Stopped at Honeydukes to grab some sweet treats! I decided to try the jelly beans, which were so fun, except for the earthworm-flavored one . I also tried the pumpkin pastry, which tasted just like pumpkin pie and was so good. Would definitely visit again!

Honeydukes inside Hogsmeade is a must for any sweets lover. This shop is filled with all sorts of sweets: chocolate frogs, exploding bonbons, and fudge to name a few. You can also pick up GillyWater and Pumpkin Juice here. Honeydukes is fun to visit, it does get crowded so families with a stroller or wheelchair might have a harder time getting around. The shop is on the smaller side, but the peppermint green shelf's are worth taking a look at.

It's hard to go into Honeydukes and for it not be packed with people. Maneuvering through the shop can be a challenge with the crowds- I honestly wonder about how many people some of the shops in the Wizarding Worlds can actually handle without being a hazard. That being set aside- the sweets are pretty irresistible. My boys had a list of things they wanted- chocolate frogs was one of the items, but rest assured I took a place in line for them as they navigated the people-y store to grab goodies and pass them to me. Far too people-y for me, but I took one for the team. My reward, a few goodies! Exploding bonbons (with pop rocks inside) and a chocolate frog for myself (I gave the collector card back to my son). Happy to pass my nerdum down to my kids. 5 stars for the fantasy displays of wizarding candies 3 stars for mass pandemonium 3 stars for pricing 4 stars for flavors

Exploding Bonbons~ Delicious or should I say oh SoO addicting orange & pineapple, white chocolate bonbons, have Pop Rocks inside!

What can I say about Honeydukes, other than it's amazing! I have tried my fair share of treats from here including their delectable Dark Chocolate Wand, but I must say their Exploding Bonbons takes the cake! These delicious or should I say oh soO addicting orange and pineapple, white chocolate flavored bonbons were fun to eat, thanks to the surprise Pop Rocks inside! Pick up a box your next visit to Honeydukes inside Hogsmeade and thank me later for the best 10 piece box of individual wrapped candy in Harry Potter World!! I would highly recommend muggles visit this candy shop, especially if you love the films and books as much as I do!!

"It's this sweetshop," said Ron, a dreamy look coming over his face, "where they've got everything... Pepper Imps - they make you smoke at the mouth - and great fat Chocoballs full of strawberry mousse and clotted cream, and really excellent sugar quills, which you can suck in class and just look like you're thinking what to write next." Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling Opened in 1641 by Ambrosius Flume and his wife, Honey Dukes is a candy shop in the Wizarding World in the Harry Potter books. The shop contains a secret passage that allows Harry Potter, and Fred and George Weasley to sneak back and forth from the school to Hogsmeade. At Universal Studios Orlando, it is a sweet shop in the Hogsmeade section of the park. I love how Honeydukes is decked out in pretty pastel mint and pink colors. Design inspiration was taken from the British candy stores of the 1950's. Inside you will find all of the sweets mentioned in the Harry Potter books. Enjoy Acid Pops, Fudge Flies, Sugar Quills, Chocoballs, Bertie Bott's Every-Flavour Beans, Exploding Bonbons, Cauldron Cakes, Fizzing Whizzbees, and Chocolate Frogs which contain a wizard trading card. in each box. Other candy was inspired by the Harry Potter movies like the white chocolate skulls seen in the Honeydukes scene in the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban film. The Day of the Dead skulls were created as a nod to director Alfonso Cuarón's Mexican heritage. Other more generic candies like apple rings, peach rings, orange slices, and gummy worms are dressed up by Honey Dukes packaging. Drinks like Pumpkin Juice and Gillywater are also sold along with caramel apples. chocolate skeleton's, pumpkin pasties, fudge, pretzel dipped wands, no melt ice cream, ginger newt cookies, caramels, pumpkin cakes, cupcakes, and cauldron cakes. The Chocolate Frogs were Harry Potter's favorite candy but they are always more prized for their wizard cards than the candy. My favorite is the Bertie Bott's Every-Flavour Beans but avoid the vomit at all costs. It is always cramped and crowded in Honeydukes but if you have a sweet tooth you have to stop by. If you have an interactive wand, you can cast the Revelio spell on the Chocolate Frog box in the Honeydukes window from the outside which will open the box to show a Chocolate Frog that croaks three times. Other stores selling Harry Potter themed sweets in the park include Sugar Plum's Sweet Shop and Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, both of which are in Diagon Alley.

Suga, Suga ... ohh, honey, honey.. Well, maybe not honey, but alll the sugar can certainly be found at none other than Honeydukes of Hogsmeade Village! This place takes me back, walking in feels like literally walking straight into the books (if you don't know what books I'm talking about you really need to do your research and consider your life choices)- they have so many of the candies mentioned throughout the series: peppermint toads, Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, chocolate wands and candy quills, Fizzing Whizbees, cauldron cakes, and chocolate frogs complete with a collectible famous figures card! There are many other varieties of candy to choose from, and even a wall where you can create your own bag of sugar (or as I like to call it jokingly, diabetes). Near the checkout there's a display case with lots of goodies- fudge, caramels (I'd really recommend the coffee one), cupcakes, truffles, caramel apples and some other things. If you want a sweet treat then you darn know where to go. Honeydukes has got the goods!

Chocolate Frog box earrings, so cute! Even come with gold and chocolate frogs (3 pairs of earrings in the set)

This is just a fun store for the candy lovers! Love coming here and grabbing at least one thing to go! Fizzing Whizbees are a personal favorite of mine. They also have some cute merchandise and a little bakery section. We usually grab the fudge which is very good but this time we got the pumpkin cake, it was ok but I wouldn't get it again. The frosting tasted like those orange flavored hostess cupcakes.

So much yes! To my other die-hard Potter fans - they have pretty much all of the things from the book, which I loved! (Though I'm pretty sure sugar quills aren't supposed to be brightly colored due to Ron's remark about being able to enjoy them during class...) The have peppermint toads, exploding bonbons, Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, chocolate frogs, cauldron cakes... and the list goes on and on! They also have fudge and caramel apples. Of course, buetterbeer is one of the fudge flavors. Now, of course it's all very expensive, but I feel that it's totally worth it. We tried so many things, and I think the peppermint toads were my favorite. The exploding bonbons were also quite clever and pretty good, though you do have to imaging some of the exploding parts :)

Yummy candy and sweets store located at Islands of adventure in the Harry Potter world. We got the witches hat cupcake and the cupcake in the cauldron which comes with a silicone cauldron where you can bake into again ( which explains the double price of the regular cupcake). I also enjoyed a piece of salted caramel fudge which was delicious. I think they need to figure out a better way to streamline ordering and picking up the items because we ended up with several people waiting in a tiny corner of the store for our items. Overall fun place to look around and the treats are delicious.

Have a sweet tooth? Honeydukes is the place for you! Candy, candy and even more candy awaits you. All the famous candy from the Harry Potter series is here. Chocolate frogs, Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, Chocolate Cauldrons, Fizzing Whizbees and so much more! The chocolate frogs of course come with a collectible wizard card. If you buy the chocolate frog tin, it comes with 5 cards: the 4 Hogwarts founders and Dumbledore. I also tried the cauldron cake they sell here. It comes in a reusable silicone cauldron. It was honestly not that good, but I do like the reusable cauldron. The employees are so friendly and helpful here. I recommend visiting right before you leave the park. This way, you don't have to worry about melted candy. Or you can purchase the Honeydukes cooler. It's very cute.

2020-08-24 Honey Dukes @ Hogsmeade. Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. Orlando, FL. Storefront.
    G I N.

2020-08-24 Honeydukes @ Universal's Island of Adventure. In Islands of Adventure, the scene of Harry Potter's Wizarding World is that of Hogsmeade Village. And Honeydukes is definitely the place the kids go to spend their Wizarding money of Bronze Knuts, Silver Sickles, and Golden Galleons. If you want to partake in the fun, you can exchange your Muggle dollars for Wizarding bank notes at Gringotts located in Diagon Alley just a minute's walk away. While in the Wizarding world 29 Knuts equal one Sickle, and 17 Sickles make up a Galleon, at Gringotts, they simplify the exchange to 1:1 between Muggle Dollars and Wizarding Notes. The money can be used anywhere in Hogsmeade Village and the Wizarding Village at Universal studios, but change is given back to you in Muggle dollars. Honeydukes is filled with all the items from the franchise, from chocolate frogs, to peppermint toads, to exploding bon bon's; from Bertie Bott's Every Flavor (Jelly) Beans, to Cauldron Cakes and Caramel Apples. They also carry carry an assortment of fudge and hard candies. Everyone talks about the outrageous prices of the candy in this store; the Bulk hard candy goes for $17 per pound, and a small box of jelly beans or a chocolate frog will run you $12.00+taxes. I agree that it's expensive, but it doesn't shock me. These prices actually fall in line with those at the movie theater (which we all know is also outrageously expensive) and candy sells for a little over $1 per ounce! And just like the movie theater, we still buy it to complete that movie night experience. Oh and in case you're wondering, a small square of fudge is $5, but they have a special, you can get 6 pieces for the price of 4 (if that's any consolation...) This visit, we tried some of the uniquely flavored hard candy sold in bulk. With COVID, this section is actually roped off and a worker mans the wall. You let them know how much of each you want and they fill your bag as best they can. I told them the number of pieces of each candy to test their skills, and I must say, the girl looking after me had some skills! She was only over by one candy out of my 4 different selections. We also purchased a square of the Butterbeer fudge, some Every Flavor Beans, and some sugar sticks. Total damage, $38. Yes, the place is over-priced, but you're at Universal Studios, so most people expect it... And most people will try most things at least once... so yeah, they know they gotcha, and you're going to need a pretty powerful and advanced charm to counter this one... Expecto Patronum! If you would like to experience more, come dine-with-me.yelp.com I'd love to have your company... Bon Appétit!

When I think of a candy store, I think of a place that makes me feel like a little kid again. That's Honeydukes for sure. Not only is it located on the street with all of the Harry Potter themed shops, rides, and places to eat... but pretty much everything inside is Potter themed too. From the "every flavor" jelly beans to the chocolate frogs, it's really cool to see some of the awesome looking sweets from the movie come to life. They also have a pretty remarkable bakery section too. Everything looks like it was made to be put in the films themselves. From chocolate caramel-covered apples to a cauldron-shaped chocolate cake, everything here looks too good to eat. My favorites were the assorted fudges. I tried the cookie dough fudge here and can't recommend it enough. I also tried the chocolate wand, which was just a chocolate covered pretzel rod. Nothing special. Still, the atmosphere is what you come in here for. It's just exiting to stand a look. Don't visit Islands of Adventure without stopping by this place... especially if you're craving sweets.

So much fun. I got myself some butterbeer fudge. Could have had a little more flavor, but still loved it.

The lady grabbed a fill your own bag for 14.99/lb Then we also grabbed a loaded popcorn. Mind you the HUGE line for the popcorn is only if you want to watch them make and pack it with the toppings! You can order from the cashiers in front and it'll be ready in 5-10 min. That's what we opted to do i think it was like $16!m for the popcorn. The chocolate on the popcorn solidified by time we got back to the hotel. But you know what we got kettle corn, and it was sweet and yummy mix. I kept breaking chunks of chocolate and popcorn off to eat. The have plenty of M&Ms, skitttles, freeze dried versions of candy. A little bit for everyone!

Popcorn can be ordered in their pre-made selections or you can stand in line to request your preferred toppings. I came for a caramel apple. SO disappointed when it was handed to me. Basically it was a packaged apple that I could've picked up from the grocery store. The caramel was so thin - and we noticed the "best by"'date was basically the next day so I questioned how fresh it was. Glaciers are sold here as well in 4-5 flavors.

Decor is great and they have FREE Air Hockey and video games to play while you enjoy your cool treat. They have a very large selection of mix ins as well as a good assortment of ice cream flavors too. You can get it prepared like a sunday, milkshake or a mix in (sort of like a mcflurry). The staff was super friendly and helpful to allow us to pick one of their specials or build our own. You can even get just a regular vanilla shake plain with nothing else. The price is reasonable considering they have so many options and the free games to spend time. I noticed some people were playing card games too but I am not sure if they were provided or they brought them in with them. Definitely a great place to hang and cool off.

Everything is alien inspired and the staff is so passionate about what they make. The man helping us with our order, told us that all of the ingredients are very minimally processed just to make everything taste fresh. He said the reason why he started this dessert place was he wanted to make it more of an experience, so we can savor our milkshakes fully. I think he definitely succeeded! There's ample seating with lots of retro arcade games & mini games on each table. Everything on the menu is customizable and they even have a build your own milkshake section. They also have freeze dried candy and other sweets along with lots of alien inspired things for sale. We got the THE MOTHERSHIP (VANILLA ICE CREAM DRILLED WITH CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH CEREAL AND A BROWN SUGAR CINNAMON POP-TART THEN GARNISHED WITH WHIPPED CREAM, CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH, BROWN SUGAR CINNAMON POP-TART, AND CARAMEL DRIZZLE) but I switched out the pop tarts for biscoff. We also got the build your own with coffee and strawberry cheesecake chocolate chips and cookie dough.
