I came to her initially for what I was pretty sure were food allergies but no other doctor I'd seen had been able to help me with them. They kept trying to prescribe me antacids or drugs like Nexium and didn't even acknowledge that something more could be going on. She helped me figure out what my allergies were AND guided me to heal the damage done to my gut as I had just been living in ignorance. She also helped me with something I would have never expected...dealing with a stomach hernia after the ER wasted hours of my time and only sent me home with Mylanta! I coudn't even stand up straight the day after that terrible treatment so she made time for me to come in along with my husband whom she taught to literally squeeze my stomach back into place. It was the craziest thing, I had never heard of a stomach hernia before NOR that it could be manipulated manually, but it worked IMMEDIATELY and I was so so grateful! We've used that same technique again after this session and in the last couple of years I haven't dealt with the issue at all which I believe is due to my gut healing up even more. Now we are no longer working on just getting my pain and symptoms under control, we are working on optimizing a healed body to let me do more things with greater strength, energy and clarity than ever before. I appreciate these doctors very much and I have made many referrals to their practice. If you are looking for real partners who will help you find your real issues and lead you to feeling your best, definitely visit IHP!

She continues to have maintenance adjustments based on her softball activity level. I had sciatic nerve issues many years ago that they fixed with massages, adjustments, and being put on a traction machine which pulls the spine apart at a gentle pace. It took some time, but it worked! I'm currently dealing with a pinched nerve in my shoulder blade which I have 100% confidence in these brothers to fix as well! I highly recommend Schmitz Chiropractic for all your family's chiropractic needs and their staff is second to none! I've also purchased massages for my wife for Mother's Day gifts. Dr. Morra has a great sense of humor and my kids enjoy him as well as as the nurse practitioners in his office. Once when my daughter was 3 or 4 we took her to a Priority Care over the weekend where they prescribed antibiotics for an ear infection and cream for a bad diaper rash. I had a feeling none of this was correct so we saw Dr. Morra Monday morning and it turned out there was no ear infection and the rash was actually caused by a virus. We were so thankful that he caught it and we didn't give our daughter an unneeded antibiotic. We also appreciate that he never prescribes unneeded medicine! Out of all the surgeons I have dealt with at Christian Northeast (and there are a lot of great ones), Dr. Jensen is by far my favorite. He is the head of surgery at Christian and is fantastic. Very old school with a true passionate commitment for his job and his patients, and an excellently skilled general surgeon. He is a very sweet man with a great sense of humor. He is very friendly to the nurses and even when I call him and wake him up in the middle of the night, he is nice, patient, and very thorough with his orders to make sure the patient gets the utmost best care. If I needed surgery, I'd go to him. If my sweet little grandmother needed surgery, I'd send her to him. Great guy.
