When I asked for a standard coffee latte, I was informed that the espresso machine was broken but if I wanted to walk all the way around the hotel to a different location they'd be happy to supply me with the cafe latte. I opted to go go for a regular coffee with room for cream. I was not offered a choice of coffee but coffee but I figured it was good in any case so no matter. I went to the condiments station to dress my coffee and was disappointed to find only creamers in the little plastic containers you find at a Loves travel stop or a Denny's... Bummer. Oh well. I still got some coffee, but truthfully it isn't much better than what I brewed in my room with the little packets. I wouldn't be such a snob about it, but we are in a high end resort and I expected better here.

We came in at 1pm on a Wednesday to only one employee working, which worried us initially since we had a party of 6 but she got to us quickly and had our food ready in under 15 minutes. Highly recommend the cheeseburger pizza. It was LOADED with toppings and the most delicious pickles I've ever tasted. My iced coffee was delicious as well. Everyone left full and happy.

Today the school I am the administrator of worked with Rasburys in Mitchell. This is a newer place…read morewho just recently moved location in town. Today we had them at the school to provide snow cones to our students. Michelle and Herb, along with their daughter and nephew, served about 400 snow cones in about 3 hours. The staff of Rasbury's was very friendly and accommodated all of our wants and needs. All employees wore latex gloves while serving our students. Not one student went away with a frown. The students had the option of Blue Rasberry, grape, strawberry, and banana. They also had a couple of sugar free flavors, one was Georgia Peach which I heard was awesome. Quick service plus lots of smiles equals a great time. At their shop on Main Street they also serve ice cream. I have not experienced it yet but when I do you can guarantee I'll do a review. They offer slushes, sundaes, banana split, cyclones (blizzards), and hand scooped cones and cups. Their ice cream is homemade and please be on the lookout for the fall flavors. They also have hotdogs, sloppy joes, cheese curds, salads, nachos, taco salad, chicken sandwiches, BLTs, walking tacos, ham and cheese, grilled cheese and chilli. The shop has a patio area that is under a pergola, so it is not fully covered. There is an adequate amount of seating available there, but it was a bit chilly out there during my visit. If you are eating at the patio, you still place you order at the window and then when it is ready, they will call your order out over the PA system. After you get your order, you can take it to-go or find a seat on the patio to enjoy your treat and/or food. The shop also has a drive through for those that do not want to leave their vehicles. I ordered a couple of slushies, a lemonade one and an apple one. They were pretty good. I ordered a couple of hot dogs and a vanilla cone for my littles. I got me a sloppy Joe. It took about 8 minutes to get my food. The frozen treats were brought out much earlier. My sloppy joe was OK. It was average, nothing special. But you should not expect much when you order food from an ice cream shop. The hot dogs were not very appealing and my son did not even finish his. I would say they were pretty average as well. The staff there was super friendly. Some of the friendliest I have experienced in a while. I recommend checking this place out to get your frozen treat fix. If you plan on getting food from here, I would just not expect much.
