I gave Jason the key to my house and he worked on the tub for 2 days while I was at work. Then he did the finishing touches on Saturday. My tub cost $100 more because he had to remove an old refinishing job. The total came to $495, but I had him put in a new drain, which brought it up to $520. It looks like new. He explained that these old tubs are actually a lot better than what you can buy new nowadays. He gives a 5-year warranty, but says it should last 15 years. He does great work, and is very conscientious and honest. He says he specializes in old claw-foot tubs, which he does in his garage. I'm SO glad I went with him and didn't try to do it myself. It would have been at least a week of hell, with poor results -- I would never have been able to remove the old finish. Instead I was only without a bathtub for 4 days (day 1, finish removal, day 2 for new finish, then 48 hours to completely cure). He explained that the materials the pros use are far superior to what you can buy at places like Home Depot.

Within about 20 minutes I had about four different carpet cleaners reach out to me with different pricing options and their available dates. It's a such an awesome feature! Oxi Fresh Carpet cleaning had one of the best prices and they were available on the day we needed them. They kept us updated with the service date via text and email, which was a great reminder during this busy time. They did an awesome job and were done in about an hour and a half. The thing I love about Oxi cleaners is they don't use foamy shampoos to clean the carpets. So the carpets are dry within about 30 to 45 minutes. This way you're not waiting around for hours for your carpet to dry. We've used other carpet cleaners In the past that do the deep cleaning with shampoo and yes, maybe the carpets do look a little cleaner, but not by much. My driveway has the aggregate showing so after learning how to do this and per suggestion from what we read, I called SRM back to let them know what I was doing. They knew exactly what type of aggregate to use. Truck arrived within 10 minutes of schedule. The driver was patient with us and poured where the concrete was needed. When we were spreading the concrete w/scree board, he climbed out of the truck, grabbed a rake, and helped us. Driveway addition looks great & matches existing driveway. I'm very pleased with the experience I had with SRM!
