From the layout, music choice, and color scheme, a part of my brain was being unlocked for the first time in a long time. The waitress that seated was cool and friendly, and the same could be said with our actual waitress. Samoni was attentive and easy to talk to. The food is what you expect from a sport bar. I decided to see what the wings were about and since my phone service was down, I stopped here to get an early dinner. What a welcome!!! I open the door and am greeted with a chorus of "WELCOME TO HOOTERS!!!" I loved it. The restaurant has a bar and plenty of tables and food galore. I tend to like to try a variety of items off of a menu and take some home. I ordered the boneless chicken with teriyaki ( absolutely loved them), the burgers and fries, the chocolate mousse ( delicious and rich), cinnamon cheesecake with chocolate drizzle ( delicious), and the Pink Passion drink is so juicy! They donate a portion of sales to breast cancer research. The service is amazing here! I've been to many establishments throughout the DMV and this place is one of the top in treating customers right and very knowledgeable of their products. Trainer Ava is at the top of her game!!! Amazing personality and service from beginning to end. She takes her job seriously and is a valuable part of this establishment. The televisions and menus need a refresh. The lights outside and potholes need repaired. The homeless loiter in the lot and in the restaurant. They panhandle here which is unacceptable. The management is not doing themselves a favor in the safety of their customers and staff allowing them to hit on patrons eating their meals. Extra star for Ava watching me get to my vehicle in a dark parking lot where they are not replacing lights. I don't walk into Hooters expecting the best service, but from the numerous times I have visited here I didn't have a bad experience. Perhaps I went at a time where the restaurant wasn't packed but I always found myself coming back for the Monday/Wednesday happy hour deal. I think it's buy a wing and get a free 10 boneless wing deal that was such a great value I couldn't pass up on it. I got the 10 piece BBQ Smoked Wings and the free 10 Daytona Style Boneless Wings along side with Curly Fries. The BBQ Smoked Wings are so good and I don't know what seasoning they put on it but it is just amazing. Easily one of my favorite wings to get every time. The Daytona Styled Wings are tangy and more sweet than spicy but it has a small kick to it. It's good but I think the smoked wings can not be beaten. Fries are okay but just needs some salt. I think I should have opted for regular fries though. I think it's better to come here with a group of friends, I would not come here alone. read more

I asked for a hamburger medium well temperature, but when it arrived, the meat was overcooked, cold, dry and with crumbly texture. The fries were cold as well that tasted like cardboard when chewing. I see why Hooters locations are closing all over the country. The food isn't good anymore. I was shocked really. The wings were bland, dry and had no flavor at all. It was ridiculous. My server Mykah was excellent. I wanted to send all my food back but didn't want to get her in any trouble with her boss. Also, they let a man strung out on drugs just stand in the restaurant falling asleep while standing. It was so weird and unsafe around children and families. It just wasn't cool at all. We recently put in a LARGE pick up order for 8 people. At other wing places, our order is frequently mixed up, just wrong, or not ready when we come for it. The Hooters staff boxed each order individually and labeled each container by name. And every order was CORRECT. And the wings were meaty and delicious, of course. Upon walking in. Your greeted and everything by a woman which is a plus unlike the Baltimore location where you're greeted by a dude at hooters. The AC was clearly NOT on. Even though it was almost 92 degrees outside. This location must be trying to save on the electric bill or something. So there was almost a humid feel in the place and lack of proper cool ventilation. I sat at the bar. The table area was almost totally empty really except for a few customers. One family and two guys. Upon sitting at the bar. The bartender came over quick and took my order. She informed me that I would have to scan a QR code to order. I don't scan QR's for security reasons. So asked for a hard copy and she "basically" told me I'm SOL. Had to put up the website manually to order. The food came up quick which is never a good sign because that means they rushed the food. The buffalo shrimp which look like JUMBO shrimp on their website. Upon getting them in real-life they were small with barely any breading on them. Almost tasted like "Shake n Bake". So I just said whatever and started eating. They could've at-least been hot. These were barely warm. Either way the shrimp tasted good though. But felt ripped off on the size and even a decent amount of REAL buffalo breading. The bartender was attentive on refills though. The "Shirley Temple" was however watered-down. It's one of the easiest drinks to make and it's watered-down. Niceeeee......... The employees are very friendly. But nowhere not even 1% SOCIAL. Usually at hooters. You can socialize with the girls and just have conversation while you're eating. But at this location upon saying hello to one of the girls waiting for the food near the kitchen area. She seemed like she was in another world. So then I tried saying hello to another girl and the first thing you notice was her VERY HEAVILY DILATED EYES. Okkkkkkkkk. I'm guessing hooters is turning military where you don't speak unless spoken too. Which is bad because hooters is known for the relaxed & social environment. Here it's the complete opposite. Nowhere near SOCIAL. The girls don't come to you or even sit near you. If they are nearby. They don't even say a word. ?????? ,It's not because of C-19 or anything. Also the strangest part was the cook which you can see from the bar because of the open kitchen was looking at his phone with his gloves on and one guy in the kitchen didn't even have gloves on to begin with. Upon getting to my buddies place in Woodbridge. The Togo wings lacked any sauce and were dry as heck. Complete rip-off really. Paying over a dollar a wing for dry wings is a total rip-off Some of the wings weren't even done and were PINK in the center. SEE PICS. Just discarded everything and took it as a loss. The cheese sticks weren't bad. But they tasted exactly like the TGI FRIDAY'S sticks you get at wegmans for like six bucks. lol..... The general crowd is mainly adults. Working class really. The noise level was normal for a restaurant. The TV's were muted at the bar. The overall place was clean. But definitely lacking proper AC on a hot day. I was surprised to see relatively low score for this location. With Hooters wings on my mind, I was not deterred. I rarely do reviews of franchise restaurants because there should be few variables from one location to another. Decor, floor plan, menu, food preparation, presentation, et cetera, should all be nearly the same. Like all hooters, they had plenty of parking. Just don't miss a turn or you'll have to do it u-turn in a high traffic area. After walking in I noticed there wasn't a hostess on this busy football night and was worried this was a sign of things (under staffed, poor service, etc) to come. But I was promptly greeted by Mikayla (sp?), one of the three waitresses. Mikayla seated me in Skyla's section. What a treat. These waitresses know how to waitress! I asked for Mezcal off the digital drink menu and Skyla asked to see the menu. A waitress that asks for clarification is desired! Skyla was great. The bar seats were full but the bartender was fast. The wings? What you expect from Hooters. Big and coated with the sauce you want. Three waitresses, one bartender, and the kitchen staff handled everything well. There was 1 person at the bar & another group of 4 & one table with 2. the first thing that arrived was the cheese & pretzels, that was 2/5, they weren't warm but they were soft, The fish & chips were 3.5/5 the tarter sauce is bland. The lemon pepper wings were extremely too salty. The chicken tenders were 3/5 they were under seasoned, & the chicken tender melt sandwich was 4/5. The friends for the entire group has no salt, & seemed like there was an absence of potato. The waitress does represent hooters. We recently moved to the area and decided to try out Hooters . We came in around 11 pm. Place was mostly empty on the tables side and we were seated quickly. Our server, Bella, was great. Our drinks came out quickly and it was an average wait on the food. However, 5 minutes in to eating we saw baby mice walking all around the place. I immediately lost my appetite and called over our server. Bella and the manager were very sorry and took care of our order however the manager mentioned this has been happening for weeks and that he has asked to shut down many times but that they refuse to. I also want to note that as we were entering a customer was leaving screaming that there were rats in the restaurant. We should have left. read more

The whole place is decent but for my second time being here Jocelyn's service was not what I had the first time I was here. She literally threw my lunch on the table without announcing herself and letting me know she was putting my lunch down on the table. I'm literally the only customer that's been here since opening...yet the tomatoes are wilted, croutons are not crunchy (spoiled) and the wings taste like they were rush defrosted. I'm trying to get some chicken wings with a soda on the side. - Menus are sticky and frankly it's a hygiene issue. I can imagine seeing the result of a Lysol wipe down, yuuuck. I promptly went to the restroom to wash my hands. Obviously, I used paper towels to touch everything in the restroom. As I suspected...the restroom was a borderline biohazard. Moving on. - Staff: I am assuming, but listening to conversations around me. The people in there were either friends or regulars. Sorry, not sorry, the people and waitress were obnoxiously loud. I can't imagine they need the attention...insert sarcasm. Conversations related to "I don't know what I want to do with my life", blah, blah, blah. How about putting in an order for 20 wings, double ranch, and soda? Come on folks, nobody wants to hear your story on an empty stomach. Just do your job. Nothing more, nothing less. So, I got up and left. Here's what I'll leave the manager, general manager, or whoever manages this place. 1. I'm confident you know what the issues are. I really wanted to like this place, because I'm a big fan of this restaurant chain's hot wings. With the crunchy, breaded crust, Hooters' wings as basically the eye candy of wings. However, all of my dreams of wing perfection were dashed on the rocky shores of mediocrity and blandness. The kitchen messed up my order so that my half spicy wings and half BBQ came out all spicy with a side of BBQ sauce. The hot sauce that now drenched my wings had some heat but little flavor. And once you've drenched your wings in hot sauce, well let's just say that that is a bell you can't unring. Moreover, my dude of BBQ sauce reminded me of cheap store bought sauce; I think it would have been so much better if it had been baked into the wings. However, the worst part of my Hooters experience was the service. My wings seemed to take forever, and as nice as my waitress was, she never asked if I wanted a second beer and seemed to disappear forever. After sitting around for a good 15 minutes watch my waitress flip through a magazine at her manager's table, I was done. We ordered our meals and after making a complaint about a corporate policy, and unknown to us, Ashley went to the manager and the complaint went away. The beer was cold and the food was great. I entered the restaurant and they were not very busy but had a few customers. Maybe a third full. I stood at the hostess podium for several minutes and never saw a single waitress or host . Could see the cook though so there is that. I checked 2 personal email accounts and responded to a work email and still no one to seat me, or even acknowledge I came in. My husband wanted to try here because he's never been. I wasn't setting myself for anything greater than McDonald's quality food. I ordered the slider appetizers and my husband 10 wings. We got in before the restaurant started to get packed but by the time we left it was. There are TVs around to watch sports and you can have a high or low table. Our waitress's name was Summer she was ok, nothing to brag about. It did take a little longer I felt for food to come out. The chipotle honey wing sauce was delicious and I had 2 mini sliders the same and they were both pretty good. The curly fries are plain and not even crunchy, not even salt and pepper could help. The general tso sauce wasn't too great. When we were finished we sat about 8-10 minutes waiting on our server and when I tried to just hand her our card to check out she told us to hold on and came back a few minutes later with the bill. We visited this location for lunch at 11:55 am on a Monday. There were 10 total tables seated and seems that 2 waitresses and 1 bartender working. We observed a man who appeared to be a manager with a clipboard chatting it up with the bartender and waitresses. During the entire time we were there, he seemed to be taking inventory on that clipboard, and had no concern of what was happening in the restaurant. It took our server at least 10 minutes to acknowledge us. We ordered our drinks and food. 5 minutes later, our drinks arrived. 20 minutes later, our very simple lunch arrived. At this point, we told our server we needed to close out as we needed to get back to work. Another 5 minutes passed while the server had our credit card when she finally brought our check and credit card receipt. I asked for a to-go iced tea and she brought me a box. I did get my to-go tea. The food was good but the experience was awful. Need to either hire more servers, cooks, or a manager that actually cares about what happens in the restaurant. Decided to try this location out since I haven't been to a hooters in forever. I came in for Sunday football. It was a little warm but not unbearable. The place is packed so I can understand why it feels so warm, but they could also up the AC a little. The service was slow. Most of the girls seem pretty young so not sure how much serving experience they have. I was not impressed. I had to ask multiple times for things. I had to wait to place my order, my 10 pc wings took nearly 45mins to come out. Waitress tossed my beer before I was even finished with it (Careless and inexperienced). She basically didn't check on my the entire stay. I would give one star but the food is actually good. I think the staff could use more training for a better customer experience. This location is pretty loud during football. I don't mind it, but if you're trying to have a conversation, expect to yell. read more

I have to say I really wish I knew my servers name. She did her very best and busted her chops making sure we had great service. It was not her fault but she was the only lady on shift. with a little over 12 big tables. She was still able to provide recommendations. She was very patient with us since we were indecisive. I really appreciated her hard work that evening. As for the food...ITS HOOTERS! Still the best wings in my opinion. I got the 911 and Chipotle Honey which was amazing! I thought the Chipotle honey was going to be too sweet but no there was nice presence of spice which offset the sweetness. My lovely girlfriend ordered the shrimp. They were fried. WOW perfectly cooked! The batter was SO light. I was expecting a heavy batter more similar to the wings. That wasn't the case. Our waitress recommended I get the Whiskey Long Island. I stopped in this location due to the proximity it was to my hotel to watch some football games. The place has a ton of TV's and for the most part they are happy to change a TV to a game you want to see. It seemed they were staffed very well and we had no issues getting service right after being sat. The first night we stopped here our waitress was definitely brand new and struggled to take our order and to input it into the computer. My buddy attempted to order 3 different kinds of whiskey and was told every time they were out of it, even though we could see the bottles at the bar. Finally after he settled on something else she came back to tell him the first whiskey he tried to order they actually had. The menu is super limited I believe due to Covid so there weren't a ton of options. We got the fried pickles as an appetizer and both ordered our main course at the same time. The pickles came out decently quick and tasted great. Every time we needed another round it took awhile to get our servers attention and after she input our drinks she would go sit at the end of the bar and space off. On 3-4 occasions our drinks came up at the bar and sat for 5 mins or more. Even to the point where other servers would just grab them for us so we didn't have to wait. My garden salad was good and my buddy said his wings were good as well. Our service wasn't that great due to her being new and a complete space ghost but it didn't ruin our evening.
