I put in an order on the app at 11 on the dot and ordered two items- a mix plate, and a katsu/chicken bbq plate. It's now almost an hour in and it's still not done... I am questioning how service can actually operate when it takes this long for two plates to be made. Meanwhile, I've slowly seen a bunch of plates come out for people who ordered in... not quite sure when they ordered, but when I arrived, no one was at the counter for a few minutes and then someone finally came along and saw my order receipt. I will say, while I love the chain, this specific location is unacceptably slow. The bbq mix plate is also almost $30 which is a hard sell, considering it's a lot cheaper currently in places like San Diego... I'm extremely disappointed and I don't like to give negative reviews, but customer service is lacking the check in that could have alleviated my frustration (since I was told the wait would be 15 minutes tops). I wouldn't recommend L&L in Annandale unless they made changes. Service is too slow, there's a lack of communication, and the meals are way too expensive. Again- I hate writing negative reviews, but time is valuable, and a fast casual place should be better equip with adequate staff with honest timelines. I am a believer of second chances, so please make this right.

Which was what they told me it was prior. I paid and receivesld my order which was not what I received previously. I expressed that it was not what I received before. I requested to have the deep fried one. I was told I would have to pay again because it was already made. I left it and left. They refused to provide the deep fried one nor a refund. Unfortunately I will have to dispute it with my card service.

They have fresh fish like tuna and salmon, generous portions, and a wide array of sauces! Best part is they also let you get as much toppings as you'd like so you can try new combinations. I got their spring mix with tuna and salmon this time, and all the toppings with spicy Korean and sesame sauce. Mondays are the best to go since they have $9 specials on regular bowls ($3 extra for fish) and usually no wait to take your order, but honestly the price is very reasonable even on other days.
