Prices were very upfront and honest (I didn't feel like I was being taken for a ride). On the day of packing, Peyton, Brandon and Chase arrived. All three of them were a breath of fresh air. I was stressed, tired and anxious the night before and then the three of them arrived the next morning. All three of them were cheerful, friendly, and lovely. They approached the (not-so-fun) task of packing up a house with a refreshing energy that I didn't realize I needed. They were even kind enough to be sweet and talk to and answer questions for my impossibly outgoing five-year-old who (according to her) was "not bothering the movers, Mom! I emailed back and forth with owners Robert and Angela to narrow down specifics, and they were helpful and prompt with each response. I received email reminders leading up to our move, and a phone call the morning of our move when the truck was 15 minutes out. Robert and Robert (or Rob and Bert!) arrived right on time and ready to work. They did a quick walk-thru of the space with us, where we identified which items were going where (we had to stop at a storage unit before the home we were moving into). After that, they packaged all of our items with care, and safely loaded everything onto the truck! It took around four hours to complete our move, and at around $800 total, it was well worth the price. The two Roberts were friendly, professional, and fast while still moving larger pieces carefully. They damaged my belongings and put my mattress in my storage unit last so I couldn't access it without it falling on me when I opened the door. After 5 separate calls, the price changed 3 times and the deposit required was more than the amount of the quote I was given for the work. I asked for my deposit to be cancelled along with the appointment, more than 24 hours in advance. Put me on hold numerous times and said I had to talk to a supervisor to cancel. But couldn't get one on thr phone. I ended up disputing with my bank. I cant recommend this place based on my personal experience.

Absolutely Terrible Experience - Shockingly Different From Last Year…read more I used this company a year ago and had a great experience, which is the only reason I decided to book with them again. Unfortunately, this move was the complete opposite. The movers showed up smelly and unprofessional, and they argued with each other the entire time they were in my home. It was uncomfortable to watch, and on top of that, they were clearly milking the clock rather than working efficiently. When my furniture arrived, several pieces were damaged--including an $800 dresser with two legs broken off, leaving it unable to stand. Three lamp shades never made it into my home during unloading, and the company initially denied they were ever part of the move. For a whole week, they ignored my calls and messages about reimbursement, after saying they would get back to me in 24 hours. They only responded once my father got involved, and even then, their offer was insulting: $70 for the three missing lamp shades and $0 for the ruined dresser. I'm extremely disappointed in how drastically their service quality declined. This company is now unprofessional, careless, and unwilling to take responsibility. I regret booking with them again, and I strongly suggest choosing a different moving company if you want your belongings--and peace of mind--protected.

We were very pleased to have selected owner John and his company "King of Kings Moving Ministries" for our unload. Don't let the name confuse you - they are hard-working movers and are also Christian - they're not going to evangelize you (unless you ask!). They took very few breaks and deducted the time off for lunch. The rate is very reasonable. And John knows how to move and set up a grand piano. I think he would have done a better job than our loaders on the other end of the move. And if you have an extra hand dolly available, they'll use it, too - saving even more time. Give John a call.

Paid $1608.33 Property MOVED: (700 square feet) 1 couch, 1 recliner, 2 bar chairs, 1 dresser, 1 night stand, 2 TVs, 1 queen metal bed frame, 1 mattress, 22 Sm to Med boxes/crates Property DAMAGED/DESTROYED: 1 couch, 1 recliner, 1 dresser, 1 qu sheet set, scratch marks on the stairs, walls, 6 boxes/crates Started the job at 9:37am. Within the first hour, I watched them stack four crates off center onto the loading gate. Less than a minute later, all four crates tumbled to the ground with the contents going everywhere. The 2nd mover asked to use the restroom, only one at the location. After 13 minutes, he came out of the bathroom were DIRT DRIED SWEAT RINGS/STAINS on the TOILET seat. I overheard EK and the other mover complaining about the amount of time it was taking and the second mover said he needed to be on the road headed to New Orleans by 1pm. At this time, it was 12:22pm and they had not loaded one piece of furniture. I left to open the destination with the assumption they were right behind me. They did not show up at the destination location until 2:09 PM. In correspondence with the owner before the insurance claim was filed, he told me they must have stopped for lunch. i.e., I PAID $179 for them to stop and have LUNCH. When I returned after a quick errand at 3:03pm. The second mover was gone and a second set of movers were there. I watched the three gentlemen have a conversation around the COUCH. At any point they could have said we SNAPPED THE FRAME and are sorry. How would you like to proceed? EK (lead mover) asked me to sign without giving me the opportunity to read the contract and took a set of allen wrenches with him. I contacted him 4xs to return my belongings. He never responded. GUESS IT BECAUSE HE DESTROYED MY PROPERTY and TRIED TO COVER IT UP. The owner Bryce Atkins gave me the insurance claim information. When I contacted him about the meager $500 SETTLEMENT. He responded, "Based on the info you provided on weight of the items, our claims company decided that you were liable to receive $238 in COMPENSATION. Thats the legal liability. I upped that to $500." "How much of a settlement offer did you expect to receive?" Full hand prints in my white sheets which had to be thrown away. Boxes marked Fragile, destroyed. Boxes with arrows pointing a direction, dropped and left upside down. At the old location, packing tape, trash and three boxes were left.
