There's the retail portion of the store, cafe, and gaming center for activities (though roped off for COVID). It's also conveniently located next to the Grapevine Convention Center if the events get too large to be held in-store. The staff are very nice, helpful, and make great drinks! I really appreciate that the drinks are reasonably priced too. You can really tell that the staff love the world of Warhammer and are delighted to share their passion with others just coming into the hobby or are already devoted fans. Other than stocking most everything Warhammer-related, there are also some exclusives and merch that just happened to only be available at this store like autographed limited first-edition books, Christmas sweaters, pins. Looks like the inventory changes quite frequently so there's regularly something new to look at with each visit. Love that they take COVID precautions seriously here; you're supposed to put whatever you touch on the center tables to be disinfected. Recommend calling ahead if you're looking to see if they have some hot item in stock as they do go quick. Also as a side note, I was imagining something massive for being the largest Warhammer store and the flagship location in the US, but it's not that big actually. Just temper your expectations - it's jampacked with lots of goodies.

The store offers players pieces to paint and play in house, other related material to review, and a historical review of Warhammer. I would have taken more pictures and videos, but it was busy, and the majority of the game stations were taken up by players. I, on the other hand, enjoyed that they had a cafe as well. I believe their coffee machine is down or something. So I opted for their "Blood for the Blood God" tea it's not too sweet and pretty refreshing for a hot, humid day. We waited to eat our cinnamon roll at home. After heating it up a bit, I enjoyed the sweet treat. It was a tad bit dry, but it was eaten. If you're a fan or just walking by, stop and check it out. You may be surprised by a hobby you never knew could pique your interest!

We got avocado toast. My husband got his with an egg; I had mine plain. He had an iced caramel latte, and I had a plain cappuccino because that's the best way for me to judge the espresso, besides ordering a straight shot. Food was okay. Did not blow me out of the water. It was decent enough to eat, but a tiny, tiny portion for the price. Somewhere around ten to eleven dollars per toast. One slice of bread, a little avocado, a couple of tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar. Was it tasty? Yes. Was it worth ten dollars? I don't think so. I bought a full sourdough loaf for ten dollars. I understand service costs and all that, but still. Coffee was actually very good, though. My cappuccino had fruity notes, very smooth. They have different roasts, which is nice. The cups and plates are really cute, and the space itself is charming. The lady working seemed very overwhelmed. The place was full, decently loud, line kept getting longer the whole time we were there. My husband didn't love his coffee, and he's usually not picky at all, so that says something. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. But if I needed a place to sit and do some work and didn't need to be on the phone, I'd probably consider it. I just think there are better places out there. Honest opinion. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not, the stars reflect that.

The staff is always really nice, and the whole place feels so welcoming. It's an older house that's been turned into a coffee shop, which gives it that cozy, homey feel. They also have two rocking chairs on the front porch, and this time they had pumpkins set up outside, making it such a cute photo opportunity! I came here for a journaling event, and the staff was kind enough to let us reserve their small room. It comfortably fit our group of 10, making it a great little spot for a creative get-together. This visit, I tried a kolache, but I'm already thinking about what to order next time. They seemed to be baking pastries while I was there, and the smell was absolutely delicious! I'll definitely have to try one with my coffee on my next visit.

I got a latte, and it didn't really stand out compared to other local spots. The cookie, though, was really good. I just wish it had been warmed up a bit. Still, I'd definitely come back, even if just for the cookie and atmosphere.
