outside but it's quite roomy inside. The food is mainly tapas style but a bit more fusion than your normal Spanish fare. We were here a few times during our month in Seville. The service was always very friendly. read more

Craft beer in Seville? Yes please! I can only attest to the beer at Hops & Dreams but let's be honest, that's why you're here. Seville seems to focus more on its wine game so this was a nice find. The long and short of it: 1. Beer. There's not a ton of great craft beer in Seville, but Hops & Dreams tries it's best to convince you otherwise. A few good IPAs, a good saison and a few strange but tasty other options convinced me to make one more trip back before we left. A must while you're here if you enjoy the craft beer scene. 2. Location. Right next to Hercules de Alameda this is the perfect place to grab either an afternoon or a pre-dinner drink. Walkable to plenty of other great bars and restaurants. 3. Price. The one downside, it can get a bit on the expensive side if you decide to throw back 3 or 4 beers (or more, I don't judge). 6 - 7 Euro per beer and you might feel it in your wallet. Still worth it for the quality, that and you won't find much similar in the area 4. Atmosphere. The space reminds me of oh so many of the Seattle craft brew spots back home. Upscale but small with plenty of import beer bottles that they've either collected themselves or been brought by patrons (even saw one of my favorite Sweetwater bottles up there). Overall it's nothing amazing, but a nice spot to grab a brew. 5. Food. Hops & Dreams offers some nibbles that we were not able to take advantage of. Just making you aware if you decide to hole up for awhile :) We didn't find a great beer game in Seville (woot wine) so Hops & Dreams gains some points for the rarity factor. Still it holds up well enough on it's own merits. Have fun exploring the city, but don't forget to "hydrate" every so often. Might as well do it here! Overall Grade: B read more

It's one of the few craft beer bars in Seville, so it pretty much gets a minimum of three stars automatically. We walked three miles to get here and enjoyed a varied selection and friendly bartender. We arrived soon after they opened for the night, but they started to fill up quickly. Definitely a worthy stop if you're tired of all the great wine and want a few good beers. read more

I cannot recommend this place enough. When I visited Spain in September, we were skeptical about coming here because we have tons of craft beer bars and breweries at home and wanted an authentic Spanish experience, but the tapas here are exceptional. We had the sliced pork loin with capers and almonds, and it was insanely good. The flavors were balanced and creative, and the pork was amazingly tender. Easily the best tapas dish we had in our 5 days in Seville. It was so good we immediately ordered another. Since we had dinner plans elsewhere and had only really come in for a drink, we didn't order any other food, but we regretted it later because this blew the other, more famous restaurant out of the water. Our beers were also great, and the bartender very friendly. The atmosphere is very nice--casual but classy. Not a dive bar by any means but also very down-to-earth. Our biggest regret in Seville is that we didn't have a full meal here despite it being minutes from our Airbnb. read more

I discovered Hops and Dreams via a Facebook group, and began to get posts. It sounded great, and turned out to be the best dinner we had during a recent vacation in Seville. Small, with fun graphics describing the beers and food items. The bartender joked around and gave us great descriptions of what was on offer. He knew his stuff, and obviously enjoys his job! We had drinks and dinner, and found everything to be absolutely delicious. A beer from Northern Spain and Spanish rose wine were two of our choices. Dinners were calamari on a flavorful couscous, fish and chips Spanish style (that meant with an aioli sauce), nested patatas bravas, Spanish potato salad with prawns, and "fiery angel" chicken wings. We would go back in a heartbeat, but it'll have to wait till our next visit! read more

We found this place by chance. Great beer selection and fantastic food. Asked for some local spots/tips and FiTi (guy working the taps/register) was a goldmine!! He went out of his way, invited my family and I to meet and chill with their group of friends and made our trip to Sevilla better than we could've planned for. Super genial!! read more

Unfortunately off the beaten path, you won't notice it if you're at the plaza but it's like a block away. Reasonable prices for beer. Tasty tapas, a little pricey for the portion but typical for the area. The interior was neat and clean too. A little quiet but I came around Siesta time. read more
