A really progressive and fast growing centre. They have not overstocked on standard commercial items but display unusual items at a reasonable price. Excelent stock of plants and of good quality. They run a Loyalty Card. Excellent parking and easy access. 11/09/12 Progressive..yes, now they've gone to the extreme. Used to be a nursery/garden centre that you could purchase decent plants, shrubs, flowers etc. On our last two visits we have seen how the standard of these have deteriorated. However, the increase of pots/teapots. ceramics. clothing, cd's, dvd's, books, confectionery and all manner of other non-garden items has turned this place into a Bog-standard boring shop. I've been a customer of Newbridge for many years, including remaining as such even after the nursery was taken over. I've always been amazed at the profusion of flowers, shrubs, trees on display, and the garden essentials, furniture, tools, toiletries, and books etc. A great eclectic mix of many essentials. Not forgetting their dining opportunities in lovely surroundings. Today ( 10/09/20 ) I had occasion to buy more bulbs etc, and to return for advice on an expensive plant purchased last year which had died. I was attended to by Tony who was very helpful and friendly, advising me that the plant that I had purchased had persisted, and he told me that I could get further assistance on this by another member of staff in the plant department. This time I met Kim, who looked at my sad plant remains, and suggested it had been attacked by weavels . Kim kindly told me that the plant would be replaced free of charge, and then gave me a lot of information re. Planting and care of it. These two members of staff went far beyond my expectations, and were a credit to Newbridge. Thank you both. I will remain with this nursery and highly recommend it. read more

We always get the newsletter by email which prompts us to check out the latest deals. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They have a good range and when we went to buy bulbs there was a lot of stock and we got some good deals on tulip bulbs. It's worth checking out the Christmas stock indoors too as they make the displays very inviting! read more
