We wandered in & out of shops & galleries & I am NOT a shopper & I was about to just say, "let's go back to the car so we can go back to the hotel so I can be bored in the hotel room" when I saw a CUTE messenger bag in the window. I walked inside, found a dress (super cute), a scarf (I had no idea I was so into scarves, my goodness!), some cigars (I don't even know if I can smoke them but it seems so fun right now), a few shirts, and .... S#@^. They're out of the messenger bags. Except the one on the display. I'm gonna be that person. There, I did it. The GREATEST thing about this shop is that it's in Dallas. Let me explain: all the things I found here can be found at any number of shops in the Triangle, on South Congress, 2nd Street, all over Austin in hip little boutiques. But most people in Dallas don't dress like most people in Austin. So my awesome messenger bag was only $11. The dress was $19. You get the idea. I'm not saying I will EVER drive to Dallas just to go shopping... but if I'm there again any time soon (I will be, it's basketball season!), I'm going to head back to Boomer's.
