Today we had them at the school to provide snow cones to our students. Michelle and Herb, along with their daughter and nephew, served about 400 snow cones in about 3 hours. The staff of Rasbury's was very friendly and accommodated all of our wants and needs. All employees wore latex gloves while serving our students. Not one student went away with a frown. The students had the option of Blue Rasberry, grape, strawberry, and banana. They also had a couple of sugar free flavors, one was Georgia Peach which I heard was awesome. Quick service plus lots of smiles equals a great time. At their shop on Main Street they also serve ice cream. I have not experienced it yet but when I do you can guarantee I'll do a review. It had been a highlight for him. And all in all, I'm so glad we listened to him. My family was able to find a good brunch. We got a table without a wait -- a bit of a surprise considering how much of a wait other resort restaurants can have. And this buffet had lots of what you would expect: bacon, eggs, pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit, drinks and made-to-order omelets and waffles. Also, I think I saw this mentioned in another review -- get the chocolate milk! I'm not sure what was special about it, but I had had like three glasses of it. It was cold and sweet and just perfect. Our server also kept the coffee flowing -- much appreciated! Especially if you have a family who has lots of opinions over what they want to eat for breakfast, this is a great option to have.

There is a wide selection of delicious local foods at excellent prices, including fruits, vegetables, meats, maple syrup, honey, baked goods, and jam preserves. Some vendors sell soaps, aprons, baskets, hand-carved spoons, and other specialty items. A few vendors sell potted plants and fresh cut flowers. There is free coffee. Everyone is very friendly. There's a tent for folk music jammers - you can join in if you're into that, or just enjoy the free music. The book tent gives a free book to kids, and they can play on the wonderful playground just feet away. The playground has 4 slides, swings, a merry-go-round, toys to sit on and ride, monkey bars, and lots of other fun equipment to climb on. This farmer's market is definitely worth checking out if you live in the area. I recommend buying some fresh peaches or a local watermelon or cantaloupe.
