One and done place. Sat at the bar and ordered an Old Fashion. A classic drink I think a seasoned bartender would know. She even told me she haven't made it in a while. She looked it up, then made it. I had to ask for bitters and my sugar never dissolved. She told us the signature drinks were not sweet but we had to ask for water to wash it down. She made herself seem busy but there was maybe 16 patrons with at least 8 staff. I should have ordered a beer instead. We order & split a Caesar salad and the seafood pasta. The romaine lettuce was wilted and the dressing was watered down cream. The pasta had broccoli in it that tasted frozen, reheated and served with the 3 cheese sauce that was also watered down. It seem nothing at this restaurant is fresh. You would do better with a frozen Banquet dinner meal. read more

This place was.... Just OK. I'll start out by saying the service was friendly and fast. I ordered the Potato Chip Nachos. I've had better, the "baja veggies" as the topping for them is only corn and a few chilies (I think. All I could really see was the corn). Also had Bleu cheese crumbles. For $10.50 it was a small portion that I finished myself. So if u have a big party u might want to order another app. For my main meal I had the Black and Bleu burger and I chose Tater Tots as the side. The burger was really good. Like the only reason I rated them at 3 stars was because of the burger and the service. The Tater Tots were served cold. It was obvious they had been cooked much earlier and had been sitting under a lamp. Cold tots are no bueno in my book. I'd probably go back for a burger. For what I paid for my meal I could have had lobster. ($32.22 for the above mentioned items which included the incredibly overpriced appetizer). read more

By far the best drinks in KITSAP. Food is fresh, great atmosphere and I love the Iced drinks!!!

I was td that Hopjacks had great wings...didn't think so...they were good but not great...felt like you could get those anywhere...I will be back to have the full experience...I got these to go on my way home. All things considered NOT BAD read more

since it's been kind of a long week, i suggested we go out to dinner this evening. i originally wanted to go for sushi, since we haven't done that in kitsap county yet, but we were both craving greasy deliciousness. silver city sounded just about perfect, but we've already been there and i wanted to try something new, so hop jacks it was! i was skeptical about coming here because a lot of the reviews mention poor or slow service, and bad service is a pet peeve of mine, but i am happy to report that was not the case for us at all! our waitress was fast and on it. she got us beer and our appetizer lightning fast. we had ordered the blue cheese potato chip nachos, which were good, but were lacking in the blue cheese department. what would really take these to the next level would be to ditch the corn and tomato, make a blue cheese cream sauce, keep the bacon and scallions. maybe add some chive. but they were good none the less. my husband ordered the hop jack burger. he gave it a great compliment. he said it reminded him of an in-n-out burger, which coming from him is pretty much unheard of!!!!! a simple, straight forward, fresh and delicious burger. great job, hop jacks :) i had the buffalo chicken wrap with tater tots. very good! the food came out fast, looked good, tasted fresh. the service was spot on as well! read more

I've been reading the reviews and it seems to be a crap shoot this place. I'll tell you about my experience. We went here for lunch during the week. Got seated right away. I'll give our server a D. The table next to us got seated after us and had everything delivered to their table before us. He also mixed up my order and I had to wait while the rest of my table ate while they fixed it. However, my steak sandwich w/carmelized onions was fabulous so it was worth the wait! My husband's chicken sandwich was also very good. I suggest trying the potato chips...they were good. The food is pricier then other places in the area. It was an OK place and I might go back again. My sandwich was yummy! read more

I have been to happy hour several times, the service has been fabulous every time, the icy drinks are delicious, & the food has been consistently tasty. I am a big fan of the veggie black bean burger, it has red onion, pickles, & avocado, my favorite! I do ask for the Hop Jack sauce on the side, they tend to slather way too much on the bun. It is nice to have another option for dining in Silverdale. read more

I have eaten at Hop Jacks at least 5 times now so I feel like I can give a solid review. I haven't tried something and not liked it. When my parents were visiting in town recently we ordered the BBQ Chicken Quesadilla, the Mac and Cheese, one of the burgers (it had mushrooms on it), french onion soup and a entree salad. Everyone loved what they ate. The service has always been great. I ate there on Valentine's Day with my friends, their two infants, (I also had my baby girl). They were giving out flowers to every woman who came in. It was a very busy lunch hour and the server accidentally put the order of the table next to us twice. When he brought us the wrong food he quickly apologized and brought us free chips and fries. Our food came out quickly after that. The manager and server both apologized. Our meal was comped and they even sent us home with dessert to go. I understand mistakes are made and Hop Jacks handled the situation beautifully. We will be back! read more

I went to hop jacks with 6 people. The wait time wasn't too bad. The beers were huge and i loved the martinis served in ice. Yum. My hamburger was very yummy and i had a side salad. It was fresh and i was completely happy with my meal. Everyone else enjoyed the food and service. Our waiter was awesome!! Parking was the only issue at this restaurant. Ive have returned many times and have always left pleased by the service- food and drinks. read more

Hope n drops is a guaranteed good lunch! Enjoyed trying one of the beers they had on tap too. Great and fast service and hot and delicious food. They even had multiple options for vegetarians. Would definitely come here again for a casual lunch or to grab a few beers or drinks. Recommended! read more

We were hesitant about eating here after reading all the horrible reviews about the service. I'm glad to say that we were proved wrong! We were seated promptly, and our server was very attentive. The food was very good! I had the Western Burger, which was delicious. I had the house chips to go with it, which were a little bland, but the garlic ranch that came with it was delicious. My husband got fajitas with shrimp, and just raved about them! This place is definitely must try, read more

Good food and great service. The food is typical pub style and is done pretty well. Nothing fantastic, but everything I have tried has been good. Great beer selection, and ice-cold beer is their big selling point. The service is why we come back. I cannot recall ever having a bad service experience at this restaurant. I have never waited for anything at this location. Glass less than half-full? Here comes another one. Friendly, efficient - just plain good. read more

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch today served by Trenton. It was his third or fourth day waitressing. He did a really good job in spite of his learning curve. The manager was patient with him. Everything went great; the food was served timely. We especially enjoyed the quesadillas. The grilled cheese basil sandwich was also good. Give them a try. They are working very hard to get your business. read more

Yes, it's a chain. Yes, the ambiance leaves MUCH to be desired. However-- the menu is expansive and delicious. Never had ANY item disappoint-- especially the burgers. All burgers are made to order, fresh and are 100% customizable. Don't want a bun? No problem, you can go without, wrap it, or lettuce bun. Sides abounds. TONS of delicious sauces for either burgers or tots. Tons of appetizers. Huge salads. And the best bit: their drinks. I absolute adore their lemon drop, and totally understand why the 're-name' includes the drops. They make an ice shot container, sugar the rim, and make strong punches. You can get them in practically any flavor: lemon, peach, strawberry, blackberry, watermelon, etc. Yum! Best bit, not unreasonably priced. Each menu item easily averages ~$10. Not ridiculous. read more

We found this place accidentally, but we were not disappointed! I don't think I've ever had a bad thing here. I love the drops drinks. My spouse loves the beers. The Mac and cheese is phenomenal. read more

Our party of four went for dinner on Tuesday, 6 March, at about 5:00pm. We were seated right away. The staff were attentive to our needs. The Fish and Chips and the Prime Rib Dip were great. As noted by others, the large dining room is a bit noisy. Perhaps they could explore installing some sound deadening. As noted by others, the parking lot is not the best. Too bad the county allowed that parking design, but oh well... We will probably visit again. read more

The food over all was good, unfortunately there was someone's hair in my food, they did make me a new dish which was nice. Their Asian stlye ribs was great! read more

So hop jacks may not be the fancy place you want to go with dim lighting and waiters in tuxes, but every time I come here I leave happy and satisfied. The bathrooms are clean, the staff is friendly and conversational and the food is always excellent. AND if you don't like it or something is wrong they'll fix it no questions asked. This is the perfect place to come after work and unwind or just sit for hours with a friend for good conversation. They won't make you leave and will ask every so often if you need anything but are never annoying. read more

So it was my birthday and I wanted to go somewhere all my friends can have a great time and still try some of the northwestern taste. After looking around for a while and taking everyone's taste into consideration, we came across this place. I was kind of iffy at first because they would not do phone reservations. Pulled up at the restaurant and the hosts greeted me and took care of my big party and we got a table faster than any other chain restaurants. Jolynn was fast and really on her heels to attend to all of our orders and drinks. We ordered and it only took around 15 minutes to get all of our orders out. This place is different from any other places because of their drinks. Their drinks come out at 34F and the mixed drinks are in a ice cone in a glass cup. We got the spicy Asian pork ribs and spicy chicken grilled cheese, they both exceeded my expectations and to top it off the potato chips are to die for. Mini donuts are fresh out and can be a great dessert. read more

I have been here quite a few times over the years and didn't care for it much. It was a last option to get a beer when I'm staying at the hotel next door. Tried it again after seeing name change. All I have to say it, awesome! Food was literally out in 5 minutes. Got the chicken sandwich and it was amazing. Also the server Allison is A+. Amazing customer service. read more

We went on our date night away from the kids as we had never been here before. Atmosphere was outstanding and the service was great. I ordered the morning burger which was good but not great. She ordered the meatloaf. We were both very unimpressed by this as it was basically a hamburger patty with mushrooms and onions on top of it. (Had to pay extra to add the mushrooms and onions) the meatloaf was basically hamburger meat with no seasoning or sauce/gravy.The manager comped the meatloaf so we were happy the accommodated. Would definitely like to try again sometime. Salad was really good :-) read more

Food was excellent and I really liked the service. The only thing that bothered me was the beer selection. I just wish there was more than the crowd pleasing basic beers. Silverdale needs it. We ordered the mushroom burger and nachos. Hit the spot read more

We've been here a few times and Every meal ordered has been excellent. Great value for the money.

Ordered the bacon cheeseburger w/ fries. Literally the blandest burger I've ever had, and for the 1st time in my life I actually had to add salt to my burger. I'm 51 for perspective. The fries were good, but also were not seasoned in any way. Our service was fabulous! The waitress was very attentive. read more

Had a mango & huckleberry drop drinks, very good. Also ordered the beef quesadilla & blue cheese nachos, which were very tasty.

Went for happy hour. Nice enough ambience. Ordered boneless wings for $12 or so, as an appetizer; got some sliced chicken breast in a buffalo sauce. Nothing special in any way. That and two drinks ran me $30. There's just no compelling reason to go back and at these prices, there's no sense of value. read more

honestly i'm addicted to this place . i'm not a fan of eating at restaurants and usually i order to go but this place is fantastic. the dining staff checks on you without overwhelming you . and every time i've left they held the door open for me . very welcoming and the food is phenomenal! i'm trying to try out the entire menu i wish i could thank the staff by name but i love this place read more

From the moment I arrived I knew this was the place for me. With a beautiful view of the water and a nice interior its a lovely place to eat any time of day. From the bottomless lemonade to the lovely filipino cook named Christian. He is small in stature but with a personality taller than shaq. This was an awesome experience through and through. read more

We love the burgers and the special burger sauce. Everything else on the menu is hit or miss. The western burger is, by far, my favorite. If you love bbq sauce and caramelized onions this is your burger. The down side to this place is they never seem to have enough servers on for the dinner rush. It sucks seeing the serves struggle to keep up with everything while going at their max speed. The service has always been good (taking lack of servers into consideration) apart from one jerk that has been there a while now. Hispanic guy with a goatee. Unless you are a group of single ladies you probably won't get the best service. So, of course, our family of four was very uninteresting I'm sure. read more

My husband ordered a blackened blue burger cooked medium and I ordered the mac and cheese (it was one of a couple options without bacon on the menu). The burger was overly well done and lacked any seasoning. The mac and cheese was flavorless and frankly inedible. It came with a side of garlic pita bread but someone forgot to add the garlic. It is pretty consistent. The food is mediocre, nothing spectacular but better than any "quick" food restaurants. I also would say the prices are fair, not over the top and if you hit happy hour, you're in luck for a good deal on decent drink and food. I tried the Mediterranean flatbread today for the first time. I added chicken and it was great. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and food portion- I came for lunch, but that was def dinner. At 8.95 (on happy hour), it's not a bad deal. What I wasn't expecting was $3 for chicken, the flatbread is $5.95 on HH. And though I expected to pay extra for chicken, $3 seemed a little steep for lunch. Overall, I would order again and compared to other quick lunch spots in the area (Panera, for example) the price is right. My waitress however had the personality of a wet blanket and her overall interest was lack luster. If I rated my experience solely on her attitude, I would give 1 star and contemplate ever returning for lunch on a Wednesday. This is a trend I have experienced here before with the attitude of the staff and that is why I started this review out with just that; consistent. Although I will say today takes the cake on the worst interaction I've had and ever hope to have. Hop jacks: you have decent food and a variety of selection, your drinks are favored and you have an upbeat environment- hire some new people that actually WANT to be here. read more

Traveling over here looking for a place to eat. We have always had a good experience at the one closer to me. It didn't disappoint us at all. Good service, food and the beer is perfect.
