He came to my home within two days to do a detailed estimate. We carefully explored several options. He emailed his estimate to me three days later. I noticed that it was a professional estimate complete with drawings, written warranty, DOPL license number, and costs to install the mitigation system. I did my due diligence by checking with DOPL, BBB, and the State of Utah consumer protection agency. Roger and his company have a spotless record with no complaints. I set the date to install. Roger arrived on time and finished the project that day on time. He worked like a very knowledgeable pro in the basement, garage, attic and up on the roof. He cleaned up all of his work areas. Roger gave me a free Radon test kit which I mailed off a few days after the work was completed. The test came back with a Radon level of 1.1, the best you can get. Now, my wife and I feel a lot safer occupying our basement area. I could not be more pleased with the whole process. My best advice for anyone is to skip the two big companies in Utah who cannot come to your home for 50-60 days after you call them. One big company makes estimates over the phone with a somewhat pushy style. I hope Roger puts his company sign up in my yard to advertise his great work.

He asked what my homeowners insurance deductible was and encouraged me not to go through the insurance and said he'd charge me the same amount. He then cut a hole in my ceiling- about 3 ft by 2 ft, treated it for mold, pulled back the carpet, and set up 2 fans and a dehumidifier and left. A few days later, he called and asked if he could get the fans in the next couple hours. I said no, I was about to go hiking. He said okay, another time. Then I didn't hear from him again. 6 days later, I received an invoice by email. I wrote back and asked when he'd be getting the fans. No response. Then I called and it went straight to voicemail, his inbox was full, and it hung up on me. Then I texted him and got no response to that either. I finally sent his company Facebook page a message and he immediately called me and said one of his guys should have gotten the fans already and asked if he could get the fans the next day. He did come get them when he said he would and he put the carpet back. The total cost was $900. He said he would lose potential flood calls if he repaired the hole in the ceiling and gave me a referral for someone else who I can pay separately to fix it. He did apologize for this situation and said he's going to use it as a learning experience so future people can get ahold of him and his stuff isn't left in clients' houses so long.

Our furnace was on the fritz all week and finally quit last night. The guy called me back within 5 minutes of leaving a message at 11:30pm last night. With nighttime lows in the single digits it was a concern. He was super nice, and let me know the price difference if I waited until morning, that our house would be fine for one night and not have frozen pipes, and also that it would be better worth our time to have him come when he can get parts right away. He had our furnace repaired within 45 minutes and we finally have heat. Also, he helped save us money on our very tight budget. In less than 12 hrs, our heat is on and the house is almost warm again. Consumer beware... this company serviced our furnace in the attic and right after they left…read more(unknown to us) the furnace started leaking as the condensation pipe they had blown on during their 'tune up' they unfortunately jarred apart and it started to slow leak condensation into our walls!! We gave them a fair chance to take responsibility for this before posting a bad review by sending an email and certified letter to them with repair invoices (costs we incurred) and photos of the flood damage asking for reimbursement (under 3k), but they took zero responsibility. Despite being the last ones to touch the pipe they sent me a lengthy email back blaming the people that installed the furnace five years prior when the house was built, claiming it was installed incorrectly! Can you imagine?! Mind you these people have serviced our furnace the last three years and never once mentioned a faulty installation as part of their duty to let us know if something with our furnace wasn't right!!! I would absolutely not use this company unless you're willing to have your house flooded due to their negligence and then get stuck with the bill ontop of the stress of your brand new home being damaged. What a shame they wouldn't take any kind of accountability. I'll never use them ever again.
