Superb service from Rainbow Wood when we bought it. They delivered it 20+ miles to Reading and then they spent two hours installing. Brilliant. The bed has been excellent, absolutely no issues with the build or quality. My son still loves his stomper bed SIX years later aged 13. Just bought a new mattress for the bed this week as my son still uses the bed and is happy to for another two yrs or so. The mattress was bought from Rainbow Wood again and it was a pleasure to receive their brilliant, completely customer bias service again. Don't think and ponder about buying their beds, just buy it. You pay for the quality on all levels and you'll get it for sure. I promise you, you will not regret it and your kids will love it (and you for that matter) for many many years.

Because I was in a rush I placed the order over the phone there and then, thinking I would be dealing with a trustworthy, reputable firm. Having laid the concrete base to that size, when it arrived I found that it was actually 5'9"x7'9" - exactly 3 inches short in both measurements. When I discussed this with them, I was told, initially that the discrepancy was because sheds were marketed in imperial, but wood comes in metric (that doesn't explain why it was exactly 3 inches short in both dimensions!), and I quote, that "I had made incorrect assumptions about this" - I ordered a 8'x6' shed, nothing else assumed! I was finally told that if I wasn't happy they would come and take it back, after I'd had to put the thing up, of course. The only good thing I can say about this transaction was that the delivery chaps were nice and helpful. All in all, I would not recommend buying a £500 shed from them, god forbid anything more expensive. This situation could have been resolved so easily but their resolute refusal to take any responsibility left a nasty bad taste. If you're thinking about buying from them then spare yourself, don't bother!

Unfortunately Bourne do not operate to very high standards in this respect. They took our money but when a problem arose, we were on our own. Even though we were actually Bourne's customer, they provided no proactive support when we suffered terrible problems and inconvenience lasting for more than 4 months with Timbergarden for whom Bourne are agents. We deeply regret using Bourne and will never do so again. They are good at taking your money, but that is all. What a waste of a beautiful site.
