I wanted to write this review to dilute the effect of one reviewer who called him a "butcher". Dr. Woodcock and his staff really took care of me. They sent in all of my pre-op work to my insurance and the nurses were really patient and friendly when I kept calling back with questions about my coverage. When the pre-op came back from my insurance they called me immediately and kept trying to get ahold of me (I usually couldn't answer because they tended to call when I was working) to discuss it. I came in very nervous the day of my appointment and everyone was really nice. My nurse Becky was great, very helpful and comforted me a lot, because I was terrified. I got the nitrous oxide, then the anesthesia, after you're asleep they numb your mouth with Novacaine. Dr. Woodcock was cracking jokes for my benefit while they were getting me ready to go. All I remember after the anesthesia was my mouth being stretched open, and someone putting a towel or something over my eyes, which was MUCH APPRECIATED. It was just like going to sleep. They don't put you out completely here, they call it more like a "twilight zone", and that some people remember some things, but most don't remember anything. When I woke up I actually thought that they hadn't even started yet, it was so quick and I was so out of it. The nurses told me that I talked a lot, which is pretty funny but I don't remember any of that. Dr. Woodcock told me it only took about thirty minutes. They called my boyfriend for me and gave me my post-op instructions while we waited. Dr Woodcock told my boyfriend that his orders were for him to go get me a milkshake immediately. Then they gave me my teeth, and Becky and boyfriend both walked me out to the car. I really appreciated how they truly take care of you here. After I got home I was pretty miserable, the gauze was disgusting when I took it out to drink my shake and take my pills. I fell asleep and when I woke up I was in some pain but not too much. I never had to put the gauze back in. Dr Woodcock did a really great job on me, I have very little swelling, considering I had all four teeth taken out, and I have fair skin that bruises easily. I haven't bled at all since the first day. Overall the experience was much much better than I expected. I was expecting hell and misery and I got a little misery but nothing more than that. I thank Dr. Woodcock and his wonderful nurses for making this experience the best it could be. As a side note, Dr. Woodcock is also an anesthesiologist, which isn't common among oral surgeons, so I wasn't worried at all about getting anesthesia in his office.

Even tho she hurt me with the X-rays it's not her fault. Then doctor Sabrina came in and right off the bat has a nasty attitude, not sure what that was about. Tell her my situation and she goes over everything needed in my entire mouth. That's great and all but I'm here for a single toothache so I ask what the plan is, what can be done today to get me out of pain. In short...nothing. Ok so when? A month plus lol What a joke. Left in more pain than i had been dealing with for the past 2 weeks and have to wait another month before getting any relief. Unprofessional, incompetent and down right rude doctor. They are also using my husband as their personal little cash cow. They don't care at all for you. Thats evident right off the bat when on the phone to schedule the appointment. Before ever asking me what's going on or how I'm feeling, the receptionist goes straight to insurance info. She asked for my insurance information before my name FFs. Your only job is to provide a service. A service that the client needs, not a service of your choosing. If I had come in with no specific issue I understand they want X-rays to establish a baseline and get you started as a client. But I wasn't there to chit chat and make the doctor's car payment for the month. I was there for a specific issue that needed immediate attention. She sent me home with an infected tooth that she ignored. Horrible doctor! If I wasn't able to mitigate the infection myself and it had spread doctor Sabrina and I would be in court or worse.

I remember the sounds of screeching birds (that was actually sound from a high-pitched whine caused by the drill). I'm glad the dentists I see now do not use those tools. The other thing I detest is that bright overhead lights. I may have watched too many sci-fi movies because those lights look like an alien space ship hovering over my head. However, my fears were dispelled when I saw Dr. Franklin. He was kind and gentle, answered my questions and spent a good amount of time with me. I went to Dr. Franklin for a second opinion. The good doctor allayed my fears of the work prescribed by the other dentist that I saw. He explained in detail the pros and cons of dental work, and the time to get the work done. After a thorough examination, Dr. Franklin said I have a gentle bite. Overall, I've had nothing by superb assistance from this office - from Sierra, at the front desk, to Grace, who took the Digital 3D X-Rays. He corrected the problem and was very easy to get a hold of. He communicates directly with you via text and has staff available in town if he can't.
