This is seriously the best homegoods I've ever been to compared to the other one in Princeton and even in Texas! It has sooooo many goodies and amazing decorations. You go in looking for nothing and are so pleasantly surprised with the assortment of things. I bought the best smelling candlesticks, candle holders, Christmas decorations, gift wrap, you name it. Idk why but this one is the goat. Only thing that is kind of annoying is that the aisles are kinda small so if you have a cart you will have to go in one at a time. read more

This is one of the largest home goods in the area. They have literally everything and it's very well organized. Large selection of pillows, wall art, glass containers, big pet section, greeting cards, pretty much large selection of everything except candles. The candle section needs more variety. Also the furniture section is amazing! I've seen cool finds from India and Turkey that I've never seen at any other home goods. (And I've been to a lot in multiple regions it's pretty much my only place to shop). Massive parking lot. Right off route 18. Bit of a sketchy area. This home goods seems to be the only thing really keeping this plaza in business. Also the parking lot is confusing there's one main entrance to get off/on route 18. Since opening in October 2017, this upscale indoor garage sale has continued to be a knickknack paradise for interior decorators, suburban housewives, and garden gnome collectors. From scented candles to cooking utensils to pet toys, you'll find everything you didn't know you wanted here. The seasonal items section in the center of the store is always in disarray but has the most markdowns. The pricing for the rest of the store is disappointing, with some items being closer to MSRP than not. Unlike at Marshalls, subsequent markdowns on items that don't sell here are not particularly generous or common. If you're shopping for something specific, you're better off browsing a big box store or your favorite internet retailer. While the store has very clean floors and stocked shelves, the walkways and aisles are quite narrow, with some of the larger merchandise precariously placed in areas where you're likely to bump into them. Unlike the larger HomeGoods stores, this one doesn't offer delivery services on furniture, which continues to clutter what precious little floor space this store has. My biggest complaint would have to be that most of the edibles, including olive oil and gourmet coffee, have been placed in the very front of the store by the windows where they are exposed to direct sunlight during all hours of the day. It's bad enough that a lot of the packaged food here doesn't have expiration dates; now you also have to wonder whether it'll give you cancer. If you love bargain hunting, you might find a diamond in the rough here or there if you look hard enough, but the inflated pricing might not warrant a lengthy search. If you're a man and your significant other dragged you here, prepared to bored out of your mind. Ladies, don't torture the men in your life by bringing them here: there is literally nothing for us to do here. read more

LOVE THIS LOCATION!! So for starters I didn't even know there was a Home Goods in East Brunswick- I was driving somewhere else and noticed the sign and had to stop! First let me start off with- this location had much bigger sections then previous stores I've come across. For instance there was a "work section" that had cute "file cabinets" and things that would help you to be super organized. In addition to the "work space" there was an extensive "Pet Section" which seemed to have more toys and pet items than I've seen in other stores. The store itself was very clean and organized and there was a lot of things in here that I didn't seem to notice in other stores such as "throw covers" and artificial plants for the home. Overall, I really liked this store and could definitely see myself coming back! read more

Was looking for an area rug on Monday 4/25/22 seen one and put it my cart , the manager came rushing over yelling they are not for sale !! they were on the floor with prices on them . He stated they werent entered into inventory yet and had a very poor attitude towards us ! if he can't handle his position and be courteous , maybe he should give up his position!! because of this experience I will never shop at any Homegoods again ! read more

Though I've seen HomeGoods sprinkled throughout NJ, it's the first time I've been in one, and a brand new one nonetheless! I will now be going all the time! HomeGoods is a partial blend of Bed Bath & Beyond, TJMaxx and maybe Target thrown in there somewhere. They sell home decor, seasonal/holiday decor, kitchen items, specialty food and a mixture of this and that. Most of their prices are really good but you need to know your prices. I picked up a large bag of coarse pink himilayan salt (5lbs!) for only about $8. There is also a selection of high end pots such as Le Creuset. I can tell these are secondhand but their prices were not worth it. You can probably get a brand new item from the Le Creuset outlet for a slightly higher price. I have heard though, that you can sometimes score a great deal on secondhand Le Creuset pots (not necessarily at HomeGoods). I love their specialty food section, a lot of which is packaged and ready for gifting (boxes of imported tea, boxes of hot chocolate, specialty olive oils, specialty coffee, sweets) Beware that their aisles are very narrow. With all the glass and ceramics all around plus the crowds of people, you have to be really careful not to knock something down. read more

Veronica and Hasime both need some cultural sensitivity training. I have spent nearly $400.00 on my TJX Rewards card since 2/13/2019. I have a $12.99 stool I'm trying to return (it cracked) & Veronica & Hasime are having a coronary; because she can't find the item on either of my 2 receipts (because it's a Samsonite stool & it doesn't say Samsonite on the receipt - WHAT???). I'll be calling corporate on Monday. Veronica also told me that she can't accept a picture of my receipt (which is what I had) unless it's a receipt which was emailed from the register at checkout. She said it's the policy and I told her it's not AND it isn't! I've been shopping here since it opened and am mortified at today's experience. The manager did tell Hasime she was wrong about the receipt "policy", however she made no move to intercede with Hasime's rudeness. Finally, Hasime asked if I wanted store credit. I said sure (I'm a frequent shopper...I'm addicted actually). She returns and asks for my driver's license. I ask her why she needs my driver's license and she's so damn exasperated with me at this point she's sighing and rolling her eyes all over the place. I had to explain to her that I'm within my rights to ask her WHY she needs MY driver's license and I'm not obligated to give it to her simply because she asks. This brand spanking new store is stocked to the hilt! I've visited at least 4 other home goods and they aren't as stocked. Nor did others have as much furniture or specialty food selection. So far, the items for sale are organized and store is clean, aside from the stock boxes being unpacked. The employees are friendly at the register. It's a little difficult in some areas to navigate your cart around because of the amount large furniture, restocking, and unboxing going on, but this store has a lot to offer home owners wanting to decorate and furnish their homes whether for everyday or seasonal. So today October 8th was the grand opening in East Brunswick New Jersey. Although it was crowded as expected this place is my new favorite store! From trinkets to mirrors and everything bathroom and bedding... This place has it all! We really need to come back so we're able to look at everything it has...It was just very crowded but I'm so pleased with what we bought. We also signed up for the credit card which saves you 10% on your entire purchase but I'm not sure how long that is going to be in effect for. I highly recommend you guys check this place out because I'm also redoing my Room so I found a lot of stuff that I could be putting into it when it's finished. I used to really like HomeGoods but now I fell like I can never find anything that I need, and I always ending finding what I need at T J Maxx or Marshalls. The store sells a wide variety of stuff, pretty much anything that's for home/ S, couches, drawers, china food, stuff like that. They sell some good stuff for the bed as well, such as pillows, and they sell some other stuff for animals, such as food and toys. However, nothing really stands out for me here. They don't have anything special for me that I can find. The store is very clean, and there's some odd strong smell in there whenever I walk in. I have only been here once, and I am planning my trip back this weekend. I foolishly brought my husband the first time and he was groaning about leaving as soon as we walked in the door. This is a decorator's paradise. Beautiful house items, all for affordable prices. I almost died when I saw the Christmas decorations as I love Christmas. They have everything from cooking items, food and snacks, small furniture, paintings, mirrors, lamps, chairs, candles, large carpets, small rugs, etc. The store is about the size of a regular Marshall's but only with Home Goods items. I have never been in a home goods store till this one moved in. I had time to kill so I strolled in. Omg!! Love love this store so many different things for the home including nice pieces of essential furniture. They have everything for the home its mind blowing. The prices are truly reasonable. From outdoor stuff to even things for your favorite pet, cat or dog. This place can take hours to browse just bc their is so much to see. Love the kitchen stuff bc they have things that you didn't know you needed or even existed. Lol. Every time you go in you see something that you haven't seen the last time. I recently came here last night around 9 o'clock 08/27/2019 with my family shopping for some furniture for my office and candles I love home goods. But the treatment I got was so poor that I have to leave a review. I go to the home goods in Princeton and they're so helpful and warm and kind. Here it's a whole different story the staff need to be reevaluated. I was disrespected they treated me rude and I walked in with Chanel shoes in a Goyard purse they knew I had money to spend here. But treated me like If I was homeless. And any other normal store they'll stay open just tell the customers are done paying for their stuff they was literally shutting the lights on us there was a young man and he kept giving me and five other family members personal greeting saying home goods is closing in five minutes we all have cell phones and watches we check the clock and we had 10 minutes very rude! Then there was another lady which I feel she was just completely racist she was African-American and she kept telling all five members of my family home goods is closing in five minutes when realistically they was closing in 7 mins like if we didn't hear it on The announcements every 15 minutes..... so this lady her name is Shirley and this is why am saying she was racist towards me sweetie is used as a term in a endearment.
