Went to pick up a vehicle they towed and there truck broke down so never got it off the truck even two days later. Called to ask question never called back. Owner has a cyst on foot doesn't work and other guy had to take kid to doctors appt so could get my vehicle for days. read more

I have AAA, Called AAA for slide-in crash. Received call from Hook N Go LLC. I advised to tow vehicle to my house which was less than 10 miles from where it went in ditch. I was told that it had to go to their shop for assessment for insurance, I said no I want it brought to my house they stated they were "required to tow only to our shop for assessment". They then refused to give me pictures to submit, crash happen Sunday night, They provided picture on Wednesday morning and showed only very minor front bumper damage. Insurance company said go pick it up and get it off lot so we don't pay storage fee. Call Hook N Go, they staed they "cannot allow" us to drive it off lot as airbags were "partially" deployed. the airbags were not deployed, I advised this is not how airbags work, they either deploy or they don't. he stated seat belt was locked up so cannot allow us to drive off lot. I advised I would rent a car dolly to get it, he advised I would need to wait for insurance company to come with a check I said insurance told me to pay and keep reciept as they would pay me back. he advise the total due would be up to $2000!!!! for a tow and 2 days storage. They are scammers, I will never recommend them to anyone and advise to avoid at all cost. Also will be submitting a small cliams against them for taking car to their shop against my request and premission. absolutely a terrible company to work with. read more

I called progressive for roadside assistance to have my vicheal towed They gave the call to hook and go Well after talking to three different tow truck drivers since 8am its now 853pm and my car has yes to be towed And no one will return or answer calls VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UN ACCEPTABLE will never recommend this company for anything.. I locked my keys in my car at work. Didn't know till the next morning early in the morning. Of course no extra set of keys on me and I lost the clicker thingy a long long time ago. All I wanted to do was go home but I was seriously stuck at work as my keys dangled tauntingly inside the locked vehicle. A worker mentioned that my baseball bat was still sitting in the coroner of the office by the time clock maybe a good time to put it to use. I was seriously thinking maybe with a long sigh... then someone mentioned calling Hook and Go. Austin Brown came right to my rescue not a long wait either. I waited maybe 10 min for him to get there. AAA put in a request at 6 PM for a tow and we waited 5.5 hours for them to show up!! (Weather conditions were fine). Absolutely unacceptable!!!! Would never recommend this company in a million years. read more

Hook n go from Chippewa Falls did a 5 minute tow, Towed vehicle at 4:30 pm 10/23/17 and charged 399.51. For taking vehicle 3 miles. I wanted to call other company but police officer said he already had called this company. It was impossible to get a quote at that time. Called and spoke with Eli on 10/24/17. He said it is very fair price. We had a more serious situation in Eau Claire about 3 monthes ago and Chads towing charged 75.00 for 15 miles.I told Eli this and he told me to call them and tell them Thank You. They never even called to tell what they were charging. Never again. read more

Never reported to the police that that our vehicle was there and on e there tried to refuse us getting our vehicle back but they failed. We had all the correct documents. They just wanted a up grade vehicle for there crap vehicle. read more

**The review shows my location as California, but I am in Chippewa Falls.* My car was stuck in a snowbank near my home during a storm. There was no damage to the car; I just needed to be pulled out. The drivers arrived several hours later which was fine because of the bad weather. They told me they'd take care of it and return the keys to me inside when they were done. When the driver returned my keys, he said there was "a small crack in the bumper" that must have occurred when I went into the snow bank. However, when I got to the car the next morning, the front bumper was pulled away from the car and there were two major cracks on the bumper. The damage clearly occurred when the vehicle was pulled out of the snowbank. I called Eli at Hook and Go to explain the situation and ask for resolution. He asked me to text him the details and he'd get back to me in a day or two, explaining that they were very busy due to the storm (understandable). I texted him the details along with pictures of the damage; he replied saying he'd contact me in a day or two. Three weeks later I still haven't heard from him. My insurance company estimates the damage to be about $900. I will also be without my car for three days while the repairs take place. The other issue is that this tow was arranged by Progressive insurance as I pay for roadside assistance. My hope is that Progressive re-evaluates this company as a contractor so other people do not end up in a similar situation. read more

My vehicle had broken down on Thursday at around 7:00 pm. I called into my towing app and they assigned hook and go. They estimated about 2 hours for the tow (full disclosure it was some distance away). The next morning my truck was still where it broke down, I called into hook and go and the employee that I spoke with was rude and short. He said it would be picked up on Friday by 7:00 pm. Woke up Saturday morning and the truck was still there. Attempted to call them and went straight to voicemail. I wanted until 7:00 pm Saturday night and called my towing insurance. They attempted to call the company 4 times with no answer. So they canceled the invoice and assigned another company. After all this took place and another company was en-route to pick up my truck I drove past one last time and they were hooking up to it at 8:00 pm well over 48 hours after the initial call. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. read more

This was AAA call and AAA was told by hook and go one hour then it was two hours and then they said at least another three hours. That turned into two days would not ever use this service again. read more

My car broke down on the way back from work at 1:30 am in the middle nowhere during a rainstorm. My insurance company said they had a tow truck on the way and the estimated arrival time of 3:19 am. I waited until 4am I had to have my husband come and pick me up and still no tow truck so I called the guy. He was sleeping and asked where the car was I said again where it was he said his worker was out looking for it. (Didn't make sense at all because the car was parked on the side of a main highway and the insurance company pinged my exact location from my phone) He was going to contact him and get back to me. I waited until 4:25 still no call back! I called my insurance company they contacted him and he said the same thing to them. I ended up driving back out there at 6am and the car was still parked on side of the road. (20 min from my house). He finally ended up showing up with the car at 7:35 am. He said he was the owner and couldn't get ahold of his employee. I said I was very unsatisfied and he should have went and got the car the first time I called at 4am as it was already way past the time I was given yet he waited 3 and a half more hours. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are more worried about getting sleep than someone's safety who is stranded on side of the road. That's not how a tow company should operate! read more
