Found out Klockwerks was close to our route to the Harley festival in Milwaukee (Klockwerks is based in Mitchell, SD). So stopped on my way and they set me up with a demo ride of different sized windshields and I got the perfect one! Plus, bought what I think is the best phone mount system on the market! Add to that the fact that they gave me a tour of the place and even the owner came out to meet us! They are a small but growing business and they do not take their customers for granted; they truly value them! The epitome of the small business American dream with great customer service.

They sent back the same windshield stating that it would work. I could tell they didn't even unwrap my packaging. I was shocked. After struggling with it for a few hours, I was finally able to get all the screws started, but the holes were clearly not aligned properly. It was extremely difficult, but I was able to secure the windshield screws based on factory specifications. Right after install, a large crack formed next to one of the screw holes. I was very careful not to over tighten the screws, and I feel the misaligned holes contributed to the issue. I notified the company and sent them pictures and told them I felt this particular windshield was defective and should be covered under their warranty. They replied stating it was my fault, and that they would not replace the windshield. The email from the company said, "that hardware cannot be tightened down at all." Their own instructions state that the screws should be tightened down based on factory specifications. So, their message to me contradicts their own instructions and clearly implies that the material they use for their windshields is fragile. This is concerning when we are talking about a motorcycle windshield. They said I could buy a new one at 50% off, but I would have to pay for shipping. Really? I felt based on how easy it cracked, it was too fragile and would not adequately protect me from rocks and debris on the highway. I asked them to simply refund me 50%, and I felt this was reasonable. But, they never responded and blew me off. Fellow riders, please be cautious when considering a windshield from Klock Werks. They look cool, but they will probably not protect you when you need it the most. They don't stand behind their product, and they probably don't ride behind it either. They also blew off the BBB regarding my formal complaint. No surprise there. Updated Review: The owners of Klock Werks contacted me personally and apologized for what happened and provided me a full refund. They indicated that there was a breakdown in communication within the company. I was very impressed with the owners, and they were very courteous and respectful.

I purchased 4 tires saved 200.00 and no bull charges like tire disposal feels, shop fees, etc. His quoted price included everything, even tax. Just can't believe why anyone would go anywhere else. I scheduled last week with someone who was just helping out at the front I called yesterday to verify and get the time of my appointment, and was told they don't do same day appointments (bring it in and take it home same day) - they accepted my appointment regardless, got me in, and now I wait and apologize to the other bikes and bikers. They were not very happy with me coming to this appointment and thinking they did same day appointments. I did not realize bike shops were any different from other shops. This is my second time to a bike shop, my last appointment took a same day- and it wasn't explained to me otherwise that these folks didn't take appointments. I would have dropped it off last week in that case. No big deal. Regardless. They've been accommodating, and I'm incredibly grateful to them for fitting me in.
