Mark Lembke did an inspection on a home I am in the process of buying. He was very thorough in the inspection and explained possible issues to me and made sure I understood what he was talking about. He answered questions about different things I wanted to do with the house even though my questions had nothing to do with the inspection. He was very polite and helpful and made sure he answered all my questions before he left. Tonia was very helpful and patient in answering my questions about scheduling, when I should show up and also about my payment. I.was very happy with Home Team Inspections and would definitely recommend them. read more

Excellent experience. The inspector we had was extremely thorough. We got a personal walk through of the property.

I'm having a house built in Wasilla. When it was almost time for the walk thru, friends advised me to have it professionally inspected (my first new home.....I had no clue). I quickly checked around for a home inspector and saw that this company got pretty good reviews so I called them. They were wonderful. They scheduled the inspector quickly and his report was thorough and timely. He caught important things I never would have known about otherwise. I highly recommend HomeTeam Inspection. read more

Thorough. Excellent job. I would use them again. The guy who did it was personable. Great value.

I used HomeTeam last year for a house inspection (see my 6/15/2023 review). This time I needed a condo inspection ASAP Christmas week and I had no problem getting an appointment! The fee was less than other companies. Bob was early to the appointment, professional, friendly, and efficient. He answered all my questions and I had the report the next morning. I will ALWAYS use HomeTeam!! read more

Buying a home is a huge investment. My husband and I rely on our realtor, inspector, and others on the team to hold our interests and help us make the best decisions. The HomeTeam inspector took the time to thoroughly examine the home we are buying. He showed my husband each of the components and wrote a report that identified and supported the repairs we requested from the sellers. Investing in this inspecting potentially saved us both money and heartache in the future. Excellent value! read more

I was referred to HomeTeam Inspection Service by my real estate agent and SO glad I chose them! It was my first time going through the home buying process so I had countless questions. Luckily, there was a previous home inspection report from only a few months ago, so I had a baseline comparison. Mike was extremely patient and not only answered all my questions, but took extra time to show me and explain his answers. He even showed me things more than once when I forgot. In addition, he explained differences in inspection report, why certain things were done, and provided recommendations regarding who to contact/where to shop for additional work on the home. He made me feel extremely comfortable and I would use HomeTeam Inspection Service again in a heartbeat. read more

Mike was very knowledgeable and walked me through the entire process of the inspection. He would explain any items noted and gave me an overall status of the findings. Mike would would also stop what he was doing to address any questions or concerns I had as we walked through the property. Great experience with HomeTeam. They were quick to respond to my request, and have an easy to use scheduling tool on their website. The Inspector was on-time, through, willing to answer my questions and point out things I might have not seen, and had a great personality. Thorough and trustworthy service provided. Currently In the process of buying a multi-family home and just had an inspection done of the building. The service and payment were easy to set up online with HomeTeam and the response from them was quick after the inspection was done. There were two friendly and professional inspectors from HomeTeam and I followed them around during the several hours needed to inspect the home. I felt they were very good about answering any of my questions and were thorough in showing me issues with the home as I was there and were reflected exactly in the post inspection report. I strongly recommend their service. Thanks. read more

Inspector did a great job! We hired him to inspect a property we're buying and he was referred to us by our agent. My husband and I have both worked in real estate in other states and have met and worked with many home inspectors, good and bad- this is one of the good ones. read more

Mike was very pleasant and did a very thorough job during the inspection. He was sure to point all the issues out to me that were being included in his report. I would highly recommend this company! read more

I was extremely disappointed to have worked with this company. Their inspector was not able to focus on the job, he seemed more interested in bragging about himself and his personal life than inspecting the property. When I brought this to the Company Owner's attention, rather than address my concerns he sent me a non-disclosure agreement and stated that he would refund the inspection fee only on the condition that I signed the NDA. I cannot stress enough that I would never recommend this company. read more

So glad I hired these guys. Very easy to work with - professional and forthright. My inspector was awesome and even came to re-inspect once it started raining and I have leakage issues a few weeks after my initial inspection. From the office to the field - their team was great. Thanks! read more

My wife and I have now had the pleasure of having two different houses inspected by Mike Hanneman. Mike simply delivers the whole package each and every time. It's like he's found that rare ability to wear any hat needed to provide the best customer service possible. We always feel like we are working with someone who balances caring for both our needs and the seller's needs fairly and harmoniously. He has always made sure to answer absolutely any question we can think of, to explain any sort of complicated matter like a favorite teacher, and to always makes time spent during an inspection feel fun and rewarding. His reports are thorough and thoughtful. His respect for his job and our well-being is exemplary. Seriously can't recommend this guy enough. Honestly, we've never worked with anyone else from HomeTeam. . . maybe everyone there is just as amazing, we just don't know. But I have to imagine they are. Mike's been there a long time now and our guess is that office has to be nothing but great staff through and through. Thanks again Mike! Not sure how long until we'll be house-hunting again, but sure hope if we do, we go 3 for 3! - Julie and Jeff read more

Mike was thorough and professional, seemed very knowledgeable. Re-inspection was quick and compete. Would use again.

Got an inspection as part of my home buying process in May 2015. The written inspection seemed very thorough, but the best part was that Mike talked to me on the phone as a follow-up to some questions I had and he stayed on the phone until all my questions were answered. Gave me confidence to proceed with the inspection repair requests as part of our home buying process. Also was very responsive and flexible on scheduling. Would highly recommend. read more

Bruce was extremely accommodating to my questions and gave me both inspection details as well as recommended maintenance schedules on different aspects of the house. He was pleasant, thorough, and took the time to explain what he was doing and why it was important.
