The outdoor space is one of my favorite parts--string lights overhead, plenty of seating, and just an all-around laid-back atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a drink on a nice day. The drink prices were surprisingly reasonable too, which never hurts. Brooke and Daniel took great care of me and made the experience even better. Friendly service always stands out, and they definitely delivered. I ended up ordering the pulled pork pizza to take home, and that turned out to be a fantastic decision. The smoky pulled pork, tangy barbecue sauce, and generous layer of cheese all worked together perfectly. It was one of those pizzas where you keep reaching for "just one more slice." Bonus points for something a lot of places overlook: the bathrooms were spotless. Clean enough that you actually notice--and yes, they even smelled clean. The cashier tried to charge me an extra $1.29 because the root beer was in a bottle. Um, nope! I paid online and I wasn't paying anything extra. She truly didn't want to give me our sodas until the guy who ordered before me spoke up and said, "Not having root beer in the fountain isn't her problem." The fried mozzarella disappeared embarrassingly fast and earned a solid 9.3 on my unofficial stretch meter. Crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey inside, with a marinara sauce that was every bit as good as the cheese itself. The chef salad was fresh, generously loaded with toppings, and easily big enough for a meal. I honestly couldn't tell you what beer I ordered... Because what I remember most is the experience. I could have eaten my own plate of mozzarella sticks and been happy without the beef stew. I did wanna try it tho and now I know I don't like their version.
