In the Columbus area for training and needed to unwind. As such, I ended up at CRU and I am happy I…read moredid. The location sits in the heart of Downtown which allows for ample parking. As you enter the building the vibe hits you at the door. The classic dim setting with the brand recognizable green lighting forces you to leave all your stress at the door and get into full chill mode. We were greeted by one of the waitresses who sat as and immediately took our drink order. As you sit and look around, the space is huge and the decor presents a bar meets lounge aesthetic. The DJ was spinning all the songs that gave you no choice but to rock, lean, or twerk wit it, whichever you prefer. LoL! When the waitress, Neiya, returned with our drinks she took our food and hookah order as well. Not your normal "bar" service. Neiya was super warm and inviting. Her bubbly personality and party vibe really added to the overall experience of CRU as a whole. I decided on the Wings and Fries for my mean and babeeeeeeeee. I trusted Neiya and went with the Honey Wings and them wingz waz wannnnggggiiinnnnnnnn. I'm talking about beat them back good. I'm talking where have these wings been all my life good. I'm talking who made these wings, tell them I love them good. LoL!! Furthermore, I consider myself a French Fry guru (in my mind) but whatever seasoning and sprinkle CRU puts on their fries has me licking my fingers and scraping the box. Ha! Don't judge me. The fries were bombbbbbbbb and I was here for it all. From the Vibe. To the Hookah. To the Service. To the Food. Everything about my night at CRU was amazing from an individual perspective, however, it was propelled into SuperTastic when everything came together. Awesome night. Thank you to Neiya for the great service. Thank you to the chef for the great food. And thank you to the entire CRU team for making the vibe a TRUE VIBE!!!! #WeOutsideeeeeeeeeeeeee

I would give Jarfly 9 stars if I could. We were on our way from a long day in a production…read morefacility in Eufaula, AL to Atlanta, GA with customers and we found Jarfly on Yelp and thought we would give it a try. So glad we did. The menu is eclectic with just about something for everyone. All our food came out quickly. It was well prepared, fresh and everyone really enjoyed their food. There is a great drink selection and the service was excellent. The bar has roll up garage doors down one side that open up to an outdoor seating area with a variety of seating options. Decor is bright and cheerful. If I lived around here, Jarfly would be high up on my list as far as places to go relax drink and eat!

The combo appetizer included sweet potato fries, mozzarella sticks, wings, and nachos. The nachos…read morewere pretty basic--nothing special, no real cheese, barely any toppings. They honestly don't need to be on the menu. The mozzarella sticks were surprisingly flavorful with a nice crunch, but they came with way too much breading and only three of them, which felt stingy and odd. They definitely should've included more. The sweet potato fries had decent flavor but were under-salted (as fries almost always need after frying) and came out a bit limp and sad-looking. The hot wings weren't labeled as boneless or bone-in on the menu, but they turned out to be boneless--which is fine. They were a good size, but the "hot" sauce was extremely mild. It needs way more heat to live up to the name. Now, the ranch... this ranch is incredible. It's creamy, deeply flavored, and has the perfect amount of dill--it's practically divine. I could rave about this ranch all day. The Zombie drink comes in a cool skull glass (limited to one per person), but it's basically 99% ice with very little actual drink. I could barely taste any alcohol--maybe I have a high tolerance--but the flavor was solid. Still, it's pretty pricey for mostly ice. The John Denver cocktail also looked great in its presentation, but again, mostly ice. Thankfully, the flavor matched the menu description exactly, which was a pleasant surprise. The patty melt was solid overall, but it needed more salt and pepper for seasoning. My egg was overcooked (fully hard yolk instead of the runny one I was hoping for to ooze over the patty). The avocado was only on one half of the sandwich, which seemed strange. I'd have preferred a slightly thicker patty too, but I do appreciate that it came on Texas toast--even though the menu didn't mention it. All patty melts should use Texas toast. I added a side salad, which looked nicely artisanal, and--once again--that amazing ranch took it to another level. The regular fries that came with the Rodeo Burger aren't regular at all--they're battered and had great flavor and crisp structure. They were excellent... except for the missing finishing salt that every great fry deserves. The Rodeo Burger itself was cooked perfectly, but like the patty melt, the patties needed more salt and pepper. The egg was again overcooked (hard yolk). Beyond that, the flavors worked well, though the jalapeños were surprisingly mild and lacked punch. The bacon was spot-on--not underdone, not overcooked, just the right chew without being tooth-breaking. Overall, the food has potential, but seasoning (especially salt) is consistently missing, and a few portions/quality details could use attention. That ranch, though? Absolute standout
