I've been using Home Happy for about a year and a half. Coleen is attentive to feedback on the cleaners assigned so I have people who work well with me. I also like it that when we travel we can cancel our days and she finds other work for the regular cleaners but keeps our schedule intact when we return. Coleen and her team could not have done a better job in my home. As I was looking through potential companies, this one stood out not only because they use safe cleaning agents (I have small children and animals) but primarily because it already had stellar reviews. I was surprised to see as I read that only a few reviews were "recommended" by Yelp, but upon reading the hidden reviews I discovered that even those were positive. Coleen was able to schedule me on fairly short notice, shortly after Christmas which I was so grateful for. Her team arrived promptly, while I left with the kids and dogs (the makers of filth) they set to work. I would like to take a moment to describe my home. Although we keep it neat and pretty clutter free, the dust is a never ending battle. We have an all dirt yard, with 2 large dogs and 3 cats that are in and out all day. I have kids that love to play in the mud and come inside. I also foster dogs, and recently had a mother and 7 puppies running in and out of the dog door. This lead to immeasurable amounts of dust and dirt that I felt I could never keep up with. I was hopeful, but not set on the idea that Home Happy cleaning could drastically reduce the amount of dust in my home. What I didn't expect however, was to not find any dust at all when I came home. The team was so thorough, and I could not be more grateful. I received a call about 30 minutes before they were finished, giving me plenty of time to finish the bath I was giving the dogs and head home. My home was sparkling, and I cannot wait to make Coleen and her team a permanent part of our household budget. I am writing an honest and glowing review of Shawndon and Coleen at HomeHappy Cleaning Service. I work hard, but am generally a messy person. I recently tried another cleaner that was not HomeHappy Cleaning and it was not so good. She changed the appointment time three times, including on the day of the cleaning. It was very disruptive. She also came a bit late. A nice woman, but not what I wanted. When it was done, my entire apartment had a strange smell, perhaps from dirty cleaning materials. I am not sure. She also did not bring all of the cleaning materials and did not vacuum the carpet, which was important to me. Now, on to, HomeHappy Cleaning. I went on Yelp and looked for cleaners with positive feedback and good reviews. I have found that good reviews are the best indicator of a good service. HomeHappy cleaning had the most positive reviews (they had all five stars) and a lot of them. So, I decided to give them a try. I am very glad I did. After I called HomeHappy Cleaning and left my number, Coleen (the owner-operator) texted me back immediately to let me know that she was driving and would call me back in a few minutes. She actually returned my call in two minutes, which was very nice. She must have pulled over to call me. I told her what I wanted and she gave me a very fair rate, for the deep cleaning I needed. She then followed up with an email describing the exact services I would be receiving. She also agreed to have the cleaning the next day so that I did not have to wait for my place to be cleaned. She was very positive and professional. Shawdon texted me about 20 minutes before the start time and let me know that he was on his way, which was nice. He arrived at my apartment precisely on time. He had all of the cleaning materials. He did a walk through in my apartment and went over what I needed. Like Coleen, he was very positive and such a professional. He then began the work immediately. He cleaned everything deeply and perfectly. I was so delighted. Really. It was the best, most thorough cleaning I have ever had. I mean spotless, and my place was sort of a disaster prior to his cleaning it. He was also polite and unobtrusive, as I was working on the computer during most of the cleaning. Coleen then checked on me the next day to see if I was totally satisfied. Of course, I was more than satisfied. I have used home cleaning services for quite a while over my lifetime. HomeHappy Cleaning is by far the best I have ever had from several perspectives. Actually, I will only use them in the future. A clean apartment is critical for my sense of well-being and productivity. I have found the best cleaning service in Tucson, and am very grateful and relieved for it. I requested a deep clean several weeks before needing them. Before I get into what went wrong, the cleaning itself was spot on from the baseboards to the ceiling fans so I have no complaints about the actual cleaning itself My issue is with how the day was handled. I have 4 golden retrievers who were at the groomers/day care from about 8-3. I purposely scheduled this way so they would not be cooped up and the cleaners would be able to move freely. I received a text or email the day prior stating they had a call off and could I be flexible and let them start at 11am. The issue was the dogs so I was firm with the 9am start time. I left for another appointment around 910 and no one had showed up. I called and spoke to Colleen and she said she would get someone over there right away. I went to my dental appt and received a text from my daughter stating whoever was there was rude and complaining about how far we live. OK so #1 don't be rude, customer service is your purpose. #2 really I live too far...shouldn't that have been discussed when the service was requested several weeks ago??? So I get home and Colleen is the only one there to deep clean my 2300sq foot house. Someone else was coming at 1pm. This did not make me happy at all because I had a fairly tight schedule to begin with. She again said to me how far we lived. Again, this should have been known from the first contact as I gave you my address. The next issue was the shower head, which was a very expensive one at over $100 it was a moen rainfall one, that Colleen broke. I did not have time to run to any other place other than ace so the one I bought was $30. She discounted the total cost this $30 but really it was a very expensive on you broke. At least $75 should've been taken off of the total, plus being late and causing issues with me picking up my dogs. I read all of the reviews and just don't know what happened with my service. I know I will never use them again because of this. The did not get to my house until about 1045am, appt at 9am and were there til about 330-400pm, which isn't that long but like I said I was on a tight schedule. Made the whole day terrible. Worst customer service ever. I would think twice about using this service. read more

I just moved from Hoboken, NJ to Tucson, AZ into my boyfriend's house, and I needed the house cleaned before I arrived. I asked for a deep cleaning, along the lines of a move-in cleaning, despite there being furniture and belongings already inside. There was a communication mixup in the beginning, which sent the cleaning team to the house 1 day earlier than my boyfriend was expecting, but the mixup was understandable and nobody's fault, and not likely to happen ever again. Despite that, Coleen kept calm and a great attitude, and managed to find a cleaning crew to come on the day I originally wanted. These guys did a truly phenomenal job. The job took around 11 hours for an 1800 sq. ft. mess of a house. They do offer to cap the cleaning at a certain time or budget, but I asked that they take whatever time necessary to do the full job. Coleen and crew came to my rescue! On very short notice she was able to fit me in her busy schedule the day before Thanksgiving. I work full time, take care of five acres and livestock, leaving no time for deep cleaning. I have never had the house professionally cleaned, so the challenge I presented her was daunting. Nevertheless, she took on my two bathrooms and kitchen and did an amazing job! She is punctual, has reasonable rates, and knows how to clean! I have looked into other cleaning companies and they don't want anything to do with you if you are not going to be a regular customer and many require a minimum number of hours each visit. They charge higher rates and you don't see the same person every visit. Coleen wants to be of service to her customers and wants them to be happy with her service. Rip off alert. Happy home cleaners come out twice for a "deep clean' to the tune of 470 dollars. When i booked them i told Colleen that I have cats and dogs so do not send anyone who is allergic. After the 2 expensive cleans i was suppossed to have bi-weekly cleans that were to be between 105-125. Well, guess what? colleen never responded to my emails. I was wondering why no one was calling to schedule the next cleaning.she sure was able to reach me when she was getting 300 for the job, but now that it was at the regular rate,for some reason she couldnt contact me.i finally called her and she told me the 2 girls that cleaned were allergic to cats.REALLY? these lazy people only want to clean a very clean house...or else Colleen pays them minimum wage while charging 40 per hour..and by the way ,when you first call her she says 'we dont charge by the hour" . But at first visit the cleaners told me how many man hours they were told to do. so theyll get you for the big bucks then the bait and switch begins......this business is a SCAM!!!!!!!! read more
