Mike came highly recommended to us by our realtor to perform the inspection on our new home. I will start by saying that highly recommended is an understatement! Mike was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and professional. He literally touched every single aspect of the home, both inside and out, top to bottom and explained every little detail to my husband and I. We learned so much from him. Our new home has well water and propane, which is totally new to us and he gave us a ton of useful knowledge on operation and future maintenance. His final report is incredible. Not only did he provide his report to us within 24 hours, everything that he reviewed with us in person is put together in a neat and organized electronic report, with pictures and lengthy comments. We found this incredibly useful because now we have his comments as future reference about our home, in case we ever forget anything. His reporting also has the function for us to select which areas we want to present back to the sellers and the ability to add our own comments. He also kept us updated with external results (i.e. radon and water quality) and explained all the results to us as soon as they became available. We don't plan on moving again in the near future, but we won't hesitate on reaching back out to him if we ever need any advice. We give Mike a 10 star rating! Michelle & Jason C. I had a great experience with Mike at Home Tech Property Solutions. He was very easy to contact, and was able to schedule my home inspection within a week of my initial call (very important when you only get 10 days to have a home inspection from the date your offer is accepted on a home!) Mike's communication by phone and text prior to the inspection date relieved any anxiety I felt about the process. During the inspection, Mike patiently explained everything he was checking and testing in layman's terms, and I now have a pretty comprehensive understanding of the home I'll be purchasing in a few weeks. His prices are very reasonable, and I even added radon testing to my inspection, as I wanted to know as much as I could before moving into the home. I received the full inspection report on the morning after the inspection. It was incredibly detailed with many photos, descriptions and recommendations. Fortunately, my inspection didn't turn up any major issues, but the report was a comprehensive look at the current condition of the (new to me) property that I'll refer to often. read more

I used HomeTech Property Inspections earlier this week and was extremely impressed with the thoroughness and helpfulness of the process. Mike took the time to fully explain what he was doing, to offer suggestions (and even demonstrations) as to how and when to service items. (Until that moment, I never knew there was a filter in the dishwasher that needs to be cleaned.) The inspection report that arrived the following morning (!) held no surprises, since he had already shared his findings with me during the process, but it is extremely helpful to have his findings and suggestions enumerated so clearly. Mike is professional, personable and a very effective educator. I learned a lot and feel much more confident in moving forward. I wholeheartedly recommend Mike Spano and HomeTech Property Inspections. read more

Mike is professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He recently inspected two homes for us and helped us with getting the most information about the properties so we could make the right choice. Mike even returned to the property to inspect an attic that was inaccessable at the time of the inspection and replaced the air filter on the A/C because of the strain it could put on the new system. How thoughtful! Mike cares about his customers and their safety. He is responsive and has a great sense of humor as well which helps with the stress when buying a home. We respect his professionalism and expertise. We would go with Mike every time when getting a new home inspected. read more

I was very pleased with Mike's inspection of my first condominium. Mike was very thorough and listened to all of my concerns with the home. He also took out of his time to write me a succinct report which I then used to reduce the sales price on my property. Mike took two complete hours to inspect my condo and reached out to his network of experts to confirm results from the inspection. I would recommend to other people and would use him again for a second inspection. Thanks Mike. read more

I have bought several homes and had them all inspected. I was blown away with how thorough Mike was in conducting his inspection! I was out of state when the inspection took place and was able to view the inspection via FaceTime. Not only did Mike explain what he was seeing while I was on the call, he also took time to walk me through the report he was writing over the phone. Mike's report gave me total confidence that I knew full well the condition of the home. read more

As a Realtor there are bunch of things I'm looking for in a home inspection. Mike checks every single box. He explains and details repairs and maintenance that will be part of home ownership. I've seen him work with first time buyers and make them feel informed about the smallest details; I've also worked with him with experienced buyers who have a different set of questions and concerns. Both types leave the inspection confident and informed. read more

Mike is experienced, honest, thorough, has a fantastic personality, and is very reasonably priced for his expertise. His reports are comprehensive, clear and a breeze to put together repair requests. He's my go-to guy. With mike, the job doesn't end when you get the inspection report- he was more than happy for a phone chat to revisit items of concern, how extensive a repair would be and what was worth asking for.
