The worst of the worst. I hate making bad reviews, but #1 there customer service is terrible*** I asked the question twice to clarify when my product will arrive. The representative laughs at me over the phone like I'm an idiot. They are not the average furniture store. They are the middleman. Just a website that shows furniture of plenty of other manufacturers. Shipping directly from the manufacture. Kind of like dropshipping. I was told it takes 1-2 weeks to receive the product. It took more than 4 weeks. Keep having an excuse and delays the order. Example.. well it's prepping to ship... I guess that takes 2 weeks to prep lol. I've stressed on shipment date since the very beginning. Horrible service, they lie about when it will delivery, and gave me the run around. I will NOT EVER order from them again! read more

4/17/18: Ordered bedroom set. Agreed to $99 shipping cost for "curbside" delivery. 4/17: Order confirmed 4/19: Order reconfirmed - will advise shipping date 4/20: Email arrives " that your shipping zip code is a non-direct destination area and there is an additional $100 to ship there." I live within the city limits of Medford, OR; 80,000 population; 7th largest city in Oregon. I had a full -size SUV delivered here 1 month ago. 4/23. Woman calls me wanting to confirm the extra $100 shipping charge. Her explanation is that the carrier has to use a SMALLER truck! I point out that this is breach of contract and could be "bait and switch." Her reply was that "well, we sent you an email," and that this "extra fee is clearly visible on their site." ( I looked at shipping and FAQs after this and could NOT find any mention of this added fee.) I did get angry and said "since you are holding me to ransom, go ahead and charge the extra fee, but do not expect great feedback." Within 20 minutes they cancelled my order. They did refund my money. It seems that many businesses are following the lead of airlines and hotels- where they advertise a low price; and then add previously hidden fees onto the bill It used to be called - "Bait and Switch." I'D GIVE A ZERO, IF I COULD - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! When you ask simple questions, like when an item may ship, they tell you they don't know. When you ask how they cannot know when an item will ship - especially after they charge you for the item (most credible companies what to charge accounts until an item ships) - they cancel your order, and you get to wait several days for your refund. Best yet, I get an email acting as if I canceled the order. Additional Issue - left a number to call for delivery. They called and told me they sent me an email two days before. They didn't. When I pointed out they didn't, they condescended and told me to check my junk folder (junk is right - at least when it comes to this company and its customer service). I had already checked, and it was not there. They said they would re-send. They didn't. When I called to ask about whether they re-sent it, they argued with me and told me I never told them to re-send it. Of course, I didn't - they told me they would re-send it. Meanwhile, they never got around to talking with me (only at me) about why they sent the note, which was to know if I still wanted the item I ordered. Additional Issue II - When my call was escalated, the second individual I spoke with was worse than the first. So, apparently to get promoted, you must treat customers poorly. When I asked to escalate again, I was told they were the highest ranking person in the organization. I asked if they were the owner, and they said no. I asked who the owner was, and they said they didn't know. I'd be leery of any organization where the highest ranking person in the company does not know who owns the company. read more

Just don't buy anything from this place it is real bad We bought a bedroom set for my kid. Picture looked nice once we got delivery the quality was so bad which I didn't believe my eyes what we got all rough unfinished sharp edge first my child foot got cut by edge and hurt and each time we change bed cover for sure one hand get hurt. I request return and refund, they didn't accept we I push they put condition for return which was two times more expensive than purchase price. One person is sales person, manager, supervisor and customer service and her communication is another problem. Finally they sent technician when he got our home and checked bedroom set he said this is really disaster. However, when I contacted Homelement they said technician said everything was ok it seems like they changed everything the way they want it. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!! I ordered 4 each Naomi dining chairs. 3 of the 4 had serious problems: one had broken leg; one was seriously scratched and had been touched up with the wrong paint color; and one had a blob of paint on it. The screw holes were drilled in such a way that they splintered the wood around it. There were pin holes randomly throughout the chairs. I complained. They made me take pictures of the packing and the shipping labels and the 3 main complaints. They were considering sending replacement parts. The quality is so bad throughout I said no way and asked for a full refund and return shipping label. Homelement kept referring to the manufacturer and stalling. They made it perfectly clear that they had no intention of refunding my money nor of sending a shipping label to return the goods. These guys are as close to thieves as I have seen. I contacted Homelement for a price match. Although it met all the conditions of the price match policy. Homelement told me: "Their price is much lower than what we offer. It is a 33% difference in price including the shipping fees. So we are unable to price match with that big of a difference." That was a total waste of time contacting this company. read more

we ordered a coffee table and end table from homelement, but unboxing the furniture many points of damage were identified on both the cocktail and side tables. attempts to communicate with seller have not resolved the issue to provide a refund. read more

I am very disappointed with the service I have received from Homelement. I spent close to a $1,000 on a bedroom set that was supposed to be delivered on 7/15. Then I received an email that it would be delivered on 7/23. By 7/30 there was still no word from the company about my delivery. On top of this, my credit card was charges even though the set had not been delivered. I called, they gave me the run-around then changed my delivery date for a THIRD time - to 8/1. When the shipment still had not appeared by 8/4, I called again and now they are telling me that it won't come until the end of September. They offered NO discount, took no responsibility for their warehouse and refused to let my husband talk to a manager. They have now lost a once loyal customer. read more

BEWARE! Do not buy from this company. I received a damaged chest and they said emailed me and said they would not send a replacement until I donated the damaged item in their name and provided proof of the donation, apparently so they can write it off! Have you ever heard of such ridiculousness! They first made me send them pics of the all the packaging - most likely to blame the shipping company to keep from paying them but the package was perfect! They could not blame anyone so they tried this crazy tactic! I had also ordered a dining set that was on back order for a month! I told them to keep it after this crap! read more
