I work with Kelly at Home Care Plus weekly to order medical equipment for our patients, and I have had nothing but good experiences with them. Kelly is super nice and a great communicator. She's always helpful and friendly; and her cheerful voice can really turn your day around. Someone give this woman a raise! Turnaround time is great! Every time I call to follow up and see if a patient received their equipment, 99% of the time the equipment was already delivered before I placed my follow up call. My mom bought a rollator here and didn't have a chance to use it before she died. When I attempted to return it I was told that they don't buy back used items. I reiterated that my mom died before using. The clerk was rude and said I needed a receipt. She expressed zero empathy for my loss and shooed me out the door. If I'm in need of medical supplies I won't be back. read more

Small store but they really carry alot of stuff one may need for a person with limited mobility. In my experience, the attendant was very kind and helped answer any questions we had and even helped us load our purchase into the car. Their prices for the product I was looking for was pretty reasonable compared to other places I had contacted. I can't say enough about the fabulous service; from Kelly who manages the store and who made the best product recommendations to the owner, Jerry, who personally delivered a rolling commode/shower seat to a downtown condo to see if it would "fit". Jerry also removed the bathroom door so the wheel chair would roll through. There was no charge for the unexpected Saturday delivery or door removal! They have a necessary service available so that's the only reason I was forced to deal with this company. They don't understand the concept of customer service. The information you get will conflict with the next person you speak with and the woman (I guess it's only 1 person) responsible for billing is very rude. Horrible customer service. They sold me a defective product and when I brought it back to the store, to exchange it for one that is working, they had bad attitude .Finally one of them , in very judgemental voice questioned me " If is not working what didn't you returned it right back" Mind you i still had 11 more days to return the product, besides, their defective product cost me my time and and money to drive back there for something that is not my fault but their. I was in Chicago, in a hotel, on vacation, caught my foot on some uneven sidewalk, went air born and landed on my knee cap and broke it into two pieces. At the hospital I was put in a stabilizer so my leg needed to be straight out. I needed a wheelchair with the right attachment so that I could get to the airport to get home to California. The first supply store, provided a wheelchair and the leg attachment was too short. Time was running out, we called Home Care Plus, they're normal delivery hours had ended so the owner brought the correct wheelchair to my hotel. Now that is excellent customer service. I had back surgery and needed to buy a brace. Initially I purchased one at Walgreens but I didn't feel like it fit me very well, so I decided to go to a medical supply store hoping that they would have more options. I was very impressed with Home Care Plus on Pulaski. They had a good selection, and most importantly, the woman who was working there was very knowledgeable as to which ones would be best for me and why. I ended up purchasing a brace which was designed for a woman's body and it is a much better fit. I also inquired about other products that might be helpful to me given my restriction to bending and she pointed out several other products and explained to me how they worked. I never felt like she was trying to make a sale, or that she was getting annoyed with having to answer my questions...in other words, it was customer service as its best. A rare experience. The store was clean, well-lit, and friendly. This, combined with the great customer service, earns Home Care Plus a five-star review. If i ever need any future medical supplies this will be my first stop. Highly recommended. read more
