All I can say is the lineup that was there to get orders for fish and chips was crazy It was a bit of a wait The wait was worthwhile The halibut was tender The batter crispy Chips were not as crispy but I can live with it Great spot for fish and chips and highly recommend them for a Friday fish meal

The decor is bland and again, these mom and pop shops aren't known for their decors. We are here for the food. I ordered a fish and chip and it came out fresh and piping hot. Not too burnt but very crispy. The boss lady came by to check in on us and it's nice to connect with small businesses around the corner in the neighbourhood. Her service is personable and just friendly.

Generous serving size as well as perfectly fried French fries. Meal came with delicious coleslaw & we had a gravy on the side. All of it very tasty! It's a small restaurant but has a great feel to it. Authentic is how I'd describe it. I think this is a do-over.

Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference between this and halibut which is saying a lot about fish and chips. When my food was done, I saw the cook ( a lady ) and it was the same one from my previous visits a long time ago. Oh boy, I hope they don't change as the lady cook is a keeper! I know that this place was up for sale a while back and that is why I was hesitant to come here recently. But, after seeing that the cook is the same, I will be sure to make a few more visits and into my regular rotation of take out food. To all the yelpers out there.
