Wow! Just wow! Probably the best meal i've had since moving to Little Rock…read more I had the Special of the Day- pork chops in gravy with potato salad, fried okra, cornbread and a peach fried pie. Pork was boneless, very tender, smothered in a brown gravy. Well seasoned but not over bearing and not overly salty. Great! Potato salad was slughtly sweet and tangy, reminded me of a German potato salad. It was superb. Okra was crunchy and crisp on the outside, tender on the inside. Great. Cornbread were two muffins, tender snd not dry. Would have been even better with butter and honey. Fried pie was lovely, not smothered with a sugar glaze do you actually taste the filling. Can you tell i loved this place? I'll be back.

The customer service was top notch. They apologized for the wait, explained more food was being prepared and overall nice vibe. We ordered several plates(fried chicken, fried pork chops, cabbage, greens, Mac n cheese, great northern beans, dressing, black eyed peas, pinto beans, etc). Everything was seasoned well and very tasty. Oh and the portion sizes are amazing. You must try the banana pudding. Woohoo. We will return.

All the flavors paired well with each other, the only downside to this was it was a little greasy. The other foods the serve sound amazing and I can tell by the menu that they serve a lot of rich food, this is probably not the best place to go if you're looking to eat healthy ijs. Some of their plates are way overpriced and not worth spending the money on in my opinion, since you can get the same thing for cheaper at other southern restaurants.
