Sauce on wings have gone bad. All the hot sauce bottles are missing caps. Overall terrible establishment with zero health standards. Don't ever come to this place if your looking for Hooters famous wings. Wait and go till your in a bigger city . I've had wings at a lot of nice, and not so nice, places around Charleston, but Hooters wings are the best! The chicken was so fresh and juicy. The flavors were great. The fried pickles were amazingly tangy and salty. We got takeout and the people we interacted with were all extra nice. Everything was professional from beginning to end. Went there Jan 6 2023. I give this place another chance about every 6 months. So I was seated by the host and wait a while for a waitress. Pretty much an order taker waitress arrives and takes my order. She puts the order in and immediately sits at a table that appears to be her friends. She gets up and gets my lunch and brings it to my table. She leaves to return to her table of friends and remains there for the entire time I am eating. So I finish eating and had to wait an extended time after finishing my food . She finally returned to ask if I needed my check. I paid I left. It wasn't The Hooters Experience nor is it ever in that location . It was the Waffle House experience. This particular restaurant it typically like this and as always never a manager watching the floor. I gave the girl 2 bucks for a tip. The girls in this store are apparently untrained and have no leadership and probably are curious why tips are low. read more

I don't often leave bad reviews but my experience at this restaurant was truly disappointing. It took about 10 minutes for our server to come around and ask for drinks. When she returned with our drinks she spilled half a soda all over my shirt and pants and shoes and my phone (thank god that was okay, it's two weeks old and cost $$$). No big deal, stuff happens. I drink my soda and it's soda water, the syrup was out. Okay, that happens whatever. We order our appetizer and the wrong appetizer comes out. Alright, I might've been confusing when ordering so that's cool and we got the right one quickly. We got our mains relatively quickly after we put our order in as well. All the food was as expected, which is why I gave one star. Someone in my party asked for a knife. The knife the waitress got us was dirty. Not just smudged, but with actual food debris on it. We told her and she took it back to her server corner and looked through the other knives, found one, then started wiping it off. She brought the knife back to the table and I absolutely couldn't believe it... the knife was still dirty with food debris on it! Things happen with food orders, spills happen, but this grossed me out so bad I lost my appetite. I don't know how the other people in my party kept eating. I started looking around and the rest of the place started looking pretty dirty. I'm not a picky person, I love hole in the wall places but it just felt icky. I was in the area again so I decided to go back and visit this Hooters. This time the Hooters Girls were much more customer oriented. Not only did my server sit and carry on a conversation, several others also came by and spoke. It was "Wednesday Wingsday" which is 10 boneless wings and fries for $5.99. We ordered curb-side pickup, we waited over 10 minutes, then had to go inside to get the food. Asked for fries to be fried hard, got soggy fries instead. We threw the fries away. Trust those who Yelp regularly NOT a place for kids Haven't been to a Hooters on years. Passing through on business and wanted to see the Penn State v. Rutgers game. Wife and I went there to have a couple beers before the hockey game. Walked in and stood by hostess station not knowing if we should wait to be seated our seat ourselves. I'm not exaggerating when I say there were six waitresses standing around hostess station and not one acknowledged us. About five other servers walked by us without saying a word. We finally just sat ourselves. And we sat... and we sat... and we sat. The same six girls never left the hostess station. Another five or six walked by without so much as a nod. The place has about 1/3 of the seats occupied. We finally got up and left and again, absolutely no acknowledgment. Pretty sure we weren't wearing out invisible cloaks. read more

It goes without saying the best draw this place has so I'm going to go straight to the food. The new naked wings are better than the breaded ones. We soy some lemon pepper which were delicious. And some of the spicy garlic. They were rated as the second hottest on the menu. On the first bite you notice almost no heat. I was disappointed at first. However by the 3 rd one my noise was running. Very good surprise but still not amazingly hot to me. Then I had the chili cheese fries. They were good but not great. The chili has really good flavor. At 45 minute til the place closed on a Thursday night, and as a regular was rushed away from the pool table and my group was even accused of bringing in a bottle of cheap liquor...both bartenders provided great service at first but as the night went on both bartenders became aggrivated and even had the audacity to let another group play a game of pool but then when my group asked to start another game we were denied. One of the bartenders even began to compare their job to my friends and I and at that point we sat there speechless.I understand that they wanted to close but they still had customers sitting at the bar and still proceeded to kick me and my group out!! First time here aand first time writing a review because I was happy here. I've lived so close to here and me and my wife and friends finally came her after the movies for food the other day. Service was great and so was the wing. Our server was blonde girl sidney such nice girl she was our waitress there and was so nice and kind. Good food but the bartender her name starts with an "S" she is African American worked the bar around 4:30, she got off at 5 and I over heard her and another one of her coworkers complaining about their customers and that got me upset that they would say that right in front of me, so me and my friends check was 125.00 we was gonna give her a 30$ tip until I heard that so we gave her 5$ instead. Then she came up to us and asked me what I would do if someone gave me a 5$ tip on a 125.00 tab. I found that so unprofessional she would come up to us and ask us why we didn't tip her more. I have never ever had that happen to me anywhere. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!! Management needs to get a grip. I'm one of the first people to understand everyone is understaffed and overworked. We are always expecting that now. Clearly they are under new management and the manager favors the kitchen staff over the faces that bring the food out. We came for lunch today and it was not a very busy time. I have no idea how this place gets regulars back. We watched not one, not 2 but 3 different servers take food back to the window only to be yelled at by the kitchen staff for various things. One of which was a server counted amount of wings before even getting it to the table and it was short a few, and the cooks straight argued with her over it. It was noticeable to everyone there. Another was because they needed blue cheese instead of ranch and they yelled at the server because they were getting what the patron had asked for. The servers are doing a great job trying to put up a face but it is CLEAR that there is a breakdown in communication there. Out of our 8 orders, 6 had something wrong with them. 1 of them the waitress put in wrong but still... 6/8 orders. Upcharged sides were not done and when they said they would get it, it never was provided for the server to bring out. The manager did take off the upcharge that we didnt get but it almost to the unknowing person looks like the girls are being put through the ringer for no reason other than the management supports the behavior and expectations of food not being met by the kitchen staff. A member of our family works ina kitchen at another restaurant so I also understand how stressful a kitchen can be, but there is no excuse for what we saw today and how much food not only at our table but others were messed up. read more

Here in Charleston on business, coworkers decided to come to Hooters for some drinks and wings. Low quality and frankly a disappointing presentation of the Hooters brand. We waited for our waitress to take drink orders for almost 25 minutes. After flagging down a waitress to ask who out waitress was, she said that she was and her name is "Kaitie". After ANOTHER waiting period, she finally came and took the drink orders.After ANOTHER WAIT period, she finally came and took our orders. Disappointed on the wait, no identifying us after we sat down. Plus side, glass and beer was cold! -VERY DISAPPOINTING! I'll go to another location next time. read more

This place used to be pretty good but tonight was horrible. The burger patties were super small compared to the bread/bun. I got the Twisted Texas melt- cheesy with grilled onions bacon and sauce. No bacon. Very very little grilled onion. Not grilled on the toast, just placed on slightly toasted bread. Husband gotta build you own burger on Texas toast.. Same tiny patties, No more Texas toast so he got a Brioche bun, not fresh. We asked for the loaded tots - supposed to be cheese, bacon, sour cream and green onions. The waitress offered to make our sides loaded tots. We each received a handful of tots soaked in some sort of cheese. No bacon, no sour cream, no green onions. The floor manager was little help. He came over, looked at the plates, went to the kitchen pass thru window and came back and said they were out of bacon. I will say, the waitress was great. Had a great time with my youngest here today. Jadah my waitress was awesome. Kept my plate full and drinks filled (that's a task in itself being that I drink a lot FAST). Stopped by the day after Christmas & after having a pretty shitty day in general. The damn transmission went out on my 2.5 hours away from home Christmas evening in the middle of nowhere (Register, GA). Paid $130 for a freaking Lyft. Anyways, me & a buddy stopped for a quick beer or 4 , which turned into the bacon wrapped wings & delicious onion rings, which turned into my absolute favorite go-to, Liquid Marijuana cocktail. My buddy and I stopped in the Northwoods location Friday night and boy was it busy! There were at least 4 birthday songs and a couple group parties but our waitress, Emily, never missed a beat! Our glasses stayed full and our orders were prepared perfectly. Even though Emily had several tables to serve, she made us feel like we were the only two there. She never slowed down and never complained. Our silly jokes were met with laughter and her every sentence began and ended with a smile. She suggested we try the grilled chicken sandwich on our next visit. So, we came back Sunday for lunch! We asked if Emily was working and to our suprise, she was! She remembered our names and asked if we would try her suggestion. We did and Emily was absolutely right! The food was amazing and her attention to detail was spot on. We plan on visiting at least weekly in the new year and will definitely bring our friends and clients along to enjoy our new favorite spot! read more

In case you may be hesitant to visit Hooters, let me assure you they have great food! I was reluctant to come here for fear of looking like a perv, but , dangit, the food is righteous! I was surprised to see that , not only do men bring their wives and girlfriends, but also their kids. It's not sleazy at all. The atmosphere is bright and friendly with outdoor seating as well. Plenty of televisions showing multiple sports of every kind. The only thing I have been disappointed in was the Chicken Fingers. Otherwise, I have been very happy with the selection. I like to get a custom built burger ; Texas Toast, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato and a side of mayo. The meat is big! For a side, it's usually curly fries. I've also been very happy with the Fish Poboy, and the Club Sandwich. The girlfriend loves the chicken wings! Service is usually good. Food comes quick, but I've been here when it took forever to get the check. It really depends on who serves you and if they are understaffed. I would not hesitate to come back. read more

Great location and super service..and most important.. great food. Simple, easy menu selections and prices. Love their wings! Can be a bit noisy since the place is not large and the waitresses get loud and carried away sometime, but I guess the male population likes that sort of thing. I noticed that if any male patrons are sitting alone, a waitress will sit down and chat with them which I'm sure is appreciated. Definitely not the best Hooters I've ever been to, but for a Friday night, they offered decent service. Normally, I wouldn't go to Hooters, since I feel like their food is sub-par and better food can be tasted elsewhere, but I was there for a birthday party. For a party of 12, we were able to get a table and some service. The server that helped us was pretty nice and helpful. There were a few times where she wasn't to be seen, but she was there mostly when we needed her. For the food, I ordered the tater tots, grilled shrimp salad with grilled chicken added, and their sweet tea. The tater tots were alright. The cheese sauce got spicy. It builds on you. For the salad, the shrimp was peppered and wasn't as spicy as the cheese. The chicken was a little dry. Their sweet tea was sweet, but didn't taste as strong as other sweet teas I've tasted. Most of the girls that work there were pretty, so besides all the TVs playing with sports, you have something else to look at. Their tables and menus were really sticky, so they could work on wiping those down way better. My left elbow was so sticky after resting it on the table even after I wiped the table many times. They offer Wi-fi, but it was so spotty. read more

This is a pretty damn good Hooters! The waitresses are super friendly, like you'd expect, the food, I think, is better than the average Hooters restaurant, and it's well laid out, so you can see most of the TVs from anywhere in the place. Probably the best part of going here is watching my son, Paxton, ruin EVERY guy's game! They're all vying for the attention of their respective Hooters girl, but they all want to sit and flirt with my six month old! Hilarious! read more

I have gone to hooters back home in Chicago and the mojitos are still the best I've ever had! TV was so loud it rattled the windows we waited about an hour for 12 wings while 6 of the staff huddled in a corner swapping something small, must have been breathe mints.
