The person who bought their home had this lender. Because of them, the closing was delayed 3 times, by weeks, not days. Jeff, the mortgage broker, was very difficult to get ahold of, misplaced paperwork and delayed our closing the third time because he had to send an appraiser out for a second time. When we finally made it to the closing table, the loan didn't find, despite the closing taking place in the early afternoon. All of our clients had to go back a second day once the loan for the buyer finally funded. It was disappointing and frustrating for my clients and most of those involved. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone in need of a mortgage.

I found them online through Lending Tree and they were simply horrible. I would say that the most frustrating part is simply lack of detail and follow-through. Yes, I did get a Flagstar mortgage through them but it was arduous. I'm sure YMMV depending on which broker you use. If you read the reviews for the Ann Arbor branch, you'll see that there are only 1 and 5 star reviews. Basically, you get someone who is competent or not. The appraiser used homes that were 10-15 years older as comparables, as well as homes…read morethat were in subdivisions that are no where near as nice as the subdivision the home she appraised is in. Additionally, an appraisal done 18 months prior came in 40k higher than this companies appraisal did. Stopped the refi process through my current bank due to this poor appraisal. Went through another bank and wouldn't you know, that appraisal also came in 40k higher than this companies. Hmmm, 2 of 3 appraisals by 2 other companies come in at 400k, and this one comes in at 360k. You get what you pay for. Stay away. They are awful.
