This is probably one of the best Hooters I have been! Young, cheerful and energetic servers! Bartender was spot on with the drinks. Food was expected and paired well with the wide array of sports on numerous televisions. Never went without anything as our waitress was very attentive. I will definitely be back here again! Avoid this place! Seriously. An $80 brunch for two was a complete trash bin experience. We wouldn't go back for free if you paid us. Bad service and terrible drinks and food. They weren't even crowded but the service took forever and empty drinks sat for 10-15 minutes at a time. The 3 mile Island bloody mary's were complete garbage. Literally nothing but tomato juice. No rim spices or flavor other than tomato juice. Lazy bartender! The 'Hooterade' was no better. The combo app plate was the only good thing we ate and what was worth eating. Everything else was trash food. Mahi Mahi blackened sandwich were the same flavorless triangle frozen pieces you get from the grocery store. Burgers, greasy and gross. Fries were soggy and cold. To start off, my party of 8 was seated at 10 pm and received drinks and had our appetizers ordered quickly. Unfortunately it took about 40 minutes to get our appetizers and another 25 to get our food even though when the waitress took our order, she said it should be out in "about 15 minutes." One of my party ordered naked wings with Cajun rub, they came out plain. Another that was with us hasn't even gotten his 10 piece boneless wings at this point either. After already bad service they simply brought out a container of the dry rub for him to put on his wings.. this was ridiculous. Remind you the missing order hasn't come out yet either. It took another 20 minutes to get the missing order and it wasn't even right. We told the waitress it wasn't and she angrily snatched the plate off the table hitting two of the party in the arm. I asked what was with the attitude as she's the reason this is all wrong, not us. She then turned around and yelled "you know what! It's actually the kitchens fault!" and ran off. FINALLY the manager Bill comes and talks to us and isn't any help. They ended up not coming back to the table the entire time until our waitress comes back and says "your food is free. You can leave." And turned around and walked off. I do not suggest this hooters at all and this really turned me off of the whole establishment as we visit the Knoxville location often. When our food was brought out, we didn't have silverware. I had to ask for that and straws. We had to ask for refills. We had to deal with attitude from the entire staff. 0/10. Went to Hooters to watch the Falcons game. I asked the waitress if I could have the Buffalo Chicken Salad, but substitute Buffalo Shrimp instead. I explained that I do not eat chicken, and that I would be happy to pay an up charge for shrimp. The waitress said she would double check with her manager about the request. She came back and said that the manager said "No" to accommodating my request, and asked if I would like to order something else. I said "No, I will not be eating. I've worked in restaurants in the past, and there is no reason to refuse my request since I'm okay with paying an up charge." The Manager was unwilling to visit table himself, which is not cool. I was so off put by this, I called corporate to inform them about the total lack of customer service and unwillingness to accommodate a simple request. I have never written a bad review, I usually give the benefit of doubt, but this was next level terrible customer service. I must emphasize that the Waitress was very sweet and is not to blame. went in for dinner a few weeks ago. Sister in law ordered a salad that was to have chicken on it which it did. However the rest was nothing but lettuce, onion and a few croutons on it. When we complained about it, and she wanted to get som else the waitress told her that she would have to pay for it since she had ordered it. Say what? She then said she would ask the manager. He came to the table , did not acknowledge us at all, no apologies nothing. He told her to take it off the bill which she did. After being told that she would still have to pay for the salad if she wanted something new, she chose not to replace it. We came from Florida where the original Hooters came about and never had service this bad. Our wings were good but way over sauced. I travel a lot for work and I always target the Hooters for dinner. It's my favorite place to eat. I live in Chattanooga, so I always compare Chattanooga to other Hooters. This one is a hit or miss. They will either provide perfect service or piss poor service. Your to go orders are half the product compared to ordering something to eat in (IE: Sauce or ranch) when you question them they wanna be a smart ass and say "you're wrong." I will still come here because it's the only one in the area but this Hooters could make a lot more money if they provided fair and caring service more than they do. read more

This place opened right about the time I was old enough to drink and I've always been a little nostalgic about times gone by when thinking of it. Back then the wings were good, service was great, and the place was squeaky clean. No longer. We went on a whim around 8:30 one evening. We both got wings, and one order of fries to split. An hour after we ordered, the wings arrived small, cold, and incorrect. Our server's boo was in her section as well, and he was about the only guest receiving service. Both bathrooms were filthy, especially the women's I'm told. We had so much time on our hands, we had a spirited discussion on who's rest room was dirtier. I think I lost just on the grounds that I could stand and not come into contact with anything. But I digress... the place was packed, and no one else seemed to notice the service, food, and condition of the restaurant. This used to be an awesome place, they went thru some change and now they have no clue - extreme long wait times and the lack of training for the staff is pretty apparent. Usually my favorite restaurant -- but tonight changed that all. I chose this location for my birthday dinner. We were seated and no server came around for at least 10 minutes. Keep in mind, it was not unusually busy for a Friday -- plenty of tables were open. The server checked on us once in a 45 minute span. After 3 hours, 2 of waiting on our meals, 1 to eat and pay, we were given our checks (the servers first time coming by after our food was received). We looked for her multiple times to find her standing at the bar talking to coworkers and customers. Had to go to bar just to get more drinks. We were not offered a discount, no apologies for wait times, nothing. This location has really went downhill and I do not recommend. Walked in during Tennessee vs. Georgia game around end of 3rd quarter. There were plenty of seats available, yet I wasn't seated after waiting several minutes. I asked should I seat myself but was told someone will be with me. Another guy walked in behind me and was seated immediately. So I wait a few more minutes while there were plenty of waitresses and host not doing anything. Felt I was discrimated against as if I wasn't a worthy customer. I go to Hoooters several times a month, but I felt bad that I had to walk out after being a faithful customer for several years. It'll be a while before I return!! Stopped by here with a small group of friends for a little birthday celebration. The food and service were as expected. The Hooters girls all came over for the big Birthday Celebration, which especially embarrassed our friend (we liked that part best). I got the Bleu Cheese Burger, which was very good. The fries were good too. Drinks were cold and refills were brought as needed. The only issues we had was that the TV's were so loud it was hard to hear each other (and our Hooters girl), and we were seated right under the A/C vent, freezing the girls who were with our party. Visited this Hooters late at night with some friends when I was in Chat town. The food was pretty average, but Hooters will never wow you with their food anyway. Came here today on Saint Patty's DAY. Over a 30 minute wait for any food. The bartender gave us boneless wings and fries because of the wait. We dont wont sauce on the wings just on the side. The server did not greet us. I think her name was Tiffany. It was obvious she was upset about something. She let, whom I'm assuming is a friend, not pay for his food because it was his birthday. She never once asked if we wanted anything to drink. We had to wait forever to receive the food and the restaurant was not even busy. There was also a long wait to pay for the food as well. We were not even thanked for coming. She said absolutely nothing to us when we left. She even took someone else's order that came in after us first. She was absolutely rude. I had better experience. the night b4 thanksgiving my friend and I went in. we got seated right away but no waitress can to get our drink orders. we waited over five minutes and I finally have to pull the hostess aside and let her know she took our drink order and left. it took another ten before we had a waitress to take our orders. here the thing there was a lot of waitresses working that night but seems like only one was actually working the entire floor. the other waitresses was avoided our table not sure if we were just couple of girls are what. the manager was the one to deliver our food. I had the wings half were teriyaki which was horrible it looked like they just splashed teriyaki sauce on it. I had better service. as I was leaving I was looking for the manager and he wasn't around.
