We loved the fish and chips here! The fish is dipped in a delicate beer batter. The fish was perfectly fried with a crispy outside and soft inside - fully cooked of course, but still moist. The fries were also yummy and you can tell they were fried right before being served to us. The tartar sauce and honey mustard were delicious as well. Tasted fresh and not filled with artificial flavors or sweeteners. Can't wait to come back especially since it's lent and we are looking for pescatarian options.

I would 100% eat here again. The food was delicious and came out very hot & fresh. Staff were friendly. My only regret was that portion sizes weren't bigger because it was so tasty haha

Really enjoyed the fried fish here!! Salty and very crispy. Hated my fries unfortunately but I just hate steak cut lol! Would definitely go back!

Beer batter cod. - looks greasy and for $17.00 the amount is not impressive

Flavor is great; greasy , wish they could spin the extra oil off. Tartar sauce is delicious. Tiny amount of chips (fries) they are good.

I'm an Oregonian who has recently relocated to the desert; it's been really difficult to separate from reliable, high quality seafood from local sources. So I'm always wary of ordering fish in a desert. We ate land locked, and I've worked in restaurants. I know the truth about the fish. The concerns I had were quickly moved aside when I smelled the kitchen: no fish scent, no grimy corners, and their oil is clearly fresh. My husband and the fish and chips and a side of hush puppies. The fish was moist, fresh, and delicious. The batter was crisp and flavorful. Chips weren't super special but the hush puppies were GREAT. They were of the larger variety with a few corn kernels and green chiles inside.

First, I have gone to this place off and on for several years. I find it a nice change of pace from the rest of the world. Second, it is a little funky, even for Albuquerque. The owners seem to want to be "Austin like." In a funny sort of way, I think it gets there. It reminds me of the All-Good Cafe in Dallas. Maybe if there was some live music ala All Good, it would seal the deal. Food was good. It was served hot. Everyone got their orders around the same time. Two in the group are vegetarians. The menu had options for them to choose from. I had the Klasic Kosmic Burger with cheese and bacon and a side salad. The salad was big enough to share or have as an entrée. The burger was a little overcooked but good. Lots of bacon!! Next time I will split the order with my wife. My wife had the fish and chips. She could not eat the whole meal and brought some home. The spudnik fries were terrific - hot with a crunchy outside. Two in the group had the afghan rice. They thought the dish was good. Beer and wine is served. Parking is easy and plentiful. The place has patio - I look forward to summer afternoons on the porch. Overall: good choice. Lot of good feedback from the Loungers.

Four stars instead of 5 because they were out of quite a few things - like fried pickles and a few other things. I got a side of sweet potato fries and they were so tasty - air fried I believe. Also got chicken wings. I almost never eat wings but because they were out of what I wanted I got the wings. They too were likely air fried. Really very good. Prices are pretty fair. Never quite busy - kind of off the beaten path location. Good parking.

Wow.... If there is ever a spot to spend your money on in Albuquerque it's this place. I never…read morereally expect much from Albuquerque food places as majority of the time it's a disappointment and waste of money. NOT THIS PLACE!!! The quality of fries you receive here are by far better than any other place, it's not your regular skinny, soggy, no flavor, no topping fries. Let's dive in to it, Atmosphere - Walking into the bang bang fries it's like walking into a hole in the wall with old school booths and a lot of history. Lighting was dim which created a great ambience something out of a John wick movie of hotel scenes. Menu options - Small options 8 items to choose from but that's the part!!! There is an option to choose to build your own fries but i do not suggest that, as Taren current creations are just freaking amazing!! We ordered the Japanese Curry and Enchie Fries , sweet potato marshmallow and were not disappointed!! Quantity / Quality / Price - Its been a long time since I have encountered a place in Albuquerque especially after COVID that is off the charts in these 3 category. Quality of the food is top notch, the raw ingredients that goes into it are not your normal cheap Walmart brand frozen fries but something similar to 5 guys fries but better!! The chicken for the Japanese curry actually tasted like chicken and not all coated in flour!! Even half way through (15min in) demolishing our food I noticed that the fries were still crispy in the middle and actually had flavor still, this will probably due to how she layered the sauce from the bottom, middle, and top portion. I must admit if you are ever sad or disappointed in spending $$$ money on food or wasting all your calories on something this won't disappoint. After everything we were still unable to finish two items for 4people. Return Date - 2-3 weeks. I rate restaurants not by stars but by when I would return to them for my next visit. You have heard of the expression I can eat this everyday but how many of us actually do so? In my books 2-3 weeks is the highest ranking I can give and be sure that I will be coming back with more friends to be trying the rest of the menu!! Albuquerque!!! One last word of advice get there before 6PM if you want to try this place because they SELL OUT QUICK!!! Or else you will have to come back to next day.

My daughter got strawberries, Nutella, bananas, and whipped cream on it. It was really good for a gluten-free crêpe. I got tacos from Flora two shrimp tacos and a root veggie taco and they were all good. All three tacos were gluten-free. I also got loaded fries from Meso Grill they had feta and Greek olives. They don't fry anything but falafel and french fries in the fryer both gluten free so there was no risk of cross contamination. My daughter got pho from Kulantro, which was gluten-free and she loved it. My sister ordered ramen from Clay Pot, which was not gluten-free she loved it too. Overall, everything was good.
