I will be taking my business to Yealy Eye Care from now on. I ordered new lenses to be put in my old frames that I had previously bought from Hope's, they said no problem. I received the call that the lenses were in. After sitting in the waiting room a half hour I was told they were having difficulty installing the one lens, I waited another 1/2 hour before being told they wanted to send everything (lenses and frame) to be buffed to fit. After explaining I had no back up pair of glasses, the staff said I barely had a script and should be fine without glasses, (not what the Dr said). I declined, they ended up sending a drawing along with the lense that didn't fit back, Im now wearing the glasses with one new lens and one old one. Almost three weeks later I finally got my glasses with lenses after repeatedly calling and asking for my money back. read more

LIFE CHANGING - I have worn glasses and contacts for many years. About 10 years ago, I was given a new prescription for both and I knew it wasn't what it should be. I've seen 7 eye doctors since then and no one ever got it right. I started thinking that I wouldn't be able to see as clear as I once could ever again. I had to stop wearing contacts because they were blurry, reading road names and other signage was almost impossible unless I was on top of it and my eye were always fatigued by the end of the day. I decided to try again with someone new, which is what led me to Dr. Hope. Life changing is not an exaggeration. I explained my concerns and he had them figured out in just a few minutes. I had been wearing the wrong prescription for years. I left there wearing a pair of contacts.. first time in several years. I walked out into the parking lot and actually started crying (thank goodness for sunglasses) because for the first time in over a decade, I could read all of the signs. It might sound silly but when it's been a decade of not seeing clearly and suddenly you can, it's overwhelming, validating, and even frustrating that I've been living with poor vision and it could have been fixed. Not sure about the bad reviews here... I've always had a pleasant experience here. Nice staff looking to help. I know the Dr has thrown me a bone a few times as well, not necessarily charging me for things he easily could have. I now drive from a county away to continue coming here. read more

Most unprofessional doctor I encountered in my life. Not only do they act like it is above them for management to call you back when you have a problem but Dr Hope himself speaks poorly of his peers. I couldn't believe the content that came out of his mouth and the blaim he placed on a local, well respected doctor. He actually got in a screaming match with me when I tried to discuss a reoccuring, well documented problem. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER will I go back!!! Between the doctor and his trophy wife, (the office manager who is NEVER available), and their fancy showroom it's obviously all about the money and not about the patient. read more

We are so impressed with Hope! We are from out of town and were looking to replace lenses in two pairs of glasses. They were unable to fulfill our need because they would have to send the lenses out. Instead of simply indicating they could not help, they went out of their way to suggest LensCrafters at a nearby mall. They went even further to call LensCrafters to be sure they were able to meet our needs. We are only sorry we were unable to give our business to Hope. read more

On May 9th, I ordered $599.92 worth contacts with Hope's Vision with understanding that I would receive a $100 rebate with manufacturer via a phone call with customer service agent at Hope's Vision. I received my receipt and the information regarding the rebate in the mail on May 11th and noticed that the rebate was for only $25 so I promptly contacted Hope's Vision and cancelled my order prior to ever receiving them. At that time, I also requested a copy of my prescription mailed to me. It should be noted that I still have yet to receive a copy of my prescription in the mail. On May 16th, I went into Hope's Vision to pick up a copy of my prescription which they claimed was "in the mail." I was then given the wrong prescription not once but at least 3 times that very day requiring me to personally visit Hope's Vision as well as call Hope's Vision several times from Costco and have Hope's Vision fax info to Costco several times in order to fill my correct prescription. I also confirmed that my refund was being processed accordingly both in person at Hope's Vision and then later on the phone that very day. Both times I was told my refund is being processed at once and I should see my refund within the "next week or so." It should be noted that I even provided Hope's Vision's receptionist with my credit card info over the phone once again as requested so that Cathy could promptly process the refund on May 16th as she forget that they did not have it on file and needed it to refund me. A week later, I began calling in attempt to connect with Cathy who processes the refunds as I seriously question if she started to process the refund. It should be noted that she has yet to call me back. Instead, I received a voice message from the office's receptionist stating that Cathy has processed my refund and that it should take two weeks to process on May 27th. Now, I seriously wonder if she has the correct information to properly process the refund or if she ever did it in the first place as it is June 14th and I still I have yet to be refunded my $599.92. In the past few days, I have attempted at least 3 times to get in touch with Cathy as I have been told she is the only one who can assist me in such a matter, and I am always told that she is either "not in" or "with a patient." Each time I have left a message requesting a return call and still I get no response and I have yet to be refunded. If you desire to work with courteous and competent professionals, go elsewhere. FYI- Costco has great rates on exams and prescriptions/ contacts. read more

Around Sep 11 timeframe I had an eye exam and everything went well. The only problem I had with Total Vision was that I ordered a pair of glasses and everytime I would call or come by to inquire about my glasses I was told that they were on backorder. I never received a call as to when the glasses were going to be there. I was always the one inquiring with no results. I finally had to go somewhere else to order my glasses. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially when customer service is not up to standards. To keep telling someone that " Your glasses are on back order" and never follow up or give you the courtesy of a call is unacceptable. read more

On October 10 My family and I went into Hope's Vision for eye exams for both glasses and contacts. They had a great selection of frames and the turn around time for glasses and contacts was great! Being new to the area and not having my eyes checked for a while, the staff was fun and friendly and they made my experience enjoyable. I look forward to getting my eyes checked next year and I will recommend Hope's Vision to my family and friends. read more

On October 15th I had a complete eye exam performed at Hope's Vision. The experience I had at Hope's Vision was unlike any other eye doctor's office I have been too before. The staff was excellent and Dr. Hope was very professional. The optical center is filled with stylish frames to choose from and they were willing to work with me financially since I do not have vision insurance. I purchased a complete pair of glasses along with prescription sunglasses and a year supply of contact lenses and received them within a timely manor. I would highly recommend Hope's Vision for your next eye exam. read more

Efficient. Not friendly. Office staff has never been trained in customer service. The Dr. was okay. Bill, the guy that does the frame adjustments was great! Best in the office. read more
