Hops n Drops - The Sour Patch - Sports Bars Near Me - Kennewick, Washington

I love hops n drops!! Our server Anissa took such good care of us! Our wings came out cold and she immediately took care of it. She recommended new specialty items that were delicious(nachos). She was so sweet and genuine, great server! read more

Hops n Drops has an awesome menu & awesome food. Any one of their burgers is outstanding but prefer the black n blu or mushroom. My husband asked for 1 when he was able to eat real food in the hospital. Their sauces & preparations are always the same. So happy I live nearby. The service has always been excellent. If your looking for a great burger this is the place! read more

I started going to Hop Jacks when they first opened. As I understand, due to some copyright name ownership, they had to change their name to Hops and Drops. It didn't change anything else. The service is still top notch and from fantastic breakfasts on the weekends to great lunches and delicious dinners, I enjoy the atmosphere and their bottomless lemonade with various fruits are amazing along with the great variety of brews. I've visited Hop Jack's on three separate occasions and I haven't been disappointed. The alcoholic drinks are great and the menu has enough variety to please a wide range of eaters. I would order everything I ate and drank again. Let's start with my most recent order: Mozzarella Sticks - Is there any question as to why I wouldn't choose mozzarella sticks? When I ordered these they had to check to see if they hadn't run out (we ate around 6:30 on a Saturday) and they came back to tell me that they just made a new batch. You can tell when they are homemade and not frozen, and these were definitely homemade. The cheese was gooey and soft, and the breading was light and crispy, but not dry and crunchy. Big Tony's BBQ Mac - This mac and cheese was awesome! It consisted of penne noodles, bbq sauce, cheese sauce, caramelized onions, bacon, mozzarella, parmesan, and topped with their carnitas. This was served with a side of garlic pita bread. The mixture of ingredients tasted great and even though it was rich, it was nice to not just have one flavor all the way through. The carnitas was tender and juicy as well. This is my second time ordering this and I would order it again! Drinks: The Sour Patch was my favorite, but I also tried the blackberry Long Island Iced Tea, mango drop, and raspberry drop. The fresh fruit was nice and all the drinks but the Long Island was served in the icicle cone. I enjoyed the icicle cone because it kept my drink cold the whole time. I took a star off because it was on the pricier side. For one appetizer, two meals, and four drinks it cost 96.50, but the quality of food was there so I will be back. read more

I just ordered a steak salad and was delivered by doordash. It was terrible. My steak was just a hamburger broken up on iceberg lettuce and romaine. It was supposed to be mixed greens. When I called the restaurant the woman on the phone argued with me that the meat could not have been hamburger. She just would not believe me. So frustrating and I would never eat there again. Last time we were actually eating at the restaurant I did order a hamburger it was raw in the middle. DO NOT GO THERE. read more

Enjoyed the food a lot. Must say the real strength was for sure their service. Absolutely spot on and I will be back.

We had the fish and chips. The fish and breading were just right with their signature fries and coleslaw. And to get a Long Island Ice Tea for $8.75 during happy hour was the best. I've always enjoyed any burger I've ever ordered. They have always been great. Definitely not a frozen patty. read more

We sat at the bar and the staff could not have been any more friendly and accommodating! Between the two of us we had a mushroom burger, the chicken Cesar salad and 2 Mansion Margaritas. All of it was great! read more

We've been checking out restaurants in the area since we've moved back to the Tri-Cities and we've eaten here twice so far. The menu has so many items to select from and everything we've tasted so far has been cooked and seasoned perfectly. A must try is the smoked pork rib tips. My husband let me taste his and they were divine. We've tried the rib tips, the triple threat chicken sandwich, the street tacos and the black & bleu burger so far and all of them were great (the chicken sandwich is messy though!) The service is friendly and everyone is quick and efficient. One thing that I especially appreciate about this restaurant is that they are sincerely keeping their diners' health and safety at the forefront. The mask rules are clearing highlighted upon entry and the servers also make it a point to remind customers that while masks can be removed while seated they *must* be worn when walking anywhere in the restaurant. They deserve kudos for being so mindful and respectful of our health and local ordinances. read more

Some reason I thought the place was a pancake joint. Oh, I was wrong. Great place to eat and have drinks. Got to love the specialty drinks and there home Brews. Watched a few football games. Bartenders are great. If in the area. You should stop by. Frankie will be back. Boom read more

Great food selection and quality. Good family environment with something for everyone.

Jalapeño burger wrapped in lettuce was delicious! Had them cook it medium rare and it turned out perfect! Tons of bacon and jalapeños. Loved it! Not a fan of the queso as it has meat in it and tasted like taco seasoning. Bone-in Wings were good.Buffalo sauce was incredibly salty, would get a different sauce next time. Chicken ranch Flatbread was mediocre. Nothing special about it and wouldn't get again. Giving five stars for service and the burger! I don't normally order burgers bc places usually over cook them but hop n drops got it right on!! :) read more

First off we were greeted pretty fast and friendly. We got sat by the gentleman did not catch his name because no one was wearing a name tags. At first our server came and got our drink orders. She asked if we wanted any appetizers and started to name off a few. My wife asked our daughter if she wanted to share mozzarella sticks my daughter was like yeah. Then the waitress was like that is one thing we are out of and that's why I didn't suggest it. (Well I have been an assistant manager and a server that's the first thing I would tell my customers if we were out of something). So we settled on the deep fried cauliflower bites. Then we ordered our food which came out pretty fast after that our server only came and checked on us once she only had three tables and stood at the one for at least five minutes my wife raised her hand to get her attention to no avail so we got up and went to the front to pay and then we left I didn't get our servers name until I looked at the receipt and her name is Tiffany. I wished I could rate the service and the food with a different star if I could would rate the food at least a three star read more

Here for a couple days and stayed in a hotel close by. All in all good place to stop in and eat. An eatery, local, people seemed to be enjoying their food around us. Bright, open, super friendly. The menu looked pretty good. I had the veggie burger and it was pretty good! Those can go tow ways. good. or bad. Rarely in between. So this would be like a 3 1/2 stars ish. Im sure there were better things on the menu but we were chatting and trying to eat a little healthier that day. ha. FOOD - Great for what we had. i would order the veggie burger again. Menu had great options. SERVICE - Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. ATMOSPHERE - Really open and bight, clean, fast, and appropriate. AS I LEFT I THOUGHT - If I am close and need a place to eat, I will come here again. Its good, safe and can hit the spot. Nothing blew me away, but good still. read more

Delicious food, place is super clean, but the wait staff took a while and weren't at the table often.

I like the service and ambiance but sometimes I'm disappointed in the food. I've had both good and fair.

The burgers have always been very good and the Mac and cheese is good too on the side. If you are ordering delivery I would skip the fries they always come undercooked. Despite this the burger keeps me coming back I just get a different side. read more

I have to be honest and say I had only been to Hops and Drops a few times prior to Covid-19. I always liked the food and drinks. It was decent American food. But I have to say I am SO impressed with their take-out experience. The website makes ordering SO easy (even for very picky and specific orders...ahem...children). The food has always been ready on time, packaged extremely well and still tastes amazing when we get home. I can't say that for many American take-out places. Highly recommend the chicken strips and burgers. Also- you can order fries and tots extra crispy! Yum! read more

Tammy is a great bartender. Outgoing, helpful and just fun. Her drinks are really good. I like the overall vibe of the place as well the food. Having visited many bars/pubs in TC's the food here is quite good, fairly priced and arrives hot. The place is clean and well lit. The happy hour looks like a good valie read more

Excellent food and service! Salads are amazing! Will definitely be going back! Great place to watch a football game...

We had a lot of fun at this joint! It is super understated from the exterior, especially next to The Rock pizza place, but it is awesome! From the name, the friendly and fun staff, to the cool beers, it was a great time! Trust me, we hit a lot of Taphouses all over the PNW, and this place was fun. It's got a pseudo sports pub vibe, but the fixtures and motif of the interior is super cool and fun! Food was good, but be aware, soup comes in smaller bowls. Also, the same staff seemed to have a fun time while we were there. The bar top is cool! So are the taps! read more

Large serving sizes, and they have a variety of options. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. It's conveniently located off of 395 and Hildebrand, and has a large parking lot. The tomato basil grilled cheese was good, as were the fries. read more

Great food and quick service! The bloody Mary's and street tacos were delicious. Give it a try!

Last three times we've been we've had awful service. I've been waiting inside for my food for a little over an hour now. Absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention having not one but two raw hamburgers the last time we were here. We used to LOVE this place & now it's just ridiculous in here. Awful costumer service as you might be able to tell since we've been waiting for our food over an hour. Don't know what happened to this place. I will no longer be recommending hops n drops to ANYONE anymore. read more

Great staff! Great food! Always a family favorite. Extremely friendly.. great environment never can go wrong with this place!

update: management took the time to listen to my feedback - thank you, I appreciate the effort! added an additional star 4 Stars for the burgers - the kaiser rolls compliment the savory patty and other condiments. solid flavors. 2 Stars for service - ordered the guacamole burger, but for some reason they gave me the Deluxe burger, and then a bacon-burger. Also, the chicken burger is listed as having bacon in it, but no bacon on it... not sure why this happened, no explanations given. good for groups, clean spacious retro modern atmosphere good variety of drinks, plenty of screens for sports read more

Horribly slow service, felt like we were interrupting when we walked in, we weren't greeted. Sat for nearly 20 min before we got dinner and drink orders taken and another 10-15 minutes before drinks finally showed up. The restaurant wasn't even busy or full as it was late sunday night. drinks were good though. We ordered nachos and bbq mac and cheese. The nachos were nothing impressive. The mac and cheese was actually really good, except for the handful of ground hamburger in it, which was weird as it should've only had pulled pork in it. read more

5/10/20 Accidentally drove all the way out to the West Richland restaurant before realizing I hit the wrong store, so I drove alllll the way back. Y'all, I was about an hour late. Awesome craft beers that are guaranteed served at 34 degrees. So ice cold there are little ice crystals in it. My only downfall is the beer here is pretty pricey compared to other places. read more

I've eaten here a few times but the last meal was pretty bad. We got fish tacos and buffalo wings. The fish tacos were truly awful. One of the fish pieces had a piece of the tough brown meat along the fish' backbone, which I spit out. I've had a couple of chicken items there where it seems like it's pressed chicken. I ordered two drinks which were mostly juice with no alcohol. If you want to eat here, stick with the burgers as those are really good. read more

Formerly HopJacks, it's not a bad place for typical comfort food, but nothing out of the ordinary. The menu hasn't changed in quite a while. The service is unquestionably the best in the Tri-Cities with the staff beyond friendly and helpful. Absolutely the best place for an ice cold beer, literally. The only reason I rated this place a 3 is because I'd like to see an occasional change in the menu options. read more

Let me start by saying I appreciate what Hop Jack's is. If you are looking to not be offended and have a completely neutral experience, this is probably a top ten spot. They seem to be extremely consistent as well. The staff is pleasant. It is a good place to gather and have some greasy apps and a drink. It is the restaurant equivalent of Toy Story 3, one of the most OK things I've experienced. The burgers are above average, and a little on the greasy side. The fries, tots, and chips all seem soft and bland. This review would be a full star higher if the side situation was a little more promising. I also appreciate that there is normally a place to sit. There are options for vegan/vegetarians. I've tried the vegie burgers and they are not bad. read more

One of the best places to eat in town. Every time the wife and I are in town we make sure to stop in. Start off with the Hawaiian sriracha shrimp, thank me later. All of their burgers are amazing. Our favorites are the teriyaki and western burger. Cooked to perfection and packed with flavors. Hop jacks also offers their own craft beer, recommend their porter. read more

When I got there they set me back in a corner area not a very comfortable corner area asked what I would like to eat I told them it didn't take long for the food to get there the tater tots a little crispy to crisp trying to fork them they just broke in half but it was tasty and the hamburger and the sauces were wonderful I'm amazed. The waitress after she explained that she had a table that move to the opposite end of the restaurant that was why it took her so long to get back to me and then she had other customers in between she's very polite very apologetic and I was pleased by time I left the restaurant I was comfortable and I only ate half my hamburger so that was very fulfilling meal read more
