This is why we went to FE in the first place: for someone to help us figure out how to use this thing. The sales girl was SO NICE! Everyone was, but definitely shoutout to the one who helped us. All the girls in there were not working for FE when this bag came out so they knew nothing about it except the girl who helped us. Since it was slow, it was nice getting to talk to all of them. Then, I see it: a lunch bag. Since I'm pumping and always on the go, I was in the market for a lunch to store my breast pump parts and milk. I loved that the bag had a wide mouth opening and lots of convenient pockets. One reason I'm also not a FE person is the prints are too much for me. Put it this way, the only print I would kind of consider wearing is the simple fish print in black, no other colors! But the green print on the lunchbag was actually really nice. And then next thing you know, there's also a baby section as well for my son! I walked into the store not expecting to buy anything, and now I'm following FE and excited because their baby section is about to have a new drop. Having a baby changes you, I'll still thrift for my clothes, but I wouldn't mind getting my son the newest clothes from a locally owned, woman ran business. Also, I LOVE being able to text the store and reserve items, no driving all the way to find out it's not there! And the quality of the clothes is definitely there. I was referred this children's store while shopping for a rash guard swimsuit for my 8 y/o daughter…read more First off they don't open until 10:30 am so don't try and knock out your shopping early! Then they only had (2) rash guard swimsuits to choose from (in Hawaii across from the beach) I chose one...while still feeling good about my choice I was paying for it & was told that all sales are final on swimwear, I mentioned my daughter was at the hotel across the street I planned on bringing it to her and have her try it on before removing any tags to make sure it fits. The sales lady told me I should bring her in to try on first if I am not sure of her size...OK. I say OK, no worries this will be fine I'm fairly certain of her size. As she rings it up she prints a separate receipt that I needed to sign separately for her to keep at the store of me acknowledging the no return policy on swimwear, I sign it. Then she gets out a big red rubber stamp that says: "All Sales Final No Returns" for the receipt I would be taking with me and stamps it. Anyhow, as a 13 year former employee of Nordstrom I just couldn't help feeling not very happy with my whole shopping experience, and not appreciated as a buyer. I like the rash guard top and it fits...whew! I understand there are folks that take advantage of retail stores with returns and the stores are unable to return back into stock causing a loss of profit. But by setting a policy of a strict time limit and requiring all tags to still be attached is much more reasonable, and the store still able to re sell it is a win-win.

I usually gravitate toward the travel section first, then make my way over to the body wash area which is always so nicely organized. Their purses and bag charms are the cutest, and I can't resist checking out the clearance section. You can seriously hit the jackpot and find things for like $3. I also love browsing their HomeGoods section. They always have the best seasonal décor, and I try not to leave without grabbing a toy for my dog. Their selection of tough toys is actually really solid for aggressive chewers. Today's haul was actually a win. I walked out with a hand lotion, two body washes, a hair clip, a dog toy, two bags of dried dragon fruit, and a few extra accessories all for $67. I'm proud of myself because normally I'm dropping $200 to $300 without even thinking. Sometimes I really have to tell myself to just stay home or at least sit in the car a little longer before going in lol. Because once I'm inside, it's dangerous. If I want it, I got it. The only downside for me is that as a plus size girl it can be a little hard to find good options in the 3X to 4X range. Overall it's still one of my favorite places to shop. It's basically an instant serotonin boost every time I go. Also if you see Piper K. grab it. Their accessories, especially bag charms and hair pieces, are so good. Shout out to my cashier for neatly packing my pretty hair clips and wrapping it up for me. I noticed when people make an effort to take a little extra care and attention and it's much appreciated.
