This daycare is by far one of the most excellent (if not the most excellent) home-based daycare…read more centers in the area. Alicia, who runs this small, intimate daycare, is so wonderful with all of the children, and she very quickly became a beloved member of our family. My daughter instantly warmed up to her when we came by to check out her house, the rooms, etc., and felt right at home. My daughter has been going here two days a week for almost a year now, and Alicia has always been absolutely fantastic. Her rates are fabulous, and she is one of the few that offers drop-in daycare services, flexible drop-off/pick-up times (e.g., we drop my daughter off at 11:30 one day a week, and sometimes it is a little earlier or later with no issue), and incredibly fair and competitive rates. This daycare is also licensed by the state of NY (which was very important to me) and Alicia was incredibly friendly and welcoming when I first called her last June with a 12 month old. (if you have an under 2 and you are looking for daycare, you will know why this is important. Many others in the nearby area were very rude and/or unwelcoming when I said I had an infant!) This facility has never had any violations, which is also incredibly important. All in all, I highly recommend - she is really a fantastic daycare provider, and makes it seem like it's just one of the family watching her. I couldn't be more grateful that we found this place!

This Day Care is the nicest, family type daycare that you could possibly imagine. My granddaughter…read morehad never been left with anyone who was not a family member until she attended here. She is so well loved and taken care of like a family member. It was one of the best decisions our family has made to send her here. You will not be disappointed!!! There is no where better to send your child in Dutchess County.

Avoid at all costs. Completely unhinged unprofessional people…read more Nikki/Owner and Olive/Employee/Nikki's Mother are very immature and unprofessional. We followed protocol letting them know that we would be changing schools. There was an immediate change in their demeanor and tone. They followed up by bad mouthing other local providers in an attempt to find out where we were going. Then Olive decided to only speak to our child, not the parents during pick-up/drop-offs. When we mentioned it to Nikki she acknowledged that Olive was upset that our child was leaving and would get over it soon because they had new students starting. That's right, we were apparently supposed to feel better about the blatant disrespect from her employee/mother because according to her, her mother would get over it once she had new kids to watch. She made no attempts to correct her mother's disrespectful behavior. Then they started an argument with me because they changed their minds and wanted to play chummy with me after being extremely disrespectful. I said no thanks I'll just take my child and go. The employee then reached for my child while mocking me as I asked her to leave me alone as I waited for the owner to get my child's belongings. Then they messaged my wife "I'm sorry you have to deal with him." Can you imagine paying someone to care for your child and this is what they send your spouse? They are too emotional and ignorant to understand what professionalism actually means. They are judgy and very disrespectful of other views/religions. Avoid these terrible people. Update: The owner replied with no explanation for their abhorrent and unprofessional behavior. Zero accountability. They are liars and to be avoided. 2nd update: I just received this from the owner via text: "Good afternoon Lu I just wanted to let you know that writing bad reviews about my business doesn't affect me my daycare is completely full with a wait list of 28 parents wanting to register their children with us .. I'm sorry you are still so bitter after 5 months of us dismissing your services . I pray you find peace". They are too unprofessional to understand feedback and can only fathom bragging as a response. Nothing about her mother being completely disrespectful to us with no explanation immediately after we followed the rules and informed them we were leaving. They just started drama then told lies. They are delusional immature children. Apple doesn't fall far the tree they say.
