I followed up with them from that first meeting and was told work would be scheduled in two weeks. My insurance was completely on board and approved the estimate. It was over a month and nothing. It finally took me calling texting emailing daily all day to get scheduled. Long story short and no exaggeration it took two and a half months (the AK summer) to get this small home restoration done. And a year later they are invoicing me saying I owe them and my insurance company isn't responding. So again I emailed text and called for a week until it was resolved. The employees are great. The management and ownership or whatever is the root cause is a complete nightmare. I legit was my own project manager for this company.

Unresponsive to the extent of ghosting the insurance company and myself and provided an excuse I…read morewill not put words to it since unable to know what is 100 percent true, 80 percent true, or 10 percent true.Channeling personal challenges can occur when buying time or blowing off a customer since possibly not enough money to be made and possibly pad the estimate so the insurance company denies the claim and business owner, Jason, can say "did all he could" are my ongoing concerns since my home is still unrepaired and I now need to find someone else not flaky, disinterested, disillusioned, disingenuous, or just not to be involved with on DAY ONE? $24K for a small room and adjoining bathroom with floor damage and removed sheet rock six inches above floor level from a 2 hours toliet flood (clean/not black water) should not be over $24K with added hourly supervisor fees and other weird stuff in the estimate to the insurance company and my common sense says are you trying to get a claim denial? APPARENTLY padding and inflating an estimate and not communicating with the examiner or myself to resolve the estimate disagreements, before anything is done, tells me if you do not want the estimate, bombard it with as much ridiculous billings so as to sabotage the estimate with the insurance company and then blame the insurance company for the failure to agree and get out of the job without looking bad or get bad reviews. I have verified noncommunicative with all and that is a big red flag. Contractors in Alaska can be flaky, lack intergrity, just not worth having any communication. VERIFIED! Good luck...reviews last forever. I will get my home back but months later, I am mildly pi$$ed off.

I had a question about whether they carried particular plants and the young gal at the counter didn't know the answer. The older blonde lady seemed like helping was out of her league. Nobody knew a thing at the counter and instead of trying to help, she just said no we don't have what you're looking for and continued talking to an older dark haired lady. When I asked her where I might find the plants I wanted, she said she didn't know. Then just kept talking it up. Then they started talking Spanish while looking at me. Talk about rude. Bells Nursery and Mile 5.2 Greenhouse had what I wanted and were so much nicer. Not only that, but everyone looked disheveled at Falz. Like they had been through a battle and just woke up. No thank you.

Chet has done two major remodel projects for me over the last two years, one for the main bathroom…read moreand the other for the rest of the upstaiirs living area; living room, master bedroom, kitchen, pantry, entrance hallway and home office. Both jobs required deconstruction and then painting, new flooring, sinks and cabinets, shower stall and toilet in the bathrooom, moving cabinets in the kitchen plus new quartz counter top, sink and undercabinet LED lights. I got lots of great advice and ideas prior to and during both projects, the work was excellent quality and there is nothing I would change or was disssatisfied with about the finished projects. Chet has a broad spectrum of excellent skills based on long experience, his attention to detail is uncommonly good, he cares about his work and about customer satifaction. You don't get that level of professionalism much anymore. I couldn't recommend him more enthusiastically.

I have a 80' wide 20' deep driveway only one truck in the driveway with all that room and the estimator parks so close to the truck that the tenant can't open a door without hitting the estimator's parked truck. I said to him "Nice park job", probably hurt his feelings. We get to the apartment and he tells me what a good job they will do. After about 30 minutes he says he would get back to the office and email the estimate. A week goes by, nothing. So I call BE HAPPY again, a lady answers the phone and I ask where is my estimate? She says she would pass the info on to the estimator and to wait for a call. Another week goes by, nothing. I call again and a lady answers the phone and asked what kind of work was to be done. I tell her and she says that's a time and material job and we don't do estimates for that, I say then why did you come out and do the estimate? She says, "Oh there was an estimate done?" I say yes. She says I'll have someone call you. A week later I call and ask for a manager or owner to call me or I will have to write some negative reviews. How can any one run such a disorganized business.
