We had terrific service, the food was amazing and I loved the atmosphere! The Pub burger with smoked Gouda and bacon was so delicious paired with the sriracha mayo!!! The wings were good too - just wish they had a bite but nonetheless, tasty! The bartender gave us a little back story on the name and the squirrels throughout the restaurant. Sonny B the sister ship is the water taxi up at PIB. Well for many years now at Ashtabula harbor the bum boat is tied up & open to the public fully licensed sit down bar. The owners are really nice. Live music, have a drink. Fairly large menu board too. I didn't know they had food tbh. It was great chili dog. As good & very similar to skyline. If u love shipping, history, music & dranks, and who doesn't in Ashtabula harbor, get ur arse down to the bum boat & have a blast. Two big screen TVs behind the bar, a jukebox with the usual bar assortment, and two lofts, one for just sitting and the other with a pool table. Take note that if you don't like cigarette smoke then you will probably hate it here. It seems like EVERYONE is blowing out more smoke than the Clariton Cokeworks. Prices are good. $1.25 for a 12oz draft and 2.50 for a well mix drink. I'm kinda thinking that they pour the mixed drinks a little weak, either that or I've built a ridiculous tolerance, cause I had quite a few and wasn't really feeling it. Chippers also has one of the larger bottled beer selections in Meadville. The wings are good if you are feeling food, otherwise I haven't tried anything on the menu.

Food is sub par and the service is some of the worst I've ever experienced. We waited almost two and a half hours for wings while the owner and his crew came in a half hour after us and had food an hour before us. We would have been hammered but we waited with empty bottles for 10 minutes between beers. The inside still looks like a construction zone with unfinished wood, stained sheet metal and crooked corners everywhere.
