Let me sum it all up this way: Excellent communication, quality, and craftsmanship! Job well done! We had temporary flooring in our house after some kitchen water damage. We had asked local online FB groups for recommendations and seen Fred's come up more than once as doing great work. I called and spoke with Michael and got some information from him. We made plans for a estimate of the job and he came out to our house. He was on time, or early and called prior to showing up. Here is where it gets good... Their prices were fair. Maybe not the cheapest, but that's ok. Cheap does not equate to great. Very fair quote. We decided to accept and paid 50 percent up front for flooring they had to order in from their nearby warehouse. Although a day late in confirming it had arrived, they Michael contacted us to let us know our materials had come in to their local shop in Murfreesboro and we made an appointment to start the work. Our family moved all the furniture out of the kitchen for them and when their crew showed up to begin work...guess who also showed up at the same time? MICHAEL! The sales person also came with the crew to inspect once again, check in with us and scope out the project once more. He inspected areas (under the dishwasher and refrigerator) he couldn't see before. He got on his knees and checked it all out. He discussed the project with the crew, said he'd be back to check in later and said goodbye. The crew got to work, tearing out sub-floor, tile backer and going to town on the demo. My ONLY constructive critique was that we were unprepared for the amount of dust...but I should have known better, Lol... Half the crew left to go pick up new sub-floor for the kitchen and the others kept working. Efficiency is their game! The project took two days, as planned and discussed. They worked late the first day to get it all done. Day two was hard work too. Now, we have new sub-floor, no more water damaged issues and they even got rid of a few squeaking floor areas that drove us nuts! Finally, when everything was done, Michael called to check in the next day. With two SMALL concerns, he came by the next day to check it out. All that was needed was a bit of silicone sealant in two areas and done. He had his guys come back out asap. HE personally was there each step of the way. Give the man a raise.... ;-) If you want dependability, honestly and a solid work ethic, give them a call... They cut ZERO corners and our floors look great!

He came out to the house right when he said he would to measure and provided a detailed quote quickly afterwards. Installation of carpet took an entire day and turned out perfectly. Their team paid attention to detail, was courteous, and did an excellent job. The next day we had a team come to install LVP on our main floor. I couldn't believe how quickly they demoed the current flooring and got the new floor installed. It was clear they knew exactly what they were doing (from a homeowner who has installed many floors myself). They even lined up the planking to be perfectly symmetrical down the main hallway. The person who they sent to install the carpet, John, arrived at my door and as soon as he stepped in my house I could smell that he reeked of marijuana. If I wasn't on a time crunch, I would have sent him packing and asked for a new installer. It was so strong that when he left to go get some supplies, my bedroom smelled like marijuana. My wife came in the room to check the progress and immediately said it smells like weed in here. After the install, I called Nationwide to let them know that it was not ok to have someone doing installs that reeked of Marijuana and it was super unprofessional. I first talked with Cameron who said he has known John for years and I probably just smelled cigarettes. I told Cameron that I had been around Marijuana in the past and I know what it smells like. He was obviously gaslighting me to cover for his buddy. I then asked to speak with the owner, since Cameron was blowing me off. I next spoke with Chris and explained the situation to him and he also tried to gaslight me and said you probably just smelled cigarettes because John is a smoker. I again explained to Chris I knew what marijuana smells like and John reeked of it. I explained to Chris it was very unprofessional to have his installer come to a job reeking of weed. Chris just apologized and said he would talk to John. Chris never said let me give you some money off the cost of the install since that was unacceptable, nope just acted like I didn't know what I smelled and made excuses. I won't be using them again!

Bowman's recommended Dun-Rite Flooring installer Ben Owens to replace and install my 77 year old…read moremothers laminate floor and replace vinyl in bathroom. He did NOT complete the job. 1st. He did not include 1/4 round trim and base boards in estimate so my mother paid additional money for 1/4 rounds and assumed that was all that was needed to finish floors. The trim did NOT match the rest of the flooring already in place in the house. 2nd He told my 77 yr old mother that he was finished and collected his money " in cash" and then told her he DOES NOT do baseboards and left half of the job of installing the trim unfinished. 3rd. When he came out and gave her the estimate he had to see there was no trim or baseboards in certain areas that had to be removed due to the water damage , did he think my 77 yr old mother was going to put the base boards on so he could then install the trim? Or was she supposed to hire someone to install just the baseboards? If he couldn't complete the job he shouldn't have accepted. Finally when Ben and your store was called and asked why my 77 year old mothers floor was not finished we were told they don't do baseboards. I Do Not Recommend either Bowman's or Ben Owens, Dun-Rite Flooring. They took advantage of a 77 year old woman and they did not stand behind their recommendation and they did not complete the job.
