I have been a patient of Dr. Michael Gorman's for over 21 years - ever since he opened his first…read moreclinic in Chesterfield Valley. Over the years, he has treated me successfully several times. I have had issues with my neck due to my arthritis more than once and also a spinal fusion in 2011. He helped me recover very nicely from both problems. He is also responsible for sending me for an MRI on my shoulder which led to the discovery that I had melanoma cancer. That literally saved my life. Most recently, he has been treating me with "dry needling" as an alternative to having shots in my fused back. This has also resulted in my not requiring further back surgery. Mike and I agree that this "dry needling" program has been the most successful of all my treatments. He has eliminated most, if not all, of my trigger points in my legs, buttocks, back and hips. I walk better, feel more pain free, and do more activities comfortably. Mike has always been professional, respectful and courteous with me. He listens to what I say and includes treatment and/or exercises to address my issues. I highly recommend Mike and iMove PT to anyone who needs Physical Therapy.

At first the therapy was difficult because I was in so much pain. I saw Dr. Joda and after 2 visits, he suggested that Dr. Gorman try dry needling. I was up for anything that would help. I must say that it isn't a pleasant experience especially being in so much pain. After 3 session of dry needling along with therapy, the pain became tolerable. I had another of 12 visits with Dr. Joda and by the time I was done I had no pain and was able to resume all normal activities. He was wonderful and I would highly recommend IMove PT for any physical therapy needs.

I went and toured the place for a tour because I was told this was where my mom was being placed…read moreback in September. I had read all the reviews on Google/yelp and other sites and really didn't want to place here. With no other location as an option mom was taken there. I filed a grieve with moms insurance company and am in the process of filing with the state, Medicaid and Medicare - I firmly believe that had the oxygen machines not been faulty, dirty & alarming and my mom had been receiving the proper amount of air flow that she would not have had another flare / exacerbation of her breathing, which brought on the other symptoms she told the nurse which are outlined in the attached document Ballwin Ridge 09.20.22. If the conditions had been adequate, I believe that mom would have been able to stay out of the hospital vs. having to return. Mom started to show improvements shortly after being at the ER as she had been placed on stable oxygen just before departure from Ballwin Ridge, when the second machine failed a second time, as well she was on oxygen during transport and upon arrival at the ER. Concerns: - Intake processes of staff to EMT to patient - lack of communication and staff presence - Condition of the outside of the facility - rotting boards and flaking paint - Condition of the windows in the room assignment - faulty seals, water leaks, gaps in the framing, spiders inside the window and screen - Condition of the oxygen equipment that was provided for patient o 1st machines filter was full of dust and was disgusting (alarmed twice) o 2nd machine appeared to have a clean filter that we could see but alarmed once with a red light and then again with a silent alarm with a yellow light (per owner's manual this required servicing to be done and could possibly have lack of proper air flow / oxygenation). - Wasn't offered water or meal plate - Vitals were not taken upon arrival from EMT's - Lack of assistance / interaction with bathroom needs when they were communicated via EMT & myself to the staff. - Attitude / Manner of the director (Deanna) & several staff members (Deanna was the only name we were given, the rest never introduced themselves). - Temperature of building and patients' room (even with PTAC unit on in the room it was warm) - Conflicting information from the intake administrator (Shelby) in regard to ability to have necessary equipment at bed side and when avail and the nurse/tech team's advisement when requested and the director's response when challenged. - Advisement that they couldn't transfer patient for approx. 24 hours or until eval and that a bedpan would be required, and patient would have to be in the bed until then. - Lack of nurse evaluation when patient advised they were feeling ill and requested transport to hospital. - No phone in the room for patient ---- Mom remained admitted in the hospital from 9/20 to 10/14.

Assisting me seemed a foreign concept, when they did it was rough handed, I had a broken leg with no weight bearing. During my stay often I would not get morning meds until afternoon, evening meds were scheduled for 8:30'ish often didn't get til after 10:30 one time 1:30am. Five times when I requested a pain med it took 3-5 hours to get one. I was kept awake all night because of the staff's noises tv up too loud and talking loud in hall. Wouldn't have gone there if I knew what I was going to. Asked to be released when I knew I had done all that I could do. It was rapidly effecting my mental state
