We actually communicated our intentions to move our children to the Director, and she promptly sent us a ridiculous letter accusing us of spreading mistruths and informing us that we would not be able to continue to receive care until the date when we would be admitted to our next day-care. Who does this? We had not spoken any untruths. We had simply informed one family of a situation that impacted them directly. And we were told not to return to the day-care. This created a huge crisis for us requiring grandparents to fly to our rescue. I cannot explain nor excuse the extremely callous and unprofessional actions of this daycare! We are so grateful to have moved our children to Bright Horizons!

However, the director is always absent and is impossible to reach. I can't stand the older lady who randomly shows up and claims and acts like she's the boss. She treats staff members so poorly! Second, I would not recommend this childcare because in my experience the staff seemed to have no experience working with rambunctious toddlers, and they get upset easily when the child misbehaves, oh and here's the kicker, they start texting the parent for everything the child does wrong and then calls for the child to be picked up. We have all the text to prove it. Third, I sensed something not right when I went to pickup my grandson. One of the staff let me in because my grandson was sick and I had to go pick him up, that is when I walk into the classroom and seen my grandson was laying down, and I noticed the children seemed bored, and the staff sitting around just watching the kids, so sad, we have pictures the teachers sent my daughter to prove it. My grandchild looked so sad and bored. I guess that's one of the reason's why they don't let parents in to pick up the children. A few days after that my grandchild didn't want to go to daycare anymore, his excitement to go has dimmed. One evening my grandchild told my daughter and me that his teacher grabbed his arm really hard. At that point, with all that is going on in daycares, we decided to pull my grandchild out for safety reasons. Lastly, I've been told that it's been difficult to get in contact with the owner. Even my grandson's speech therapist said it was hard to get in contact with her. I was told she has other daycare sites. I hope that the owner becomes more involved with her staff and find ways that will nip this before things get worst at this daycare. My daughter and I are happy that my grandson is not going back.
