Been dealing with him ever since I moved to Roseville a year and a half ago and he is by far the…read moreworst doctor I've ever had to work with. incredibly combative and dismissive, huge ego that gets bruised easily by a woman daring to ask questions that he perceives undermines his authority and expertise (even though he's been wrong 99% of the time, but he never admits to that when I come back with findings from hospitals and specialists), and he's so lazy! Just pushes you off to specialists you can't see for six months and then when you get there they're annoyed with you because he should have been handling it, apparently. He rarely even references the correct notes during our visits. He might be better for men (but I wouldn't trust his medical opinion because he states hunches as facts far too often for a medical setting) but if you're a woman LEAVE. Never anything illegal but he's a misogynist for sure. literally looks at my partner the whole time as if HE handles my medical care because I'm just a stupid woman. I've addressed that and he doesn't even apologize or course correct. The man also thinks everyone is med seeking. He has "refused" to prescribe me pain medication at every visit despite the fact that I've never once asked him for any. I have gastrointestinal issues, that isn't going to help me but he's fighting with a ghost every time about it. I don't want your pain meds, my guy. On top of that this man will blame literally anything on your weight. Liver disease? Fat. Headaches? Fat. Oh you have appendicitis that I didn't diagnose and had to be caught by the ER? FAT!!!! Lol mind you, I'm only slightly obese. This man is acting like I'm on that my 500 pound life TV show and it's the root of every illness I have. I feel like I could tell him I have a toothache and he would tell me it's because I'm fat. Meanwhile I'm in crippling pain and can barely get out of bed because of my gastro issues and he's telling me to get my fatass out of bed and get a gym membership. Yeah doc, ok. Great doctor if your overbearing and offensive grandmother died and you miss being berated by her at every family reunion. Same vibe. If you actually want help, avoid him like the plague. I've been advised by multiple hospital doctors and now two specialists to report him and change physicians and the most recent told me doctors have Yelp and I should utilize that to help others. I will be taking all of my concerns to his office and filing a report and taking it as far as I can go because he HAS been incredibly negligent with a case marked as urgent so that's enough but I do want the rest of the Roseville girlies to know to avoid this man! If you get assigned, switch before it's too late because he's going to start writing up referrals that take weeks to months and you can't change doctors without nullifying those referrals. that's the only reason I've had to deal with him for so long by my last referral is almost complete and then I'm switching ASAP.

For me the worst part was at the beginning when she started out and put the tube or whatever it was up the anus, but not too bad They numb in there and then take the biopsy's. Wasn't counting, but think it was about 8 or 10 maybe. You here a click each time she does it and I just felt a dull pain each time, more like a pinch, not at all bad. I was expecting it to be extreme, like sticking a needle in there, but not at all. The whole thing only took about 5 min. When she pulled the thing out, I said "are you done ?" and she jokingly said "yes, unless you want me to do it again ! No thanks I'm good ! I would like to say that Dr. Kim has a great bedside manner and explains everything very well. During the the procedure she makes sure you are as comfortable as possible. I would also like to thank her very kind nurse, Michelle (hope I remembered the name right), who was very helpful explaining everything and trying to make you comfortable. I'm sure there are a lot of men nervous about this procedure and I hope this helps. I definitely recommend Dr. Kim.

I called today to get scheduled for my free annual physical and Angela made a point to say "Doctor will not be filling or renewing any prescriptions or discussing and other concerns." I was assigned Dr. Roy Harris as my PCP. Although I prefer to have a female PCP, I was okay with scheduling all of my appointments with his NP Janina. She was awesome, but eventually moved out of state. I then scheduled with NP Wendy and was happy for the most part with the care I received. At around the time she retired, the practice brought a female MD on board. I thought, "Great, I can finally have a female MD as my PCP!" Her profile described her as exactly the doctor I had been waiting for. When I called the office to schedule an annual physical with her, I was told NO because Dr. Harris was my PCP. I told the scheduler that I was not comfortable with a male performing a physical and asked to change my PCP to Dr. Michelle Do. I was told that had to be "approved" by someone named Cynthia in the office and I would receive a call back later that day. While awaiting the call back (which never happened), I started reading reviews online and was appalled by the multiple negative reviews of Dr. Harris specifically. At that point, I was not just uncomfortable with having a male PCP, but with him being my PCP. It took two more calls to the office that week to ultimately be told by Cynthia that I could NOT change my PCP assignment. It did not matter to her that in 10 years, I had never had one appointment with him or that I was completely uncomfortable with him. She claimed the practice has a policy about switching doctors. When I asked for the policy via my patient portal, she admitted that there was nothing in writing. Anyone in health care knows that if it is not in writing, then it doesn't exist. She was incredibly rude and dismissive. By the end of my phone call, the scheduler Roberta and Queen Cynthia confirmed the following: If I were a brand new patient, then I could choose Dr. Do as my PCP. Because I was already a patient, I no longer had a choice. (Whichever PCP a patient starts with is who they are stuck with.) If I wanted an annual physical with a female, then I could schedule with a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant. The female MD in their office was not a choice for me simply because my assigned PCP was Dr. Harris. Their supposed "policy" of not allowing patients to change their PCP is completely disrespectful. Brand new patients have a choice but established patients do not. Their website claims to "deliver personalized health care" and that their "philosophy is to provide individualized care", yet they will not allow patients to have a say in who provides their care. Horrible business model.
