Recently we went back for another purchase. Paul was off that day so we ended up working with a sales representative by the name of Corliss and another employee (whose name I wish I could remember). That employee is the one that handles all of their cutting and binding. These two folks we extremely helpful and actually unrolled several types of carpet so we could get a better look at it. The binding fellow actually spent a considerable amount of time with us explaining different types of binding material and showing us different contrasting colors to go with the carpet we ended up selecting. It was actually very close to the end of his shift but he actually said he would stay late to be able to cut and bind our carpet while we waited so we would not have to make a second trip for a pickup. We highly recommend this business for their tremendous selection of carpeting and also for their absolutely outstanding customer service. They clearly want to be sure they have satisfied and, hopefully, return customers. Don't hesitate to give them a try.

This place offered both, along with many selections of different types of flooring. Yes, it is a warehouse inside so some things seemed jumbled around. But, the salesperson (Paul) was extremely helpful in explaining to us some of the options available and differences in product lines. We haven't bought anything yet (and they work on commission) but he seemed happy to just help us out whether we made a purchase or not. MADE in the USA! The sales associate/design consultant I had was Paras Hilstro who was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. She answered all of my questions that day and later in several emails. I was allowed to borrow 10 fabric samples to take home which helped me make a decision. I was able to place my order by phone which was very good. My furniture was arrived at Bassett two weeks ahead of the projected date. It was delivered 6 days before Thanksgiving which was perfect since I was hosting for the holiday. The delivery was flawless from competence of delivery men to setting up the furniture. I highly recommend Bassett Furniture for quality and value. In addition, I highly recommend Design Consultant Paras Hilstro for her excellent service including knowledge of this furniture line.

Horrible experience with this company. They were hired by my apartment complex to recarpet my three…read morebedroom apartment. First three installers left behind a large lump in the living room carpet, a sunken piece and four breaks in the hallway, and an untucked break in the bedroom. After complaining, they sent two different installers who did stretch out the living room carpet, but were not successful in repairing the hallway carpet. Then they sent a different installer to put in a new carpet in the hallway. That carpet looked like it was a different shade from the other carpeting. They sent a manager out who concluded that the carpeting in two bedrooms was put in at a different angle from the carpet in the hallway and remainder of the apartment. They offered to again replace the hallway carpet. And it still looks a different shade. Four different installers and two managers and I am left with a carpet that looks different from room to room and there are many visible breaks. I wish I had kept my old carpet. Had I been paying for this (instead of my apartment complex) I would be suing them in small claims court. I was told that they subcontract out their installers and that is why I saw four different installers.

However, I would like to give 1 star to whoever decided that 2 chairs from a dining room set should be replaced by a bench (if I could insert a photo of Grumpy Cat here, I would.) I paid attention to what was available versus what would be made to order, and how long the latter would take to arrive. I decided upon a set by a maker who I was told was reliable, and that the set would typically arrive in roughly 3 weeks. Given the problems with labor and delivery these days, I waited 5 weeks until checking back, and I discovered the table had just arrived overnight, and delivery was immediately scheduled. Not only did the delivery come on time, they were early. They were certainly eager to try to get me to purchase more, extolling the quality and value of everything I walked by (welcome to furniture selling). Yes, I'll agree with the quality, but quite frankly, a lot of what they are selling just isn't of a style of interest to me. Though I'll certainly stop in a few more times to check what's offered when I'm looking for more furniture, and I will personally focus on in-stock items, because they have a much shorter delivery time.
