Kelly took over our project very quickly and the handoff was really smooth, which we appreciated because we were already in the middle of making a lot of decisions. She was very patient listening to what we wanted and our kitchen layout had some special requirements, so it wasn't just a standard design. She gave us a lot of useful suggestions based on her experience, but at the same time she didn't try to push us into anything and was willing to work around our ideas. She also helped us pick a countertop that matched the cabinets very well, and even gave us advice on the cabinet handles and some of the smaller details that we honestly hadn't thought much about. You can tell she has a lot of experience and a good eye for what works together. Overall the whole process was much easier because of her and we're very happy with the experience. Would definitely recommend Kelly if you're looking for help with kitchen cabinets or design.

Paul is friendly and knowledgeable, and Kennedy is always responsive, answering all my questions promptly. Andrew and Miguel were the installers, and they were friendly and polite, which made the process even easier than I expected. They were also very respectful of the space and extremely careful when moving things around the house. Their installation work was flawless. The transformation turned out exactly how I hoped. They truly brought my vision to life. I chose a greenish-gray color that complements the rest of my home, and I was going for a super modern look--they delivered exactly what I imagined. This company clearly cares about his customers, and at no point did I feel pressured. Refacing made so much sense! They can reface all the cabinets throughout the house, not just in the kitchen. That's what I did, so make sure to ask about their full home services. Since I was focused only on purchasing a vanity, I tried my best not to look at all the other products they carry, such as floor tiles, wood floors, bathroom tiles, shower fixtures, toilets, mirrors, shower doors, etc. So much to look at!! Richard helped me with my questions. He was knowledgeable and patient. He showed me comparable products around the floor then put my order together. Most items are in stock! That's great!! No need to wait for delivery. What I like about PHD is that I can purchase my products and my contractor can pick them up. I don't have to haul a vanity in my tiny car. Returns have a restocking fee. The bathroom went beyond the initial plans due to Anne's vision and knowledge. Her style is tasteful and has a European flair. Gabby, my contact at the counter, was priceless. She returned every call, shipping updates and her attention to detail steered me toward materials cohesive in design. Robert is knowledgeable on construction. He introduced ideas and explained the process, enabling me to communicate with contractors. I gained an understanding of the construction. I walked in, no appointment, felt welcomed, brought photos, measurements, and design ideas. Believe me I was a frequent visitor. Anne selected materials and created the design palette. 1. Anne worked with my measurements to select and calculate floor tile and grout. I had an existing shower accent tile. 2. Anne selected vanity finish and designed a number of drawers and size. 3. Anne selected frosty Carrina countertop for vanity, which is gorgeous and easy maintenance along with the Kohler Ladena sink. 4. The custom mirror was mounted on same finish as the vanity and hanging brackets. Great quality mirror material. 5. Gabby helped select the faucet, shower head and shower valves, all Hansgrohe. 6. Gabby wrote up purchase orders and verified all items and prices. 7. Robert shared his expertise on lighting, tile installation and doors and hardware for the existing closet. He was confident the closet and vanity matched and am so happy with the results. The team was professional, respectful and offered options of material costs, shipping fees, dates and even problem solving as the project began. The showroom displays helped to visualize the remodel. Anne's selection of vanity material, which I would have never looked at on my own, is a stunning piece. The hardware for all the plumbing is on display. The showroom floor is installed with tiles to help visualize size and layouts. They have a variety of tile selections and most of them were imported from Italy or Spain which with better quality there's less yield loss, hence you can buy less. Some of the special priced items have longer lead times, so make sure you double check with them. We didn't enjoy the process as much as with other shops because of 3 reasons. First of all, our sales contact was quite unavailable on the weekends or even Friday afternoons, so we had a hard time scheduling with her. But if you just walk in and ask for help from the front desk, they will assign someone to help. The second issue we found was the inconsistency of product introductions. We were worried about slippery tiles in the shower, our sales contact suggested us to focus on the tiles that have a special coating. The second sales person we talked to said the special coating was only for outdoor use, using the gauge lines between tiles is good enough to prevent slipping. Thirdly, after we got the quote, we couldn't place the order into the system with our contractor's discount; only that appointed sales person could do. Luckily we could get the rest of the process done via email and she sent out a link for me to make payment. If you have a Rakuten cash back app and pay online, I think you get the cash back as well.

I was originally working with a different contractor and I had concerns that they weren't going to be able to meet my needs. That is when I met Tal Braun and he took in all of the information. There was zero pressure and he was very informative and insightful. He took me to see a project that his crew was working on in SJ and when I saw the crew working I knew that they were the right company for me. The most impressive part of the process is the communication amongst the teams. Despite supply chain issues and delays, they were still able to hit all of the timelines because we had to move out of the house for the construction. I won't belabor the review, just know that you can trust Tal and his team. He was straightforward and trustworthy throughout the process. I have already referred him to several friends. If you have any doubts, drop them and go with Tal!

We had given notice to our apartment to move out in a month so that we don't bear both the mortgage and the rent together. Hence we only had a month to remodel the Kitchen so speed to completion was the highest priority for me. We did get bids from 2 other companies as well and we went with Remodel Design and Build after talking to Tal (their Project Mgr). The first thing that set them apart was the in-person time they spent in looking at the Kitchen, measuring everything, and providing detailed specifics on what needs to be done. At the end, they provided me a detailed quote on each and every line item, unlike others who lumped everything in their quote which could quickly turn into guess work. The second thing was the Time to completion. They gutted the old kitchen and fully finished the new kitchen to perfection in 3 weeks time (including permits, inspections, labor etc).. This was unbelievable and was the most important aspect for us. Nhi was our Foreman and had an excellent handle on things. He foresaw many things upfront and gave us suggestions to change or replace so that things fall well in place. As you can imagine, gutting a kitchen, replacing flooring and getting a new kitchen including all appliances installed is no small job, but Nhi and team finished everything on Time and the day we moved in is when they moved out.. Could not have asked for a better timing with my 4 yr old and old parents with me, the last thing I wanted was a dusty and noisy home. But it was well taken care of before we arrived so that we can start living. They are definitely not the cheapest out there but they are the most professional, on time, transparent and don't charge a dime beyond what was signed on the dotted line. I'm attaching photos of the old and new Kitchen.
