My tween bought me a water bottle for Christmas. She did not know to ask for a gift receipt, and took off the price because it was a gift. When I opened it and filled it with water, the water poured on my face. The waterbottle straw is a different shape than the opening and cannot seal. I phoned in to ask to trade it for one that worked and was cleared. I came in, displaying the gift. I was guided to trade it in at the desk. Arriving at the desk with my daughter running over and excitedly holding up an identical bottle, clearly from the store, we were told that there was no way to trade it. This was after being told on the phone and in the doorway that a swap was possible. I can't believe they sold a child a broken gift and could not be flexible in front of her about her mistake with the receipt. I will never shop at this store again, how heartless for Christmas. read more

This location doesn't disappoint. So. Much. Good. Stuff. I love that the store is well organized, and each department seamlessly rolls into the next one. Start with the food section. Yes, they sell all types of quality items. If you can snag a jar of Sarabeth's jam, do it! It's such a steal. I've purchased the same jam in upscale stores, and paid twice as much as HomeGoods is selling it for. They carry wonderful seasonings, speciality items, like pink peppercorns, a variety of olive oils, and you can't go wrong with the seasonal candies. So. Much. Yum. The glassware section features some wonderful dishes, vases, figurines, and all well known brands. I bought a Kate Spade set of appetizer plates for half of what I saw online. They had Kate Spade dish towels that I bought for $10.00 for a set. Bargains galore! They aren't a discount store; they are store where you will find great deals on great things. Pets even have a large section dedicated to them. Beds. Toys. Treats. So. Much. Fun. Are you looking for bedding ? The choices are incredible. I had bought a bedding set and when I got home and took out packaging it looked like someone burned it and then returned it so I went back to store to show them and get my money back. Manager was no help and I wasn't happy! Wasted $80 bucks. Never again will I shop there!! read more

Of all the home furniture/decor shops (ie. TJ max, Marshall's, World Plus), Homegoods is my favorite. A tad more expensive than TJ max and Marshalls but they have better selections and quality items. The store also seems to be better maintained. Usually things are neatly displayed and aisles are clear of fallen items. No need to sort through various "junk" on each shelf. I recommend swinging by, even just for a quick look whenever you are in the area. Items are always changing. Staff here are friendly. read more

This is a great Home Goods store. Well...all Home Good stores are great. What I liked about this particular store is that it wasn't too big and over stuffed. Some stores are sooo large and sooo stocked, it can be a little overwhelming. This store had a great mix of seasonal items,bedding, kitchen ware and furniture. The store was very tidy and a worker was doing mark downs in the clearance isle. She said if the item we were looking at didn't have a second markdown, be sure to check with her. I had a problem at the checkout, she was called up to help and she didn't even acknowledge me before she started to walk away. If I could give zero stars I would. I contacted store regarding defective pillows that I bought a few months ago which I have literally not used until a few days ago. I discovered pillows were coming apart at the seams all around the pillows. I explained I didn't have receipt but would be ok with just an exchange. Of course they would not allow. Went in to store # 078 today to look around. I was so excited to find this old school Pacman's pixel bash, over 30 games. Gives me the option for free play or coin operation, great addition to my break room at work. Thanks to the fabulous store Associates Morgann & Chloe. These two ladies provided superb customer service without a shadow of a doubt, going above and beyond the call of duty . I wasn't sure at first if I was going to do it, but Morgann sensed me fighting myself at the register over the idea of purchasing it. Morgann went on to say that I needed that machine and that i work hard convincing me that i needed to have it now and not later. Morgann started the transaction having to switch gears on her register and jump over to another store associates register, Chloe I think her name was assisting me together, it was like a tag team match, the dynamic dual the way they tackled the transaction together. I was very impressed the way they completed the sale and blown away with the customer service they provided. I will definitely give them a letter of recommendation for having there own stores in the future or perhaps the Vp position. Thanks again ladies read more

This was my first visit to HomeGoods. I was in need of a shelf and as I looked around found one that I liked. The price tag was $99 and was torn off but laying on top. I decided to get it and asked an employee for a dolly to help. That's when she saw the ripped off tag and said, "let me check the price". I said this was attached but torn I'm sure it's the price. She started to look for a bar code on the remaining tags attached but could not find one. Then she looked at the back to see a number in chalk to check the price but that was partially rubbed off. Suddenly she got suspicious and insinuated that the $99 price was faked and "someone" did this looking at me. She called a manager who was also accusitory and they fumbled for a price and suddenly it was $180, basically doubled. I said no thanks. I don't appreciate being accused of cheating and then treated like trash. A true salesperson would have sold me the shelf at the advertised price. Thankfully I didn't get it because I found a better shelf at another store and was happy to pay more! I doubt I'll be back to HomeGoods any time soon. We're customers not trash. read more
