Rolf was a pleasure to work with. He was professional, on time and very knowledgeable. He was thorough and made sure he was going to get a great result. He went over the details with us explaining the physics behind the sizes we needed. He had a little tricky installation because of the size of the sails required, but he figured it out and the sails look great. I would highly recommend Rolf for any project requiring the best in looks and performance. read more

Rolf is wonderful to work with. Came out gave us a very reasonable estimate and very clear process of how he would install and how long it would take day of installation etc. we had other companies come out and their estimates were extremely high and they wanted to smash walls etc - just ridiculous. Rolf came out with his assistant, and everything went super smoothly, fast install and it looks amazing. Plus the product Rolf installed, we are very familiar with since our families in Spain have same ones. We would recommend Rolf to anyone who wants great, well done work and a very solid product. read more

Rolf just installed three shade sails at our house and we LOVE them. He and his team were efficient, fairly priced, on time, and friendly. We adore our shade sails! We would 100% use their services again in the future. read more

I found Rolf (Home-Teck) from my realtor as well as from Yelp (his good review stand out). I emailed him and sent him couple photos of my old awning. He called me back and asked me to use the rough measurement and go thru the product page to get an rough estimate. After couple of days, I called him back to ask him to stop by for a REAL measurement so he can send me a final quote. Totally professional and easy to deal with. Now I have a friend in the "awning" business. Thanks Rolf! read more

Thank you Rolf for your expertise and great service with the installation of our new awning! It is a large one and was definitely a custom project. We will highly recommend your services to anyone looking for awnings. Thanks a million, Kathi and Mike read more

Rolf installed a sail shade for me about 10 years ago and just had him out again to put in a new one. Remeasured, made sure I was good with everything and in 1 week, turned around 2 new beautiful shades. He is a true craftsman. read more

Rolf was great with the install of our shade sail for our back patio. He was detail-oriented, efficient and knows his product very well. A few things that make this a 5-star review: 1) No pressure on the pricing; his installation took 2 visits and there was no pressure to pay for everything up front. We paid 50% on each visit. 2) Rolf installed this in late spring/early summer and when it was time to take the shade down recently at the beginning of winter, he was available when I needed help, specifically: 3) I needed help with the ratchet strap to actually remove the shade sail from its anchor points. Although he was about to travel overseas, he kindly responded to my texts and assisted me in how to use the ratchet strap properly w the sail take-down. Thank you! 4) When Rolf initially put up the shade, he informed us that one of the anchor points was in some wood that would need treating soon due to wood rot...something we otherwise would not have known. Thank You Rolf! Would absolutely recommend to anyone interested in installing a shade sail. read more

truly outstanding awning! completely retracts when closed into a secure and inconspicuous housing. very durable, sturdy and gorgeous when open. makes our outdoor space so much more comfortable, and provides additional shade for inside too. this was a birthday gift to my husband, and he couldn't be happier. rolf is great to work with and really knows his stuff. read more

Rolf, was phenomenal. We were interested in having a 20 ft awning installed on our roof overhanging the patio cover but due to that not being practical he proposed installing the awning on two posts in our yard and having the awning open toward the home. I was skeptical whether it would look good and how it may work but it has looked great and operated amazingly. Everyone who comes to the house always marvels at it (including the ability of it to be closed or extend out in seconds). read more

This review is long overdue, but I wanted to provide a review of Rolf's work. I ordered a retractable awning spanning our patio (16x 16) as well as vertical shade (16 x 5) installed in May 2017. Rolf was punctual in arriving to provide a quote as well as performing the work. Price-wise, Rolf was by far the best deal compared to others (~40% less than similar products from other companies). The quality of materials were comparable to the other quality products on the market (had all the same fabric as any other company). I also wanted the awning to be angled to allow for run off when it rained out. I would recommend only leaving out in light to medium rain (retract in heavy rain). I chose Rolf because I wanted a softer look for my patio, as opposed to a louvered awning. It's great because I can open the entire patio at night and see the stars unobstructed. Overall I was very satisfied with Rolf's work (price, quality, and punctuality). read more

Rolf did a great job of installing a shade sail for my back yard. He answered all my questions and his service was prompt. His price was also better then any of the other installers that gave me estimates. I highly recommend him for shade sails! read more

Rolf (Home-Teck) installed our awning in May 2012. At the time our home had cedar shakes so the awning was installed under the eve. When our new roof was installed a couple of years later, Rolf came back out and reinstalled the awning on the roof. In both cases Rolf was prompt in showing up at the requested time. A couple of weeks ago the wind detector unit was having issues and retracting when there was no wind. Rolf gave us a day when he could be by and he showed up on time. He quickly diagnosed and corrected the problem. It was just batteries that needed to be replaced and he put in new batteries for us and showed me how to do it in the future. He didn't want us to pay him for the batteries. The products that Rolf used are high quality and long lasting. Rolf is a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him. read more

I chose Home-teck for the quality of the product at the fraction of the price (compared to a few of the big players in the area). Rolf is a very knowledgeable, professional, down-to-Earth guy who patiently answered all my questions and cleared misunderstandings which resulted from speaking to his competitors. He advised me on the most suitable (not the most expensive) product to achieve my goals. The ordering and installation process was quick and easy. There was one minor issue a month after the installation and Rolf came out and took care of it the next day. read more

We had a really great experience with Rolf! He installed two shade sails on our patio, and we are so pleased. He is very responsive, and easy to work with. I felt very confident in his guidance on shade placement and installation of steel anchor poles. In addition, he took the time to explain how the brackets are affixed to my roof, and even took pictures for me once they were installed (since I obviously wasn't going to climb up on the roof to look). The installation of the shades will allow us to use our patio more than we've been able to in the past. We are thrilled with the quality and workmanship that Rolf offers, and would not hesitate to recommend his company. read more

Rolf (Home-teck) was the second awning company I had come out, inspect and measure area. Rolf was much more detailed and involved in whole process of selecting, manufacturing and installing our new awning. He knew every question and measurement I asked him. He even had sample awnings on his van. Post-shut down, businesses are now really backed up and trying to catch up but Rolf was able to deliver and install earlier than expected. His estimate was better and his product is the best I have found in the area. He uses a full cassette covering fabric completely when not in use. The other awning company was selling half-cassette which exposes top of fabric role when closed for more $$$. In short, we couldn't be happier as our new awning has transformed our patio into a completely new room that we love. We are very happy we chose to give Rolf our business and we highly recommend him. read more

Home-Teck installed a sail shade at our backyard. I purposely waited for some time prior to wring this review, since I wanted to see and understand how does sail shade perform during wind and rain. Now that we have been through a couple of relatively strong storms, I am very satisfied. We completely remodeled our backyard and we didn't want a trellis or pergola. I am very glad that we found Rolf Weissenberger. Our new sail shade is relatively large and it looks fantastic! Everyone is commenting how cool it loooks. Backyard certaily became larger since there are no heavy structures like trellis that we had before. The sail shade performance during rain and wind was just as Roy predicted. Rolf was very helpful and I am glad that I lstened to his recommendations in terms of a fabric choice, powder coating the posts, and other technical and aesthetic details. I highly recommend Home-Teck and Rolf! read more
